There could only be one person who would actually bother counting the floors in a situation where he was racing against time and Zhihao couldn’t help but be a little amazed.

The rest of the players also walked up to them to see the confusing situation.

“Then this floor plan is fake?” It was Li Ying who questioned but her brother just shook his head as he held up his phone and put it side by side to the floor map.

“This map is almost identical so I don’t think it’s a fake,” Li Ling responded as he pointed it out.

Zhihao bit his lip as he wondered what the game wanted them to do with this map.

“Then let’s go to the missing floor,” Liang Feng spoke up as he suggested.

Li Ling and Zhihao turned to face the man in unison.

Tian Xifeng, “What do you mean?”

Liang Feng pointed to the floor that was on the map displayed on the screen but not on the actual floor map that was pasted on the wall, “This might as well be our first clue. Didn’t the system say that there were hints on our phones? Let’s check this one out first.”

On the map pasted on the wall, the underground parking was supposed to be the last floor but on their phone screens, they could see another floor right below this underground floor.

Li Ling frowned but still nodded as he responded, “Then let’s go.”

“Wait…” Li Ying muttered as she counted the number of players, “Where are the other players? There are only seven of us here.”

Zhihao glanced at the main entrance of the building that was completely empty by now, “They were standing there but I guess they already went to search for the yellow tickets.”

Li Ying couldn’t help but be a little disappointed as she stated, “If we have more people to search together, we might be able to find the yellow tickets sooner.”

Zhihao shrugged his shoulder as he replied, “But they ran away. We already have seven members so we won’t have a problem.”

Li Ying seemed to want to disagree but she still bit her lip and refused to say anything as a response to that. She didn’t care much about the other players, she only cared to see where Huang Zhen had disappeared off to. That boy didn’t even greet her when she came and ran away as soon as possible. This was unacceptable!

“Let’s just go. We only have nine minutes remaining,” Wang GuiYing informed as he glanced at his phone and saw the timer ticking as fast as his heartbeat.

Li Ling nodded as he heard this, “Let’s go.”

The group started to move. The floor they were trying to get to had only one entrance and surprisingly enough, this entrance was on the top floor of the building.

They found an elevator and pressed the button, waiting to see if they could get to the top floor faster with the help of the elevator, however, the elevator had already been locked and was no longer in use.

“Damn it…” Li Ling cursed as he immediately turned back and headed for the stairs, “We’re gonna have to run.”

“Are you kidding me?!” Tian Xifeng cried out in shock, “I’m wearing heels!”

Li Ling pursed his lips and didn’t even bother looking at the woman as he responded, “Then just take them off.”

“…” Tian Xifeng was a stubborn woman and it was already clear that she’d twist her ankle by walking in heels rather than taking them off and climbing up the stairs.

“We don’t have time to waste,” Zhihao pointed out the obvious as he ran after Li Ling and skipped steps, running up as fast as he could.

Wang GuiYing and Zhou Xinyi unhesitantly followed behind the two and Li Ying ignored Tian Xifeng as she ran up after the group.

Liang Feng was the only one who was willing to keep the woman company as she tried to run up in heels but he also didn’t look to be too happy about it.

“Tian Xifeng, just take them off. If you want, you can wear my shoes instead.”

“And what? You’ll run in heels?” Tian Xifeng snapped.

“…”  Liang Feng pursed his lips and said nothing as a response.

“Damn it…” Tian Xifeng cursed as she looked ahead at the five people that had already left her behind, “They didn’t even wait for me!”

Liang Feng sighed as he rolled his eyes and walked up the stairs with the woman, “Why would they wait for you? It’s not like we have all day.”

Tian Xifeng frowned but didn’t say anything back since she also knew that what the man said was right.

Liang Feng bit his lip nervously as he looked at the ticking timer on his phone.

A whole minute passed and he could no longer take it. He wasn’t the sort of man who would leave someone behind so there was no chance he was going to do it now by leaving Tian Xifeng behind and running up ahead, but with her current speed, he was afraid that they would never be able to reach the top floor.

Liang Feng sighed as he spoke up, “Please excuse my rudeness.”

“Eh?” Tian Xifeng tried to turn around to look at the man but just as she did, she felt herself getting lifted from the ground and thrown on Liang Feng’s shoulder like she were nothing more than just a sack of potatoes.

“Let’s go!” Liang Feng announced as he carried the girl and ran up the stairs.

“Wait!! Put me down!! What the hell are you doing?!” Tian Xifeng complained as she tried to struggle to get out of the man’s grip but Liang Feng seemed to be much stronger than he looked.

“I’ll put you down when we get there,” Liang Feng responded as he continued to run up the stairs and ignored Tian Xifeng.

Tian Xifeng was shocked and a bit angry but she eventually gave up complaining or resisting as she just let the man carry her all the way up.

If he wanted to become a human elevator and break his own spine, who was she to stop him?

In another few minutes, Liang Feng seemed to be breathing heavily due to exhaustion but he still managed to climb all the way up to the top floor, and just as he did, he threw the woman down.

“There!” Liang Feng announced as he immediately grabbed his knees and tried to calm his breathing down.

“Ouch!” Tian Xifeng cried out as she rubbed her butt, “You could have put me down nicely!”

Liang Feng took a minute to control his breathing as he straightened his back and looked at the woman, “And why would I do that?”

“…” Tian Xifeng’s face cringed up as she glared back at the man and commented, “With that attitude, you’ll never be able to find a wife! You don’t even have one romantic bone in your body, do you?”

“Eh?” Liang Feng looked to be confused as he tilted his head and looked back at the woman, “Why would I be looking for a wife and why would I need to have a romantic bone in my body?”

Tian Xifeng rolled her eyes as she climbed up to her feet and brushed her clothes before muttering, “My fault… You’d rather die alone.”

Liang Feng had somehow managed to hear her muttering so he chuckled softly as he asked, “Then would you like to die together with me?”

Tian Xifeng unconsciously faltered a step back in shock as she immediately reacted strongly, “Why the hell would I wanna die with you?! Go die alone! Don’t curse me like that!”

Liang Feng laughed as he heard this. Somehow, for the first time in his life, he actually found this woman to be a bit bearable.

Suddenly there was a voice of a girl coughing that interrupted them and made them both look at the girl.

“Would you two stop flirting at a moment like this? Even my brother is serious right now,” Li Ying commented with her face cringed up as she looked at the two in disgust.

Tian Xifeng’s cheeks turned red as she defended herself, “Who the hell was flirting?!”

Li Ying rolled her eyes but didn’t bother fighting or arguing with the woman over this.

Liang Feng stepped forward and asked as he looked at Li Ling, “What are you doing?”

Li Ling didn’t bother turning to look at the man as he answered, “Trying to break the passcode.”

“The passcode?” Liang Feng frowned as he looked at the closed door.

“Turns out that the system really hates us. The passage to the lowest floor is locked behind this door,” Li Ying explained as she looked at Li Ling who was constantly pressing in numbers on the door lock panel.

“Do you have a hint or are you randomly trying out codes?” Liang Feng asked.

“Random,” Li Ling answered in a single word.
