- Chapter 688: A Duel For The Dungeon Reward
They look like they are fully prepared to fight me on this if I continue to stand my ground on this matter.
I would like to say that I have no qualms in beating all of them up if I have to but I’d rather avoid such a messy outcome if I could help it.
Not because I have compassion for them being absolute retards, but because I wanna go home already… Or rather, I wanna go back to the other girls already…
Actually… If I just beat all of them up… Wouldn’t it make things go faster?
Hey… That seems like a pretty good idea~
I gave them a smile, “Are you threatening me right now?”
The guy with the axe hefted his weapon over his shoulder, “So what if I am? What are you going to do about it?”
“I’ll just let you know that I don’t like being threatened. Also, my companions don’t like it when I’m threatened.”
“Does it look like I care whether you like it or not? I’m demanding you to turn over the Dungeon clear rewards that you stole from everyone right now!”
“You want all the things I stole from them?”
“Yes!”
“Alright, here you go.”
I stretched out my hand towards him with my fingers enclosed in a fist, which came as a surprise to most of the others who clearly wasn’t expecting me to comply.
The axe guy furrowed his brows before coming up to look at my outstretched hand.
When he got close enough, I opened my enclosed fist to reveal that there was absolutely nothing there.
“There you go!” I told him cheerfully.
He blinked and pointed at my hand, “What is this?”
“The Dungeon clear reward that I stole from these guys!”
“But… There’s nothing there?”
“Exactly! Wow! So perceptive! That’s exactly what I stole from them!”
I then pulled back my hand and grinned at him, daring him to say otherwise.
The leader of those rescued Dungeoneers quickly ran up to the axe guy and whispered something in his ear.
Whatever he said, the axe guy agreed to it before he pointed his axe at me again, “I will ask you this. You, and just you alone. Did you receive a Dungeon Clear reward?”
I tilted my head, wondering why he was asking this but nodded, “Yes, I did.”
“Very well. Then I request a duel with you! Just you and me! If I win, you will give up on your Dungeon Clear reward!”
I frowned, “Why should I even do that?”
Instead of the axe guy answering, the other one pointed an accusatory finger at me and shouted, “You didn’t do anything during the boss fight! It was your party members who fought the boss on your behalf!! Yet you claimed a Dungeon clear reward?! You’re a hypocrite!”
I narrowed my eyes at him, “Sorry but… Who was the one who even found out how to even clear the Dungeon in the first place?”
“That’s nothing! We would have killed him anyway! You just did something unnecessary!”
“Really? Alright, let’s just even assume that that was true. Why do I need to duel this guy?”
“To prove that you’re just some leech who latched themselves on your party and is reaping the benefits of their labour!”
Oh… I get it… This guy thinks I have no combat skills and wouldn’t be able to defend myself.
So the easiest way to corner me was to try and get me into a situation where I have to fight someone to maintain my stance.
I used [Screened] on the axe guy.
[Name: Rogar

Oh geez, and here I thought he was some top class fighter or something… But with those stats? I could definitely beat him.
Still, better to put up a little bit of resistance so that they don’t get suspicious.
I scoffed, “Why would I even accept such terms when I don’t get any benefits from it? If I lose, I lose the Dungeon clear reward that I earned. If I win, I merely just get to keep what I already have. There’s zero benefits for me.”
“Is clearing your name not a good enough benefit?”
“Why do I need to clear my name to a group of strangers that I will most likely never meet again?”
“The Gods are judging you!”
…
Trust me, it took all of my willpower not to say it right there and then that I fucked a goddess just recently and that she would definitely agree with me instead of this stupid dumb dumb over here that is too greedy for his own good.
Still, I had an answer for that.
“In that case, it’s not up to you to decide if I should hand it over or not but the gods, right? I see no sign from them anywhere around that I should listen to your absurdity.”
The dumb guy wanted to argue even more but the axe guy raised his hand, “Enough. How about this? If I win, you will hand over the Dungeon Clear reward you received. Just you. Your party gets to keep the ones they received. But if you win, you can do whatever you want with me.”
I made a face at him, “Sorry, but I’m not into guys. I don’t have any interest in you at all.”
“Then name your prize in the event that you win.”
I thought about it for a moment before turning to look at the idiot, “If I win… This guy will have to get fucked by you in the ass until you orgasm inside him.”
Almost immediately, I could see the idiot’s face turn into one of disbelief before morphing into one of rage.
“What?! This is unacceptable!”
I shrugged, “If you don’t like the terms then there’s no need to challenge me, right?”
The dumb idiot quickly shut his mouth and glared at me.
Clearly he did not wish for me to get away without being challenged but he was also not willing to bear the consequences of the loss should I actually win somehow.
The axe guy turned to me, “Wait a minute… This sounds like I’m also being punished for this, aren’t I? I’m merely carrying out justice.”
I crossed my arms, “If I manage to defeat you, it would mean that I actually have the strength to defeat the boss of the Dungeon and claim the Dungeon clear reward legitimately. Which meant that you were stupid enough to fall for this idiot’s schemes in trying to steal my Dungeon clear reward for him, right?”
He paused for a moment, as if contemplating my words but then the idiot butted in, “Aha! I know what you’re doing! You’re trying to give us some ridiculous win conditions for yourself so that we would back down! You almost got me there! But we all know that you can’t win because you have no skill to beat the boss! So stop stalling for time!
I accept your conditions for this duel!!”
Oh wow, alright… I mean, you are really just that stupid so I wasn’t surprised to know that you were also delusional as well.
The axe guy didn’t seem as sure but he shrugged, “Alright, fine with me, I don’t have any problems with the conditions too.”
I managed to keep myself from smiling at the two who fell into my trap, “Very well. Then with the win and loss conditions set, what are the rules for the actual fight?”
The axe guy nodded at me, “What is your position in your party?”
“I am the leader,” I answered, intentionally making it sound vague.
The idiot’s face lit up as though he already won while the axe guy seemed a bit disappointed.
Now I’m wondering if the axe guy only went along with the idiot because he wanted a good fight and not because he actually believed the idiot’s words.
He let out a sigh, “Alright then… In that case, I would say anything goes as long as there’s no killing. The first one to make the other party submit, admit defeat or render them unable to fight will be the winner, how about that?”
“Any restrictions on equipment?”
“No. I have a healer in my party so they would be able to patch you up even if I were to slash open your torso.”
That’s a little morbid but ok. Not that I planned on having my chest slashed open in the first place.
“What about magic?”
“Also allowed as long as it does not hurt anyone else that isn’t a participant.”
I nodded, “In that case, I agree with the terms of this duel. Shall we start?”
The axe guy nodded and everyone that was outside the entrance of the Dungeon quickly formed a large circle to create an impromptu arena for us to fight.
Alright, let’s get this done and over with.
