Liang Feng gulped as he looked around trying to find something heavy.

When he couldn’t find anything, he decided that the chair was also a good option so he picked up the chair and went towards one side of the wall before slamming the chair on the wall.

At first, it looked to be truly fruitless, however, after a few hits, there was a dent on the wall and it was revealed that the wall was made out of wood and it wasn’t exactly a secure wall.

Liang Feng stepped back and took a deep breath in as he calmed himself down before using all his energy to hit the wall once again and this time, there was a hole that was made by the chair.

Liang Feng gulped as he threw the chair aside and peeked through the hole. Just as he had expected, there was a staircase right behind this wall. A secret staircase hidden just like this secret surveillance room.

The reason why Liang Feng knew there was something there was because of the map that he had thoroughly analyzed. The map of the building had this certain area completely blank and it made no sense for Liang Feng when he looked at it.

Why would the building have a missing portion on one of its underground floors?

There must have been something there and the first guess he had was an elevator since the spot was just big enough for an elevator but now that he had broken this wooden wall, it was revealed that it wasn’t an elevator but a staircase instead.

Liang Feng gritted his teeth as he picked up the chair once again and continued to hit the wall, making the small hole bigger and bigger till it was big enough for a human to fit inside it.

He immediately threw the chair away and stepped into the staircase. He turned on his smartphone and used its screen to light the stairs as he climbed up.

In just a few seconds, he was already at the top of the stairs that was sealed off under a tile.

Liang Feng really wanted to curse as he kept his phone down on the stair and elbowed the tile a few times to remove it.

He was an intelligent man but he wasn’t as strong as ironman so it was only natural that his elbow started to bleed immediately and it definitely started hurting as well.

Liang Feng cursed under his breath as he tried his best to push down the pain and continued to hit the cover.

With just a few tries and a lot of struggles, the cover finally came loose and the tile busted open.

Liang Feng pushed it off and grabbed his phone before climbing up to the parking lot where Zhihao and Li Ling already had their cars started.

Liang Feng gulped as he ran towards the car and shouted, “Is everyone here?”

“Get in, idiot!” Tian Xifeng peeked her head outside the car window and shouted back at Liang Feng, “Everyone else is in. You’re the last one.”

Li Ying opened the door and Li Ling who was driving immediately turned the car and started driving away at a slow speed.

Liang Feng increased his speed as he ran and caught up to the car. He grabbed on to Li Ying’s hand and climbed inside the car before slamming the door shut behind him.

Liang Feng immediately looked around to see who else was here and it seemed that Li Ying had already guessed this so she spoke up.

“Zhihao is driving the other car. Wang GuiYing and Zhou Xinyi are with him. You are stuck with us again.”

Liang Feng chuckled dryly as he heard this, “That sounds good to me.”

Tian Xifeng’s face cringed up as she heard this. She squinted at the man as she unhesitantly voiced out her thoughts, “Be honest, Gege. You have fallen for my charms, have you not?”

“…” Liang Feng didn’t know if he wanted to laugh or cry as he heard this. Just when he was about to laugh it off and give a response, he suddenly felt a jab of pain emitting from his elbow.

“Ah!” Liang Feng exclaimed as he grabbed his elbow and looked at the wound. His shirt was torn up and reddened due to the blood.

Tian Xifeng frowned and the playfulness from her face seemed to fade away instantly as she leaned in and looked at the wound, “You’re really an idiot. Why would you go and get yourself injured at a time like this.”

Liang Feng rolled his eyes as he heard the woman, “You talk as if I did it on purpose.”

Li Ying pushed the woman back as she suddenly exclaimed, “Damn you! I feel like a third wheel!”

Li Ying ducked her head and stood up slightly as she moved over and pushed Tian Xifeng towards Liang Feng before taking the window seat.

Tian Xifeng didn’t look to be pleased but she didn’t complain about it either.

Li Ying folded her hands and ignored the two as she looked outside the window and enjoyed the scenery of the developed city that looked as interesting as always.

Tian Xifeng grabbed onto Liang Feng’s hand and pulled it as she examined the injury before questioning, “Li Ling Gege, do you have any first aid inside this car?”

Li Ling didn’t bother taking his eyes off of the road as he replied, “Under the seat on your right.”

Tian Xifeng nodded as she immediately got down and looked under the seat before pulling out a white-colored box.

Liang Feng’s pupils seemed to contract and he looked to be unimpressed as he saw this, “You make it look as if my life is in danger. It’s just a small scratch, is it not?”

Tian Xifeng frowned as she looked up at the man’s face and repeated his words, “Just a scratch?”

Liang Feng nodded unhesitantly as he didn’t let any pain show on his face, “It’s just a scratch It’ll heal in a day or- Ah!” He was forced to cry out in pain as he felt Tian Xifeng pushing the wound with a cotton bud that was dipped in some disinfectant.

“Is it still a scratch?” Tian Xifeng asked with a smile that looked to be wicked.

Liang Feng had his mouth open in shock as he looked at her.

“You’re really unpredictable,” Liang Feng commented after a minute as the shock sunk in.

“I’ll take that as a compliment,” Tian Xifeng beamed as she looked down at the wound and cleaned off all the blood as fast as she could.

Since they didn’t have too much time on their hands, Tian Xifeng didn’t bother wrapping it up perfectly as it was supposed to be done. She just cleaned the wound and tapped on some medicine before tightly wrapping it with a piece of torn shirt that she had torn off of Liang Feng’s shirt.

Liang Feng’s eyes widened slightly as he saw the woman tearing his shirt. He really couldn’t believe it.

“Do you know how expensive this shirt is?” Liang Feng questioned as he looked at the woman.

Tian Xifeng pursed her lips as she looked back at him, “Is it more expensive than your life. If not then please shut up.”

For such a thing to come out of Tian Xifeng’s mouth… It was certainly a bit shocking.

“You might not be that big of a gold-digger as I thought you were,” Liang Feng commented.

“That doesn’t make me feel any better,” Tian Xifeng responded without even bothering to look at the man’s face. She tied the ends together and slapped his elbow as she exclaimed, “There! All done!”

Liang Feng frowned as he tried to move his hand, “Why does it feel like you cut off my blood circulation.”

Tian Xifeng smacked the man’s head as she responded, “Learn to be a little more appreciative, would you?!”

Liang Feng looked to be a bit offended as he rubbed his head.

The car came to a sudden stop and it threw everyone forward with its sudden shift in momentum.

Liang Feng’s eyes widened as he reacted fast enough and pulled Tian Xifeng back, saving her from breaking open her head by hitting it on the seat in front.

Tian Xifeng gulped as she looked back at the man and said nothing more.

“We’re here!” Li Ling announced as he got out of the car.

Liang Feng and Tian Xifeng also snapped out of whatever moment they were having just now.

Liang Feng coughed as he opened the door and got out first.

Li Ying was much alike her brother as she acted as if these two didn’t exist at all.

Tian Xifeng gulped as she snapped out of her thoughts and got out of the car.

She looked around to see that Zhihao had been faster than them.

Li Ling smirked as he saw Zhihao waiting for him, “A-Zhi, you really know how to drive. You even beat me to it.”

Zhihao chuckled as he heard this, “Gege, it’s my anxiety driving, not me.”
