VRMMORPG: Dragomancer Reborn - Chapter 260 Debt Free!
In order to get the Teleportation Scrolls, Arthur headed to a shop that specialized in selling magic items. This was due to the fact that the Teleportation was a kind of magic in the end.
At the shop, one could buy not only magic scrolls, but also other magic items like staffs, accessories, robes and more. It was a place that would be decently busy, but since it was already night time, the shop barely had more than a couple of people.
As such, Arthur didn’t have any difficulty in finding the scrolls.
“Hmm, three should be fine for now.” Arthur muttered to himself, and picked up the scrolls from a shelf.
With how popular and necessary the Teleportation Scrolls where, they were usually made in bulk and had an entire shelf dedicated to them. The scrolls were about ten centimeters long and were tightly rolled up, to take the least amount of space. This allowed over a hundred scrolls to easily fit on the shelf and could be restocked easily too.
Arthur glanced around the shop and looked at a few more interesting items, but didn’t feel interested in any of them. Most of them weren’t needed for him, and even the accessories that he could use weren’t affordable right now, costing tens to hundreds of gold coins.
“I’d like to take these three scrolls.” Arthur took the scrolls to the counter after a few minutes of browsing.
“That’ll be one gold and fifty silvers.” The shopkeeper spoke.
With each teleportation scroll costing 50 Silver Coins, one could see how most players wouldn’t be able to afford it. Rather than them, they would much rather buy some skills or other equipment. After all, it would be something that would last them a long time and wouldn’t be consumed in one go.
“Here you go,” Arthur took out the coins and handed them to the man.
But Arthur knew just how important the Teleportation Scrolls could be. Not only would they be able to save one in an emergency, they could also help in crossing vast distances in one go.
A Player could simply open and use one such scroll, in the middle of a fight that he thought he was losing. As such, instead of dying, they would be teleported back to the safety of the city. After all, dying in a location when one was close to leveling up was very frustrating.
Instead, the players would save time by getting all that experience again and also stop themselves from losing their equipment.
In the future, having a teleportation scroll would be a must for whenever a player went out, just like potions and food.
Of course, there were restrictions to the Teleportation Scrolls too. One couldn’t just use them everywhere, and they had a range limitation too.
One couldn’t just use them from another side of the world and expect to be transported all that distance. It would be a huge issue, as people would simply bring a massive amount of scrolls with them, and exploit them.
For example, one could buy scrolls from a high leveled area, and sell them to the low leveled players allowing them to skip over.
This could be a great balancing issue and as such needed to be restricted.
But this didn’t mean that one couldn’t teleport over long distances. That was possible too, but needed the right kind of scroll, as well as enough magic.
But such scrolls would have a higher cost too.
And making scrolls like those was not simple either, and would need strong mages to make them. As such the supply was limited and they couldn’t be exploited. Of course, players could simply learn the Teleportation magic too, but that would take them a long time as they couldn’t even be learned before level 150.
‘Teleportation spells would sure as hell be convenient. I should be able to learn them too… though it’ll have to be later.’ Arthur thought to himself.
Done with his shopping, Arthur looked at the time and saw that he still had an hour left before log-out time.
“Time to head out.” This time Arthur didn’t wish to stay back in the city even if he didn’t have much time.
After all, he had a different goal and needed to cover more distance too.
‘The one hour will be enough to get out of the city and then go a bit further too.’ He thought to himself, since it would take him 30 minutes just to get out of the city first.
The night was dark, but the stars and moons shone bright enough to illuminate the path for Arthur once he had left Samson city.
Unlike the city which had plentiful of lamps and lights to show the way, the untamed wilderness only had the skies.
Arthur didn’t go that far into the forest though, as the time for the logout soon arrived.

Arthur’s avatar disappeared while swirling lights filled his vision. Having returned to the desktop screen, Arthur did his routine tasks with the Grand Nexus Forums and then got out of the Dream pod V3.
“HAAAAH,” Arthur stretched while anticipating a notification.
>Player Arthur’s Hunger is at 20%!<
“And there it is.” Arthur had gotten better at predicting when the notification would appear. “Though the hunger sure as hell is increased now.”
To satisfy that, Arthur quickly made some breakfast and then went on a run to begin his workout routine. Sprinting all the way to the mall, Arthur did indoor rock climbing again.
The instructor was once again impressed by Arthur’s improvement and praised him. Arthur managed to go all the way to the top of the beginner zone this time around, which wasn’t expected by the instructor at all. Still, Arthur knew that this was all due to his improving stats.
‘Even if I have the stats, it doesn’t mean my body can fully use them. I actually need to adapt to them before I can reach my full potential.’ He understood.
Arthur returned to the apartment and settled in for some more work. He wrote two more guides, before saving them as drafts for later.
“Hmm, the people in the forums should have been marinating for a decent time now.” Arthur muttered to himself and checked them on his phone.
<Grey Watcher>
<Followers: 85,174>
“Sheesh! They more than doubled already?” Arthur hadn’t expected the growth to be this fast. “Wait if the followers are this much, how much is…” A surge of excitement filled him as he very carefully opened up the revenue section.
<User Revenue>
Total Generated: 89,751 UC
~gulp~
“Eighty… Eighty nine thousand… what the—” Arthur almost dropped his phone at the astounding number.
He had already gotten over forty two thousand UC yesterday and today he had obtained more than double that too. This made him realize that he had grossly underestimated the timeline that was needed for him to earn.
“I… I can already pay off the debt.” Arthur said to himself while his hands trembled.
~huu~
Arthur took a deep breath to calm down first before reorganizing his thoughts.
‘The revenue spike is definitely due to the four articles I published yesterday. And it’ll probably continue to give it for a while more.’ Arthur thought to himself. ‘Wait, I need to check more.’ He scrolled through the forums again.
The more he scrolled, the more Arthur realized why his revenue was growing so fast.
“Am I… the only one doing this?” Arthur noticed that no other guide even appeared on the top pages now.
All that one could see was his guides on top, along with people mentioning it in multiple posts and discussing further about it further.
The Agate E-spots team vouching for Arthur had taken it to another level.
‘Looks like they promoted on their other pages too.’ Arthur saw once he opened the team’s private page.
“Okay… this is good. I can make things better now…” Arthur could already feel something good coming in the future.
“But first, time to flush the debts.” Arthur said and withdrew all the revenue.
~Ding~
>Account Balance: 107,395 UC<
“Here we go.” Arthur clicked on the transfer button.
>Hypnotek has been paid 80,000 UC!<
>You’re leftover debt is 0 UC!<
>Hypnotek thanks you for your timely repayment of your debt. We hope you find our services satisfactory<
~Ding~
>Account Balance: 27,395 UC<
“Haha… haha… AHAHAHA!” Arthur burst out laughing, as a mix of joy and peace filled him.
After all, few things came close to the feeling of paying off all your debt. Plus, even after that, Arthur as left with a decent amount and would be getting more later too.
This made a lot of Arthur’s stress about the future drain away. Even if the game was full of uncertainties, Arthur felt like he had the capacity to take them on now.
“This changes things now.” Arthur smiled and opened up a site he had often observed a lot in the past but never actually spent on it.
