Everyone wondered what brought this change of decision in Zhihao’s mind but nobody dared question it out loud.

Tian Xifeng sighed as she stood up and patted her clothes before walking towards Zhihao, “Gege, why did you want the phone?”

Instead of giving her a straight answer to the question, Zhihao turned the phone and showed her the screen.

Tian Xifeng’s eyes immediately widened in shock as she muttered, “This…?!”

Zhihao nodded his head as he explained, “Hunters can locate both players and other hunters.”

“Did you already know this?” Tian Xifeng questioned in shock.

Zhihao shook his head this time as he answered honestly, “I wasn’t certain. It was merely a guess..”

It was merely a guess that Zhihao was sure about. And since this guess was right then his guess about the hunter’s identity was also going to be right.

Zhihao frowned as he glanced at the hunter.

He knew what was behind that mask so he decided that it was better not to let her take it off.

Since she wanted to keep her identity hidden, he would naturally not force her to go through the embarrassment.

He sighed as he took out handcuffs from his pocket and moved forward to lock the girl to the side handle.

Li Ling frowned as he saw this and asked, “Where did you get those handcuffs from?”

“This?” Zhihao responded casually with a small proud smile, “I picked them up from the inventory.”

Li Ling’s mouth opened slightly in awe as he heard this.

He had almost forgotten that Zhihao was the only player who fell for the system’s tactics and still managed to get to the competition arena on time even after making a stop at one of those inventories.

“Then,” Li Ling’s eyes suddenly lit up as he questioned, “Did you get more items?”

He looked to be filled with energy as he enthusiastically looked at Zhihao and waited for the man to answer.

Zhihao thought about it for a minute before he responded, “I did end up picking whatever I thought would be necessary.”

Li Ling gulped as he suddenly felt as if there was a golden halo on top of Zhihao’s head. This man… Why did he suddenly look so impressive?!

Since it was Zhihao who had picked up the items, Li Ling could rest assured that everything the man had was probably going to be of big help to them since it was Mastermo who had calculated their future usage.

This handcuff was clearly a perfect example. If the other players had been the ones who paid a visit to the inventory then they would have probably not even batted an eye to the handcuff and would have surely picked up other weapons that had more attacking power. Only Mastermo would be smart enough to pick up the handcuff and even Li Ling wasn’t sure if he would end up picking this item first.

“So what’s the plan now?” Tian Xifeng asked even though she already had a general idea of what they were going to do next.

Zhihao, “What else? We go and hunt down all the hunters.”

“So we kill them before they kill us?” Wang GuiYing questioned with a frown.

Zhihao shook his head as he denied, “That’s not it. We do not kill them. We disarm them and restrain them but we do not kill them. Killing has to be the last method we’d use to prevent them from attacking us.”

“How much time is left?” Li Ling asked as he looked down at his phone.

“Two minutes only,” Liang Feng spoke up as he answered, “We do not have that much time left. Maybe we can just survive this level without having to do anything.”

Zhihao frowned as he shook his head and stood up, “We can’t afford to do that. There are only two minutes left but a lot can happen in those two minutes. The hunters clearly know where we are and one of the hunters is moving towards us as we speak. If that guy gets close to us and manages to shoot us before the time is up, the game is over for us.”

Li Ling nodded as he agreed with Zhihao and added, “That’s not it. Li Ying and Jiangshi are also missing. We don’t know if they can manage to remain safe or not.”

Zhihao couldn’t help but gulp as he first contemplated on whether it would be appropriate for him to say something at this moment but in the end, he still ended up voicing it out, “Li Ling, they are certainly safe for now, but…”

Li Ling’s eyebrows creased together in worry as he heard that ‘but’. He stepped closer to Zhihao and looked at the hunter’s phone that was held in the man’s hand.

“One of the hunters is currently after them,” Zhihao answered at the same time as Li Ling looked at the screen that showed the distance between the two teenagers and the hunter that was sneaking up on them.

Two minutes was a short span of time but it was also rather long considering the fact that someone with a gun could shoot all the players within those two minutes.

“We cannot afford to wait around and hope for the best,” Zhihao spoke up and he looked to be determined as he added, “We need to save them as well.”

Tian Xifeng suddenly frowned as she spoke up, “Mastermo, I get what you’re trying to say but… Since Jiangshi took Li Ying and ran away, don’t you think he also had a plan of his own?”

Zhihao nodded as a response when he heard this, “He would naturally have a plan but we cannot fully rely on that plan. They are kids so how can we trust them completely?”

Li Ling bobbed his head up and down as he agreed with Zhihao, “I trust them. They are certainly too intelligent for their age but she’s my sister. I still want to make sure that I do everything I can to keep her safe.”

Tian Xifeng didn’t look to be too happy with this plan but when she saw the look in Li Ling’s eyes, she couldn’t say anything as a response.

Liang Feng sighed as he nodded and looked at Zhihao, “Then which hunter do we take down first?”

Zhihao turned his head to face the man as he answered, “Let’s first handle the one that’s approaching us.”

Wang GuiYing also spoke up as he informed, “This one was well-taught in martial arts so I’m sure the other two also have some skills.”

Zhihao gulped as he heard this, “If the other two are better than her then we would have a bit of trouble but it’s still not something that we should worry too much about. There are seven of us here and only two of the hunters left. The odds are in our favor.”

Liang Feng also looked to be on Zhihao’s side as he nodded and asked, “So how do we attack?”

Zhihao seemed to have already come up with a plan in his mind so he carefully looked at the other members before saying his plan out loud, “Wang GuiYing goes first. Since he’s the one that can fight the best among us, let him go first.”

Zhihao turned to face Wang GuiYing as he instructed, “Trash, you attack the hunter first and try your best to distract him. Be careful not to get shot and it seems that the panda mask is limiting their range of sight so use that to your fullest advantage.”

Wang GuiYing nodded his head as he understood what Zhihao was trying to tell him.

Zhihao turned to face Li Ling as he instructed, “Gege, you move in second.”

Li Ling was a bit shocked to see that Zhihao was willing to let him act second since he was sure that Zhihao would try his best to avoid involving Li Ling in this fighting plan at all costs since he wanted to keep the man safe.

“Are you willing?” Zhihao asked first to make sure that it was okay with Li Ling.

Li Ling gulped in worry as he nodded his head, “What do you want me to do?”

Zhihao sighed in relief as he heard this, “You have to confiscate the weapon. That’s all. I don’t want you to fight or anything. Just confiscate the weapon from the hunter and stand far away from him.”

Li Ling didn’t know if he wanted to laugh or cry as he heard this. In the end, his initial guess was somewhat right. Zhihao really was giving Li Ling the easiest job that was also safe for him.

“After that, Zhou Xinyi and I will both move in and help Trash,” Zhihao added as he looked at Zhou Xinyi, waiting for the man’s consent.

Zhou Xinyi nodded his head in understanding as he heard this, “Alright.”

“Great!” Zhihao exclaimed, “Let’s get moving now!”

“No! Wait!’ Tian Xifeng suddenly interjected as she caught Zhihao’s attention, “What do we do?”

A small smile crept up on Zhihao’s face as he heard this question, “Do you want to help too?”
