Li Ying nodded her head as she confirmed and asked, “Do we know each other?”

As far as her memory served her, she had never actually met this man or talked to him. She had certainly heard about him a lot and knew that he was a friend of her brother and Zhihao but being their friend had nothing to do with her so she really didn’t expect the man to recognize her. In fact, nobody knew that Yingli and Devilmagiclover were connected at all so how come this man knew?

“Wha~ You look exactly like your brother!” Wang GuiYing looked to be in awe as he glanced between Li Ying and Li Ling.

Li Ying frowned and rolled her eyes as she repeated her question, “How do you know me?”

“Eh?” Wang GuiYing looked to be a bit stunned as he heard her question, “How could I not know you?”

“Brother, we have never even met before. How were you able to recognize me?”

“Oh… You don’t remember me….?!” Wang GuiYing’s eyes widened as he cried out in shock, “You really don’t remember talking to me?!”

Li Ying looked to be shocked as she heard such a response. She unconsciously took a step back as she felt that the man in front of her had gone senile, “What do you mean? Have we talked before this?”

“We have!!” Wang GuiYing instantly replied as he moved forward to grab her hands in a pleading manner, “Yingli, I contacted you to team up when all the teams were being formed at the starting of the official T.I.A.D. stages, don’t you remember?”

“You contacted me?” Li Ying asked as she tilted her head.

Wang GuiYing bobbed his head up and down as he added, “You even told me to go to hell!”

Li Ying squinted at the man for a minute as she slowly remembered the time when she had cursed him out pretty badly, “Ah!! You!! You’re that creepy player who kept on bugging me to team up with you!”

Wang GuiYing felt no sense of embarrassment or guilt as he heard the girl and he unhesitantly nodded his head as he confirmed, “That was me! Do you remember now?”

Li Ying nodded her head as she snatched her hand back, “You’re just as creepy out of the game too!”

“Eh?” It was Li Ling who interjected, “You two know each other?”

Li Ying and Wang GuiYing both nodded in unison as they confirmed, “We do!”

“I just asked her to team up with me and she cursed me out so badly! She almost made me cry!”

“What?! Damn you! You were the one that kept on pestering me!”

Li Ling frowned and his eyebrows creased together but he said nothing.

“Trash, why would you ask her to team up with you?” Zhihao asked in confusion, “Don’t you already have Zhou Xinyi?”

“That’s because of you,” Wang GuiYing pointed at Zhihao and accused him, “You were unwilling to team up with me and I needed a strong player by my side!”

Zhihao frowned as he questioned, “But you don’t even know her so why would you pester her about it?”

“Oye! Why are you pushing the blame on me? She was the one that was rude to me first! Of course, I didn’t want to lose my face like that so I requested her again and again.”

“Requested?! Why don’t you try being more honest with them!” Li Ying scolded with a  scoff.

Li Ling glared at the man as he heard this, “Trash, did you go and harass my sister online?”

Wang GuiYing’s eyes widened and he gulped as he held his hands in front of him and waved to indicate that he was completely innocent, “I didn’t!”

Li Ling didn’t seem to have believed him as he turned to his sister and asked, “Did he harass you, Yingying?”

Li Ying glanced at Wang GuiYing before looking back at her brother and pondering over it seriously, “I wouldn’t go as far as to say that he harassed me but he did annoy me a lot.”

Wang GuiYing sighed in relief and Li Ying continued, “For a whole week, without missing a day, every single hour, he sent me a new request to team up and no matter how much I denied or rejected the request, he kept on sending it again and again. Even at night, I was bombarded with team-up requests!”

Wang GuiYing’s sigh of relief got stuck in his throat and he felt as if he was choking when he looked at the complicated look on Li Ling’s face.

“Aiya~ It’s just a game~ Just a game~” Wang GuiYing sang as he stepped back in fear and cold sweat seemed to be forming on his forehead.

“Just a game?!” Li Ying didn’t look like she wanted to let the man go that easily, “You even dug up info on me and found out my phone number! You sent me more than a thousand messages! How the hell were you not bored?!”

Even Li Ling couldn’t help but feel a bit shocked as he heard that. To send over a thousand messages in the timespan of just a week? Wang GuiYing seemed to have a lot of free time and determination. Even Li Ling couldn’t compare to that.

Zhihao coughed as he looked at Wang GuiYing and commented, “That’s exactly what online harassment means.”

“Wait…” Li Ling muttered as he squinted, “I have a question. If he harassed you like that, why didn’t you tell me? And why the hell didn’t you recognize him?”

Li Ying clapped her hands as she complained, “That’s exactly what the problem was!”

“Eh?”

“This idiot didn’t even give me his gaming ID. He never introduced himself! His ID was set as private so I had no idea who was sending me the requests and messages. He just kept on repeating the same thing. Be my partner! Join my team! Let’s work together!” Li Ying dragged Wang GuiYing down by exposing him.

“Well, of course, I didn’t introduce myself,” Wang GuiYing frowned as he defended himself, “I’m BBtrash, everyone already knows me. You must have gotten my hashcode when I sent you the request. My hashcode is pretty famous. With just a single google search, you would be able to find out that it belonged to me. Why would I need an introduction?”

Li Ying was a bit speechless as she heard this.

The man’s confidence level was really out of this world. How could someone be like this?!

Zhihao and Li Ling’s faces cringed up at the same time as they heard the man say something that they would definitely expect the man to say.

“But I really didn’t know you,” Li Ying wasn’t polite at all as she spoke, “I only got to know you when you became brother Zhihao’s friend.”

Wang GuiYing felt as if he had just been stabbed with a sword and almost wanted to spit out blood but when he opened his mouth to say something, he was suddenly interrupted by a loud voice coming from all the speakers inside the building.

“Eh?” Zhihao opened his mouth in confusion.

The broadcast stopped and the players immediately turned their phones on to look at the screen that had now changed. It was no longer showing the GPS map of the city but instead, it was showing the floor planning design of the building and there was a small red arrow showing them exactly where they were standing. On top of the red arrow, there was a ticking timer, counting down from ten minutes.

“Nine minutes and forty seconds remaining,” Liang Feng muttered out loud as he gulped in worry.

Li Ling zoomed in on his phone screen as he tried to pick up any clues, “I don’t get it…”

Zhihao, “What?”

Li Ling pointed at the phone screen, “This building has exactly eleven floors according to this map, but…” Li Ling pursed his lips as he dragged Zhihao near the staircase, “Look here. According to this one, this building has ten floors.”

“Eh?” Zhihao’s eyes widened as he suddenly glanced between his phone and the floor plan that was pasted near the entrance of the emergency staircase, “How did you know?”

“When we were driving here. I counted the floors.”
