Tian Xifeng suddenly felt a little uneasy as she looked at the mischievous expression on Zhihao’s face that made it look as if the man was planning nothing good in his mind.

She gulped as she cautiously questioned, “What do you want us to do?”

Zhihao’s smile deepened and he looked to be pleased with this question. He lifted the phone and showed the screen as he spoke, “You go after the second hunter.”

Tian Xifeng gulped as she immediately understood why she had that foreboding feeling in her stomach after seeing Zhihao’s wicked smile.

“Are you unwilling?” Zhihao tilted his head as he asked mockingly, “Liang Feng and Kaoru would also be going with you and we would join you guys as soon as we restrain this hunter.”

Tian Xifeng blinked as she remained silent.

Liang Feng, who heard this, stepped up from behind her and nodded as he looked at Zhihao, “Sounds good.”

Zhihao smiled in turn before turning back to look at Wang GuiYing, “We can move as soon as you’re ready..”

Wang GuiYing sighed as he rolled his shoulders that were tense due to him restraining that hunter who was struggling with all of her energy.

Zhihao looked at the phone screen once again before turning to face Liang Feng as he spoke, “Can you memorize this?”

Liang Feng looked at the screen and nodded in turn as he replied, “We’ll use the same path to go after the hunter.”

Zhihao, “If you can’t find the hunter then go through here and try to get to Jiangshi and Li Ying, okay? Since the hunter is after them if the hunter had moved then he would probably use this same corridor.”

Liang Feng looked to have understood it instantly as he gave Zhihao a firm nod of confirmation before turning around to face Tian Xifeng and Kaoru, “If you don’t want to come along then you can stay behind and keep a lookout on this hunter.”

Tian Xifeng rolled her eyes and scoffed as she heard this, “Liang Feng Gege, if we don’t go then you’re as good as dead.”

Liang Feng chuckled as he heard this, “Then I’ll take that as you’re willing to go?”

Tian Xifeng clicked her tongue and folded her hands as she said nothing in response and quietly agreed to it.

Liang Feng turned to Kaoru who was still shocked from all the happenings, “Are you okay?”

Kaoru gulped as she turned her head up and looked at the man who had asked her this question.

Liang Feng raised his eyebrows as he waited for the girl to say something as a response.

Kaoru hesitantly nodded her head as she finally snapped out of it and answered, “I’ll be willing to go.”

Liang Feng smiled thinly, “Then it’s decided. I’ll go first and try to disarm the hunter. You both act afterward, okay?”

Tian Xifeng and Kaoru nodded in unison as they agreed to the plan.

Liang Feng turned back to look at Zhihao and bowed as he spoke up, “All the best.”

“All the best to you too,” Zhihao smiled as he politely wished the man back and watched him lead the other team away to the second hunter.

Once they were out of sight, Zhihao frowned slightly as he wondered, ‘Is there something I forgot?’

He had the feeling that there was something important he was forgetting but Zhihao’s brain wasn’t performing at its best because of which he clearly didn’t realize the fact that he had forgotten to give them one of the handcuffs that need to be used in order to restrain the hunter.

“Let’s go!” Wang GuiYing announced as he finally prepared himself mentally to go through another fight.

Although he was good at fighting, he still hated going through that much trouble so it was only natural that there was an unexcited frown on his face as he cautiously made his way towards the hunter that was slowly approaching them, just a corridor away.

Li Ling gave Zhihao a nod before following after Wang GuiYing and Zhou Xinyi also followed after them, leaving Zhihao to be the last one in the group.

Zhihao glanced at the hunter who was locked and sighed as he spoke up, “You better not try something funny.”

The hunter chuckled and her chuckle sounded to be filled with contradicting emotions which made it sound extremely unpleasant and haunting, “Mastermo! You know it, don’t you?”

“Hmm?” Zhihao’s eyes narrowed down on the woman as he heard this.

The hunter lifted her head to look at Zhihao but all Zhihao could see was the panda mask that was stained with the hunter’s blood.

“You know what waits for you in the end. Not all of you are going to make it out alive. You would all eventually turn against each other and to win, you’ll start to kill each other,” From her voice alone, Zhihao could guess that she had a wicked smirk on her face as she said this, “They are your competition who would turn their backs on you and try to kill you in the end so why not turn your back first? Why not kill them off first?”

Zhihao suddenly chuckled as he heard her complete the suggestion that sounded like nonsense to his ears, “And what about you? Why is another player like you working for the LHA?”

The girl was silent as she heard this and her body seemed to have suddenly gone tense and numb as if she had never expected Zhihao to say something like this.

Zhihao smirked as he saw such a reaction that was to be expected from this hunter, “Did you think nobody would find out? Well, it doesn’t matter what you think and what you don’t. You shouldn’t underestimate me too much. I might not be able to save everyone but I would definitely try my best to save all of them and you can rest assured that I would never be the one to betray them first.”

The hunter was probably stunned speechless but Zhihao didn’t even wait for her response as he turned and followed after the others.

He looked determined and one could not detect a single movement of hesitation or lie in his words

This man was really saying that he would rather be stabbed than stab someone else first.

Unbeknownst to Zhihao, a tear trailed down the hunter’s cheeks as she saw such determination in Zhihao’s eyes. Because of his resolution, she felt self-hatred for not being more like him. Why was it that she got tempted away by the free offer to climb up the ranks and become one of the top ten players by just killing a few of those top players?

Wang GuiYing hid behind a corner as he peeked at the hunter but it seemed that he had been a bit too careless to consider that the hunter also had a phone that could track down their locations and hence, his plan to sneak up on the man failed immediately as the hunter opened fire on them and calmly approached the corner.

“Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!” Wang GuiYing cursed under his breath as he tried to retreat but his back hit something hard.

Wang GuiYing flinched as he instantly snapped his head around to see what it was.

Zhou Xinyi smirked as he looked into Wang GuiYing’s eyes and questioned, “Scared?”

Wang GuiYing gulped as he realized that the hard object was actually Zhou Xinyi’s sturdy chest. Instead of giving an answer to the man’s question, Wang GuiYing tilted his head as he asked, “Did you grow taller?”

Zhou Xinyi frowned but said nothing as a response.

Wang GuiYing broke out into a smile in the very next second as he straightened his back and got back his composure, “Xinyi, who do you think I am? Do I get scared that easily?”

“…” Zhou Xinyi didn’t bother giving a response to such a self-confident reply.

Wang GuiYing held the fire extinguisher up as he exclaimed, “Just watch me.”

He didn’t even wait for a response from Zhou Xinyi as he fearlessly turned the corner and faced the raining bullets head-on first.

Zhou Xinyi’s eyes widened in worry for a second as he saw such a stupid act of showing courage.

“Trash!” Zhihao called out in worry and shock as his hands reached out to stop the man but he was a few seconds late as the man was already out of his reach.

Wang GuiYing held the fire extinguisher in front of him and tried his best to dodge all the bullets, however, this hunter seemed to be a much better shooter than the previous one. As soon as the hunter saw Wang GuiYing rushing out towards him, instead of panicking and aiming around tactlessly, the hunter actually pointed the gun right at Wang GuiYing and pulled the trigger with no hesitation.
