What?! The Gamemaster And The Top Player Are Dating?! - Chapter 232
If it hadn’t been for Wang GuiYing’s inhumanly fast responses, he really would have become a corpse with multiple holes drilled into his whole body. However, even after having avoided most of the bullets, he was still not able to avoid all of them.
One of the bullets hit his leg but Wang GuiYing only winced at the pain before ignoring it altogether and throwing the fire extinguisher at the hunter’s arm that was raised to aim the gun at him.
The hunter was not able to do anything as the fire extinguisher almost broke his hand and led him to drop his weapon.
Wang GuiYing kicked the weapon back and continued to fight the hunter in close-hand combat.
As soon as the gun was kicked back, Li Ling moved in on the scene and picked up the gun before standing at a certain distance and aiming the gun at the hunter threateningly without shooting.
Wang GuiYing cursed in his mind for being so reckless since it was only now that he had realized how much he had underestimated this hunter.
The previous hunter was unskilled with guns and although she had learned martial arts, she was still not on the same level as Wang GuiYing, however, this hunter was really different from her.
He was good with guns and it made Wang GuiYing think that the hunter was probably going to be easy to beat once the gun was thrown away, but only after engaging in hand-to-hand combat did he shockingly realize that a weapon on this man was nothing more than an accessory.
This man was much better at fighting than Wang GuiYing and as a result, Wang GuiYing immediately started to see a defeat.
For someone simply watching this fight, it couldn’t be cleared who was winning, but for Wang GuiYing, it was clear that the hunter was at an advantage. If this fight were to continue for any longer, then Wang GuiYing would certainly see a defeat in the end.
“Damn it!” Wang GuiYing cursed as he ducked his head and avoided the fist that swung at his face. He gulped as he tried to flip and kick the hunter’s abdomen but the hunter caught his leg and easily twisted it to throw Wang GuiYing off balance.
Wang GuiYing struggled to get his ankle out of the man’s grip and took a few steps back to put some distance in between them.
“You’re good,” Wang GuiYing gritted out a compliment before jumping up and throwing a punch at the hunter.
The hunter moved aside and avoided the punch but it seemed that Wang GuiYing had another trick tucked up his sleeve. He tried to knee the man’s face and by masking his actions as just a simple punch, he was able to grab the man’s head and hold it in place, not letting him avoid it this time.
The hunter got hit but it didn’t even seem to affect him as he simply faltered a step back and caught hold of Wang GuiYing’s back before slamming him to the ground.
“Are you done?” The hunter asked, his voice sounded to be of a man who was around the same age as Wang GuiYing and it made Wang GuiYing smirk as he wrapped his legs around the man’s neck and restrained his arm, putting the man in a chokehold.
“Caught you, bastard,” Wang GuiYing proudly commented.
It seemed that the punch was just a cover-up for the kick and the kick was just a cover-up for this chokehold.
With the use of his thinking and skills, Wang GuiYing thought that he was able to trick the man and turn the fight over to his side, but his smirk didn’t last long as the man somehow managed to elbow Wang GuiYing’s stomach and with just a hit alone, Wang GuiYing almost felt as if his soul had floated out of his body.
Wang GuiYing’s chokehold came loose and the hunter took this opportunity to turn the tides of the fight once again.
Wang GuiYing gasped for air and the hunter stood up, unbuttoning the buttons on the cuff of his white shirt that had been completed wrinkled due to their intense fight.
“Are you sure you caught me?” The hunter’s voice sounded to be mocking Wang GuiYing.
“Don’t move or I’ll shoot!” Li Ling who was instructed to do nothing suddenly shouted out as he kept his gun pointed at the hunter.
Zhihao clenched his fist as he saw Li Ling doing something that Zhihao had clearly warned him not to do.
The hunter chuckled as he looked at Li Ling’s threat, “Do you have the guts to kill me?”
Li Ling suddenly felt his patience running low as he heard the man challenging him.
He pursed his lips as he aimed the gun down and shot the man’s leg, “I do.”
The hunter seemed to have not expected such a spontaneous reaction at all so he didn’t even get the time to react and save himself first. Before he knew it, the bullet had already hit his calf and the hunter immediately crouched down and cried out in pain.
“You bastard! Son of a *$%^#%[email protected]#Y&^$%^&%” A string of profanities fell out of his mouth and at this moment, both Zhihao and Zhou Xinyi finally decided to enter the scene.
The hunter was shot but when he saw the other two approaching, he somehow was still able to push himself off the ground.
This hunter… was quite a pain in the butt.
Wang GuiYing stood up and rolled his shoulder before attacking the hunter once again and this time, Zhou Xinyi joined him.
When Wang GuiYing saw that Zhou Xinyi had finally entered the scene and decided to act, he knew that this fight was already over.
The hunter probably had a chance of winning against Wang GuiYing in a one-on-one fight but with Zhou Xinyi joining hands with Wang GuiYing, that chance of winning had disappeared like a bubble.
It had to be known that although Zhou Xinyi was not as good as Wang GuiYing in a physical fight, he was still not considered to be too worse. And although Wang GuiYing was pretty good in a fight, it didn’t make him invincible.
They both had their own weak points, However, when the two fought together, they were to be feared even by the demons of hell.
It was their specialty.
After all, Wang GuiYing and Zhou Xinyi were also known as the duo from hell.
Just as Wang GuiYing had concluded, the fight was over before it even began and the hunter had no way out this time as both Zhou Xinyi and Wang GuiYing held him in a chokehold and one of them even put pressure on the bullet wound that was on the hunter’s leg.
Zhihao sighed as he crouched down and handcuffed the hunter to the nearest pole.
This time, he didn’t bother trying to unmask the hunter nor did he waste any time in talking nonsense as he simply turned around and walked towards Li Ling.
“I told you not to do anything, didn’t I?” Zhihao scolded the man.
Li Ling gulped and looked to be a little guilty and this expression on his face just made Zhihao’s heart melt instantly.
Zhihao sighed as he raised his hand and rubbed the man’s head, “I’m just worried about you. Be more careful next time.”
Li Ling broke out into a smile as he nodded his head even though he wasn’t really sure if he would listen to Zhihao the next time as well.
Zhihao turned to glance at Wang GuiYing and Zhou Xinyi who were still torturing the poor hunter, “Let’s go. One more left.”
Wang GuiYing smiled as he immediately stood up and skipped towards Zhihao happily, “Honey, wasn’t I cool just now?”
Zhihao almost coughed on empty air as he heard this question while Li Ling sent the man a glare.
Wang GuiYing chuckled as he turned to look at Li Ling, “What is it, little lover? Are you feeling jealous?”
He was clearly teasing Li Ling but Li Ling only rolled his eyes and looked away without bothering to give this man a response.
Wang GuiYing opened his mouth to say something more but Zhou Xinyi suddenly stood behind him, covering the man’s mouth with his hand.
“Let’s go,” Zhou Xinyi successfully shut Wang GuiYing up and looked at Zhihao as he gave a nod.
Zhihao looked down at his phone where it displayed the location of the third hunter and the other three players who seemed to have already attacked the hunter.
“We need to hurry,” Zhihao broke out into a sprint as he ran through the corridors and headed for the location of the third hunter.
They only had about a minute left for the competition to get over.
In just a few seconds, they were able to reach the site where Tian Xifeng was fighting against the hunter ad Liang Feng was lying on the floor, completely defeated.
“Eh?” Zhihao muttered in shock as he wondered what had happened here.
Kaoru’s eyes lit up as she saw the backup arrive, “Mastermo! BBtrash! You’re here!”
