<youngjae’s memories=””>
Little Youngjae was in kindergarten. He has many friends. One day there’s a transfer student, Minah.
The first time he sees her, he fell in love with her. He lose some of his friends because he keeps spending time with Minah. “Your friends are going away.” “It’s fine. I want to play with you.” “Why?” “Because I want to.” Youngjae can feel his cheeks burning up.
His next memory leads him to a family trip with Minah and her parents. They both sees a wedding ceremony. Youngjae picks up a seashell. He hands to Minah. “When we grow up, will you be my wife?” Minah smiles and nods. They both holds hands and ran to where their parents are. “Mom. Dad. We grow up, I want to be Minah’s husband.”
Another memory leads him to the time when he properly propose to her. “Minah, will you marry me?” She smiles and said yes.
Another memory leads him to the time when they were arguing. Youngjae threw the pictures at her. “Did you seriously sleep with him?” “Who…Who gave you this?” “Answer me.” Minah looks at him. “I won’t say anything since you already believe what you see or hear.” Minah turns around and stayed silent. Youngjae grabs the cup and threw at the wall. Minah flinched. Youngjae left the house.
…
Youngjae opens his eyes. “Youngjae.” He turns and sees his mom. “Are you okay?” “I’m fine.” Youngjae sits up. Soon Minah runs in, out of breath. Their eyes met.
“Ah Minah. You came.” “Yes.” “Stay here and I’ll go get the doctor.” Minah nods. Minah stays by the doorway. Youngjae tries to get up. Minah walks towards him and help him.
He push her. “Don’t touch me!” Minah bump into the table and fell on the floor along with the broken glass. His mother returns. “Minah!” She looks at youngjae. “What’s wrong with you?!” Minah gets up. “You’re bleeding.” Minah looks at his mother. “Aunt, I’ll take my leave.” “Ah Minah.” Minah left the room. “Youngjae!” He turns and looks away.
…
Youngjae gets better and got discharged from the hospital. He and his mother went to visit Minah. His mother went to use the restroom. Youngjae hears Minah’s voice talking to someone.
He went to take a look. (That’s Lucy.) “oh my. You’re still alive.” Minah ignores her. “I cannot believe you actually slept with another man even though you’re engaged to Youngjae. Wait I should say, you were.” Minah turns around and looks at Lucy. “You takes those photos?!”
Lucy shrugs. “What can I say?” “You!” “You lies to him all this time. He already break the engagement before he lost his memories.” Minah looks away. Lucy laughs. “What happen to the all mighty Minah?” Minah bit her bottom lip. Lucy turns and left.
Minah sighs and left the room. She runs into Youngjae. “Y-youngjae.” “You’re toying with me?” “T-that’s not it. I can explain.” She reaches out to him but he slaps her hand away from him. “You’re probably toy with other men. Did you also seduce them in order to get what you want? Just like you did with him?” She slaps him across his face.
Tears fell down on her cheeks. He never sees her cry ever since her grandmother passed. “If that’s what you think, go ahead.” She was about to leave but she then takes out a piece of paper out of her purse, she rips it in tiny pieces and throw at him. “Since you wanted to get rid of me so badly, I’ll leave. For now on, we’re nothing but just strangers. I’ll cancel our arranged marriage. Satisfied?” She left. She exits the company and heads to her car.
She drives away without her driver. She drives far away from the company and from everything else. She then pulls over on the side. She cries her heart out.
…
That night, Minah calls her mom. “Mom.” “Minah. It’s late. Where are you?” “Mom, he got his memory back.” “What did you say?” “it’s over. He hates me now.” “Minah, come home.”
“Mom. He’s not listening to me. I won’t come back.” “Minah, honey. Come home.” “Im sorry mom. Cancel the engagement.” Minah ends the call. She heads to the countryside.
She heads to the house and get rid of the photos and anything else of him and her. She then sits down by the table, writing a letter to Bobo. She looks around for one last time. “Goodbye.”
Minah left and is nowhere to be seen or heard of. She turns off her phone and left her car in the countryside. She took the bus to somewhere far.
…
In Youngjae’s household, his mother receives a call from Minah’s mother. “Minah said Youngjae remembers everything. Minah has left the house. I don’t know where my daughter is. I even call Bobo and Bobo said she left a letter, turns off her phone, and left her car there.” “Calm down. I’ll talk to youngjae. Let me know if you find her.” “Okay.” The call ends.
His mother sits on the chair across from him. “Minah left the house without letting anyone know.” “Did she?” “Youngjae.” “Mother. No need to worry about her.” Youngjae stands up and heads to his room.
