- Chapter 683: It's Not Even An Actual Boss Room
We’ve waited for another hour but the door still remained closed. Just what the heck is behind this door?
Everyone here had already eaten their fill and I’m tired of being awkward around naked and half naked Dungeoneers.
Seriously… Some of them even decided to get a little frisky at the back and I wonder just how they were able to do it after being put in sexual slavery by the succubi for who knows how long?
I’d thought they’d be tired of sex by now but evidently not.
“Screw this stupid thing,” I muttered, storming up to the door and kicking on it with my foot.
I wasn’t really expecting anything to happen so I was understandably stunned when I saw the door creaked open an inch from my kick.
What the heck?
The sound of the door creaking also got the attention of everyone else and they were starting to gather behind me, wondering whether we could finally proceed.
I went up towards the door and realised I most definitely had not imagined it and it had indeed opened up a crack from my kick.
I then pressed my palms on the door and pushed with all my strength, only to stumble forward when the door wasn’t as heavy as I thought it was and it swung open easily.
The door itself swung inwards and smashed into the wall with a loud crash, revealing a dark interior that had a single light source shining from the ceiling to reveal a wooden chair in the centre of the room.
Feeling a little cautious since this sort of drew a parallel with the throne in the previous boss rooms I’ve been in, I slowly stepped past the doors with my party following right behind me.
Seeing that nothing happened even after I took a few steps in, I turned back to the others who were just looking at us from beyond the threshold.
“You guys coming?”
One of the Dungeoneers gulped, “Are you sure it’s safe?”
“Hell no, but I know for sure you aren’t going anywhere by staying there either. And unless you intend to fight your way out with your bare fists and no one else to back you up, maybe you should stick with us?”
A few of them quickly ran into the room after me, trailing just a few steps behind while trying to use their hands to cover themselves up.
I used [Spotlight] to create our own light source above us but even that was not enough to illuminate the entire room. It kind of felt like the darkness itself was swallowing up the light somehow and preventing it from reaching further than a few metres away.
We slowly approached the chair in the centre of the room until the light from my [Spotlight] touched the edge of the light shining on the empty chair.
The chair wasn’t anything special either, it was just a simple wooden dining chair with no armrests and a back rest high enough to reach my shoulders if I were to sit down on it.
What was– Wait…
I noticed that there was something at the very edge of the light and I angled my own [Spotlight] to shine towards the object.
I realised the object was actually a length of rope that seemed to have been torn apart and left on the ground. Presumably used to tie up whoever or whatever was seated on this chair before we came in.
Wait… Doesn’t that mean that whatever was tied to this chair is currently free and perhaps even in the same room as us right now?
“Anyone else able to use Lumenmancy in this group?” I asked.
They all looked at each other and collectively shook their heads.
Damnit… Ok.
I mentally instructed Eins and the others to use [Spotlight] as well, creating several balls of light to illuminate more of our surroundings.
That seemed to trigger something as the room rumbled slightly which led to some loose stones and dust to fall from the ceiling.
My Shadow Guards arranged themselves to surround me in a defensive formation while the other Dungeoneers that were following us huddled together for safety.
I tried to expand the area of the light but it really felt impossible to expand it beyond a certain radius so I layered myself with all the defensive buffs I had including [Mind Shield] just in case of a surprise mental assault.
I waited to see if anything else happened but when nothing was forthcoming, I decided we should just advance forward to see if there was anything at the other side of the room.
That was when a soft crash resounded from behind us and we turned to see that the chair that had been standing on its own perfectly well had suddenly toppled over for seemingly no reason.
Then, a breeze seemed to blow past and a woman’s moan could be heard.
Right after that, a man’s groan and then a high pitched scream followed closely behind that.
…
Err… Hello? This place is supposed to be an erotic Dungeon right? Why did it suddenly switch genres to change into a horror Dungeon instead?
You can’t just change the theme of a Dungeon halfway, can you? That’s not fair.
As if responding to my thoughts, light flooded the room and temporarily blinded everyone for a moment.
When my sight adjusted to the light, I realised that the room we were in was actually not empty at all.
Dotted around the room were various pillars that stretched all the way to the ceiling and on each pillar were several male and female Dungeoneers chained up to it, all in various states of undress and sexual stimulation.
Some of them were being assaulted by tentacles that sprouted out from the pillars themselves, others seemed to be being raped by floating genitalia and even others were simply doing it with their own hands of their own accord.
What the heck is going on here? Also… How the heck did we not hear their moans before this?
“Tom?! That’s Tom!! Hey!! Tom!! Can you hear me?!” One of the Dugeoneers behind me shouted.
The Dungeoneer next to him gasped, “You’re right! I was wondering why I couldn’t find him after I escaped! So he’s here!” read-first-at-MVLeMpYr
“Wait, the one that’s masturbating over there is Jessica!! Hey!! Jessica!! Down here!!”
That seemed to set off the rest as they started to recognise the people that were chained to the pillars.
That was when I understood that these were the captured Dungeoneers that the demoness must have brought down here to torment as Hiandoca had told me about.
The Dungeoneers then spread out towards the pillars, each of them trying to rescue someone who was being chained to those pillars.
Ignoring what they were doing, I turned my attention to the chair that fell over and I realised that this must be where Tyler was held as well before he was killed off by the demoness.
Poor thing…
I’m guessing his body must have already been absorbed by the Dungeon by now so there’s nothing left of him.
Sad way to go, honestly, but I guess there’s worse ways for one to meet their end so he could be said to be rather fortunate in a way.
I guess right now we should just concentrate on saving all these people so I directed my Shadow Guards towards the pillars as well to aid the other Dungeoneers in rescuing their friends and comrades.
A lot of them seemed to be quite out of sorts but I guess if they were subjected to that demoness’s whims, it wouldn’t be a surprise to have their wills and minds broken.
“He… Hey? What are you doing? Wait, stop!”
I heard some shouting coming from one of the pillars and I turned to see a female Mahun scratching and trying to pull herself away from several male Mahuns.
I thought those guys were doing something to her when she screamed, “No! Let me gooooo!! I need more! I need more of his cock!! I need it! I need it!
I neeeeeed it!!!”
“Calm down Jessica!! Get a hold of yourself! What are you talking about?!”
“Him!! His cock!! He fucked me so good with it!! I feel so, so empty without it! I need him! I need him to give it to me!
Get away from me!! Don’t stop me! Let me go!!”
I narrowed my eyes and realised that she was staring straight at the overturned chair and trying to claw her way towards it.
Wait… She’s talking about Tyler right?
Maybe the demoness forced Tyler to screw her and made use of some other magic to make her addicted to him or something? So now she’s suffering from withdrawal because she couldn’t get it anymore?
Damn…
I was just about to tell her that Tyler was dead when the chair suddenly went up in flames and burned into ashes, creating a giant flame that was bigger than a human before a shadowy figure emerged from within the flames.
It was male with the body of a Mahun and horns jutting out of his head, deep red skin with tattoos running down his limbs and a cocky grin on his face.
“I’ve returned, my pretties~” He chuckled.
Who the heck is this?
