“Thats’ good, keep on doing that Brambles.” Arthur spoke out as he swung his key spear. “Wide Sweep!”

Several Spring Hoof Goats were cut in a row, causing them to bleat in pain.
~BAA~
But these were just the ones that Arthur had picked out. Around six more goats were currently in the sky!
If a random player looked at the scene they would find it extremely strange. Six goats were being juggled in the air while a giant beetle tossed them.
Then there was a single player who would hit the said goat and send them back to the beetle.

‘The Beast Juggler Achievement is coming in handy a lot.’ Arthur smiled as he continued the cycle.
After Brambles had obtained the achievement, Arthur and the beetle had fought a couple of Spring Hoof Goats. It was during this time that Arthur figured out a good strategy to fight multiple of them.
And when a group finally ambushed them, Arthur utilized the strategy.
While Arthur and Brambles were strong enough to kill them, the issue was not that. The real issue was the lack of space on the mountain. If Arthur and Brambles took a wrong step or overshot an attack, they could very well fall off the side.
Plus there was always a chance the edges could collapse on their own, especially due to the force of the attacks and lead to ones death.

As such, Arthur chose to reduce the number of combatants. Which worked since he could keep on injuring them and then tossing them to Brambles to keep them staggered or in the air.
While the Beast Juggler Achievement only provided 0.5 Seconds of stagger, it was still good enough for them since the main stalling tactic was to keep them in the air. The stagger helped when there were multiple of them as they could still move around and make Brambles miss his hit.
Plus Brambles also seemed to like it and as such it was a good boost for the morale.
A couple of minutes passed after which Arthur and Brambles finally killed all the Spring Hoof Goats.
>Player Arzhur has killed the Spring Hoof Goat!< x 7
>Player Arzhur has obtained 21% Experience!<
>Dragon Horn Beetle has obtained 35% Experience!<
“There we go…” Arthur put away Dietrich and took a look at the gains.
<Player Arzhur Experience: 32%>
<Dragon Horn Beetle Experience: 76%>
“Brambles is gaining experience nicely. Though it might be hard to make him level up before log out.” Arthur muttered after seeing the stats.
“Kiri?” Brambles chittered with a question making Arthur look at it.
“Uh, sure you can eat them.” Arthur permitted.
“KIRI!” The hungry beetle then went on to chow down on the dead goats.
It was a bit of a gnarly scene but Arthur was used to it.
‘Harvesting the horns isn’t even worth much.’ Arthur thought to himself.
The Spring Hoof Goats had a couple of harvestable parts that could be sold. The first was the hooves, which sold for the most. But the issue was that they had to be undamaged.
But the way Arthur and Brambles fought meant that they wouldn’t really be like that. Even for other players, it was hard to obtain their hooves, unless they had a ranged attack that was able to kill them quickly.
Neither Brambles nor Arthur had a skill that fit the requirement.
As such obtaining the hooves was really hard and was mostly done by Archers with great aim.
‘Val would do decent here. Though getting all the way here would also be tough for her.’ Arthur reckoned.
The second harvestable item that one could get from the Spring Hoof goats was none other than their meat. It was the same as mutton and could be used as food for all.
But then again, it didn’t pay that well compared to its weight and as such it wasn’t a good source of coins.
Which was why, Arthur didn’t care to harvest them as it would only take more time and little value. Rather than that, it was much better for him to just let Brambles eat the corpses.
That way they still had some use and won’t be fully wasted.
A short while later, Brambles was done eating and they were ready to continue onwards.
‘The path is sure getting narrower.’ Arthur thought as the edges came closer.
One wrong step and one could easily fall off the mountain, dying to the fall damage.
“Just keep on flying Brambles, I don’t know if the path can take your full weight.” He warned the beetle just in case.
“Kiki!” The Beetle nodded with its horn.
Arthur also checked the time and saw that he barely had 50 minutes left now.
“We need to at least get to a decent resting spot.” Arthur knew logging out here would be very dangerous.
As such, he tried to speed up as much as he could and finally got out of the narrow path.
>Warning! Player Arzhur will be forcefully logged out in 10 minutes!<
And just when Arthur got through, the warning popped up.
~Phew~
“Finally…” Arthur sat down on a rock and let out a breath of relief. “That was close.”
It had taken him about 40 minutes to get through all that, and he could finally relax.
But Arthur didn’t drop his guard. He first looked around and surveyed the area for any enemies. His passive skill was coming in handy a lot and allowed him to see everything in the dark as clear as the day.
He even used Dragon’s Insight a few times just to check for any hidden foes and confirmed that he was safe.
“Hmm… now to make a safe spot to log out.” Arthur said before looking for some things.
He was in a small clearing near the mountain top, and as such, there was no lack of large rocks and boulders here.
“Brambles push that boulder to here.” Arthur walked up to the mountain wall and then pointed to a boulder that was about 2 meters tall.
“Ki!” The Beetle quickly went and used his large horn to push the boulder.
~Rumble~
~craggle~
The moving of the boulder was a bit rough as it didn’t exactly just roll. Its shape was not rounded in any way and it had an unequal polygonal shape.
The movement of the boulder also left a track on the ground, as could be seen from the gravel and soil. Arthur went to cover it up, while Brambles did his work of moving it.
This took two minutes leaving Arthur with little time.
“Good, that’s perfect.” Arthur said before pointing to another boulder which was smaller. “Now move that here too.”
“Ki!” the beetle quickly got to work and rolled the smaller boulder which had a rounded shape.
It also had a lot of cracks on it, showing that it had been here for a long time and had as such been weathered by the elements.
A minute later, Brambles had put the boulder near the large boulder.
“This should be good enough.” Arthur nodded his head before moving to the wall side.
He had his back against the mountain wall, and had around three quarters of his body hidden by the large boulder.
“Hmm… just right.” Arthur reckoned he could hide by just sitting down. “Now push the smaller boulder a bit more Brambles.” He said.
“Ki!” the Beetle pushed the smaller boulder slowly, until it was making a V shaped angle with the larger boulder.
Arthur was now sitting in the open gap while the two boulders and the mountain wall were touching. It was in a rough triangular space with just enough space for Arthur to sit.
“Perfect!” Arthur said stopping the beetle.
If anyone passed by, they wouldn’t even be able to see Arthur. The same could be said for the enemies that would pass by.
This was the protection method that Arthur had thought up off. Of course, it was only for the times when he actually logged back in. The boulders would server as protection when he appeared in the game again.
If any enemy was present when he arrived, they wouldn’t attack him right away. Even if they smelled him, they would at most hit the rocks first which would probably not move.
At the very least, it would give Arthur just enough time to react and move.
“Alright, I’ll see you soon Brambles.” Arthur said unsummoning the beetle.
~shua~
Brambles turned into a flash of light and disappeared as the final minute arrived.
“Log ou—” but just as Arthur was about to log out a notification popped up.
>Player Arzhur has fulfilled the condition for a title!<
