Vyr’s Journey Through The Multiverse - Chapter 30
It was Friday evening, Vyr and Ruby were already packed for the weekend adventure Vyr had planned. But right now Vyr was crying and laughing on the floor as she watched Ruby struggle to get a cookie from a large cookie jar.
Now this requires a bit of context to make sense. Anyone who knew ruby could tell she was addicted to cookies. It didn’t really matter what kind but her favorite were soft style chocolate chunk cookies. Tuesday Vyr had gotten an idea for both a prank and a treat for her red haired girlfriend.
So Wednesday she skipped class as she often did. But instead of working on her sword, she went to the dorm kitchen and made cookies. From sugar cookies and chocolate chips, all the way to oatmeal raisin. Then she made one especially large chocolate chunk cookie.
Having baked all the cookies she then bought a particularly tall jar from the system. Using some Harry potter wizard magic she made the large cookie fit perfectly flat in the bottom of the jar. Then Vyr proceeded to dump the rest of the cookies into the jar.
When ruby got out of class that day she handed the bow tied jar to ruby as a gift. She also told her the big cookie at the bottom was her favorite kind, chocolate chunk. Ruby was obviously excited and thanked her for the gift. As the week went by ruby had to reach deeper and deeper into the jar until today.
Today Vyr was on the floor of the room struggling to breath as she watched the pretty much week long plan come together. As she was watching Ruby, Yang walked through the door. She stopped and took a moment to process what was happening.
“What’s uhh … what’s going on here?” Yang asked, gesturing at the scene.
Ruby pouted and yelled “Yang! Help me! Vyr is being a mennie and wont let me eat the cookies she gave me.”
“Hey, I’m not stopping you, just get it from the jar. The lid is already off anyway.” Vyr said laughing still. Ruby made a frustrated grunt and pouted before sticking her arm back up to the shoulder in the jar.
“So how did this happen?” Yang asked, looking confused.
“I made the jar so that it is just longer than ruby’s reach. That way when she tries to get the cookies on the bottom it will always be just out of reach.” Vyr explained looking proud of her prank.
Yang started laughing before asking “why cant she just turn the jar upside down and let the cookie fall out?”
“Ah! Thanks yang!” ruby yelled. She then turned the entire jar upside down over her head. But besides getting a shower of cookie crumbs the big cookie at the bottom didn’t move. This led to her shaking off the crumbs before pouting at the laughing duo and asking “why didn’t it fall out?”
Vyr managed to calm herself enough to say “because, when i put it in there i made sure it was the exact size of the inside of the jar. That way when it cooled it would seal itself to the bottom of the jar by creating a vacuum.” she then proceeded to break down into a fit of giggles again.
Ruby seeing no way to get the chocolate treat by herself she threw away her shame and went for the ultimate technique. She set the jar back on the floor and made it look like she was gonna try and reach inside it again. But right when she crouched she launched herself onto Vyr and wrapped herself around the multicolored Witcher.
“VYRRRRR~ I want the cookie~.” Ruby said in the voice of a spoiled child while hugging herself to Vyr.
Yang quickly turned away from the now flirting duo and started to change out of her school uniform. She took a bit of time but eventually decided on the outfit she wanted. She wore her normal yellow low cut shirt that had her symbol on it. She then put on a nice dark brown leather Jacket over it, making the yellow stand out even more. Then she put on a pair of tight fitting jeans that had stylized tears along the front. All in all the whole outfit accentuated her well endowed figure and would turn many heads wherever she went.
When she was finished changing, Yang turned to say goodbye before she left. Vyr had the jar in front of her and was using a glass cutter to extract the big cookie. Ruby on the other hand, was sitting on the bed behind her and playing with Vyr’s hair.
(Yang)”I’ll see you guys in a bit.”
(Vyr)”Damn yang your legs look great in those jeans”
“You should see me without them.” Yang replied with a teasing smile and a wink.
“why would you take off your legs?” Ruby asked, looking at Yang weirdly.
Hearing this Vyr and Yang froze in place. Ruby still not understanding was confused at their sudden stop. As Ruby was waving her hand in front of Vyr’s face Yang came back and hugged Ruby saying “aww~ you’re still so pure. How haven’t you been corrupted yet? Vyr are you slacking off?”
“Hey, I take offense to that. Do you even know how hard it is to corrupt someone so pure?!” Vyr said with an offended look.
“Hey what are you talking about?” Ruby asked.
“Don’t worry sis, Vyr will teach you later.” Yang said leaving the room with a wave.
*Saturday morning/*
Team RWBYS was gathered at the docks of Beacon today. Everyone was packed for the weekend trip. What had started as a small get away for just Ruby and Vyr had become a team building exercise thanks to Ruby. Apparently Ruby had invited the entire team along with them.
*sigh*’ i should have seen this coming. Whatever, I can make this work. Ill just have to improvise. I can do this.’ Vyr thought to herself.
(Ruby)”ok team! Vyr has something planned for us! Along with Monday being a holiday, that means we have a three day weekend!”
Blake, Yang, and even Weiss easily got swept up in Ruby’s momentum and all gave sounds of excitement. Yeah that was a big surprise for everyone when Weiss decided to come along as well. She seemed to be coming around to the whole “Team” idea when she realized how much effort everyone was putting in together. She was a little skittish at first but soon found a place ready for her in the team.
“So~, where are we going?” Yang asked.
“Yes. Where ARE we going?” Weiss followed with Blake making a noise of agreement.
“We are going…” Ruby started as everyone leaned in.
“uh… where are we going?” Ruby asked, turning to Vyr.
Hearing this everyone but Ruby and Vyr fell comically on the ground. Seeing everyone’s attention on her, Vyr walked to the front of the group and set a machine projector on the ground. As she steps back, Vyr pushes a buŧŧon on the top while activating her magic. Soon after the machine starts to make whirring sounds and let off sparks as a portal appeared.
“alright . everyone through the portal.” Vyr said, pushing Yang and Blake forward.
“Uh is this thing safe?” Blake asked with clear doubt.
“Define safe. I mean it won’t kill us.”
“Good.” Weiss said moving forward. But right as she was about to step through she could hear Vyr muttering “probably.”
Before she could back away, Weiss felt someone push her from behind into the portal. Right as she fell through Vyr whispered “long live the king.”
Now that the first subj- teammate was through, Vyr turned to Yang.
“No. Nope. Not gonna happen.” Yang said while shaking her head no.
“Really? Are you sure? It IS a whole new adventure. One that doesn’t come by easily. A completely new experience.” Vyr coaxed.
“I know you’re playing me, but I can’t say no either.” Yang said slowly as she walked through the portal.
Vyr turned to the last hard sell, Blake. Why wasn’t Ruby a hard convince? That’s because vyr was literally having to hold her in place else she would’ve been the first one through.
Blake seeing she was next quietly and stealthily used her semblance to make a copy of herself so she could slip away. At least that was her plan until she heard Vyr say” either you come back and go through yourself or i throw you through.” Blake thought she was bluffing and wouldn’t be able to find her, so she kept trying to escape.
Vyr sighed and looked at the unstable embodiment of excitement in her arms before letting Ruby go. The second she did ruby exploded into rose petals that swarmed through the portal with a loud “wheeeeeee!” Now that her hands were free Vyr cracked her neck and took off towards Blake with her top speed. What ensued was ultimately a short race ending with Vyr lifting a struggling Blake over her head like a trophy. She walked to the portal and threw Blake in with a ceremonious “Yeet!”.
Now that everyone was though she walked over to the entirely useless machine and stored it in her inventory. It never really had a use besides fooling the others who didn’t know about magic.
