[The time you have saved shall be returned back to you in the future and the time you have wasted shall forever remain wasted.]
[One of you was not able to continue with us on this journey.]
[Panic helps no one and in a game, the most important thing is for you to stay alive. You first need to survive in order to win. It’s a step to victory that cannot be skipped.]
[Andyzz, we wish you better luck next time.]
Zhihao almost wanted to laugh as he heard this.
That guy was already dead so what was the use of luck when there was going to be no next time for the man?
[We’ve held great expectations from you and the remaining players have managed to not only meet our expectations but have also managed to perform even better!]
[The hard work done by our master has come to bear fruits and the hard work you put in right now would also bear sweet fruits for you in the future.]
[Thank you for choosing Alvi as your guide and thank you for giving our beloved game a try -a note from our master.]
[With that said, I’m sure you are all very fired up to enter the next competition so we do not wish to steal any more time from you.]
[We shall now begin the next competition once you reach your destination arena.]
[Please turn on your smartphones and look for directions.]
[You have two minutes to get to your next destination.]
[You have unlimited potential and we give you a platform to challenge yourself!]
[All the best, dear players! May luck be on your side!]
“Two minutes?!” Wang GuiYing cried out in shock as he looked down at his phone and saw the running timer.
Zhihao gulped as he carefully looked at the map on the phone before speaking up, “We can make it if we hurry.”
Li Ling furrowed his eyebrows, looking a bit unhappy with the stressful time limit but he still nodded his head as he agreed with Zhihao, “Let’s go.”
They didn’t have much time, to begin with so they didn’t dare waste any more time talking and used the time they had to run out of the stadium.
On the way out, they came across the three hunters who had taken off their masks and seemed to be waiting for the players.
“Damn it… What do they want to know?!” Tian Xifeng clicked her tongue as she questioned in a tone that was clearly offensive.
Zhihao frowned as he looked at the hunters carefully before speaking up, “Don’t mind them. I don’t think they are here to cause more trouble.”
Tian Xifeng didn’t look to have believed Zhihao but she still listened to the man and decided to ignore them.
Just as Zhihao had said, the hunters didn’t try to stop them nor did they try to argue about anything. In fact, when the players were close enough, the hunters actually bowed their heads down at a ninety-degree angle and apologized loudly, “We are sorry for causing you trouble, and thank you for saving us.”
They looked to be sincere with it but no player bothered to stop in order to talk to them.
Apologizing wasn’t enough since they had no justification for their actions. The players could sense that the hunters felt guilty but feeling guilty wasn’t enough. They had already done something that they shouldn’t have and it was something that could not be undone now.
The players ignored the hunters and continued to run as they headed for the two cars that were parked outside.
The group divided into two halves and while some got inside Zhihao’s car, the others got inside Li Ling’s car.
Li Ling hadn’t really turned to see how Zhihao seated everyone in his sports car the last time but this time, he managed to catch a glimpse of it, and just as he did, he almost wanted to break out laughing.
A sportscar was especially known for having a seating capacity for not more than two people but right now, Zhihao was basically stuffing everyone inside his car, making them squeeze into a seat that was made to accommodate only one person.
Liang Feng, Tian Xifeng, Li Ying, and Kaoru were already with Li Ling and this only left behind Wang GuiYing, Zhou Xinyi, and Jiangshi who had to travel with Zhihao.
“A-Zhi, Send Jiangshi over. It would be uncomfortable for you to seat all three in a single-seat,” Li Ling peeked out of his car window and shouted.
Zhihao nodded his head as he turned to look at Jiangshi who suddenly went still, “You can take that car.”
Jiangshi gulped as he reluctantly nodded his head and turned to head over to the other car.
Wang GuiYing sat on Zhou Xinyi’s lap but it was even more awkward and uncomfortable for them since the car had such a low ceiling cover.
“It’s only for a minute bear with it,” Zhihao sighed as he reassured and started up his engine. He sped by Li Ling’s car and signaled the man that he was going to go ahead first this time.
Li Ling nodded as he waited for Jiangshi to take a seat.
“Brother Li, I hate you,” Jiangshi gritted as he finally opened his mouth after making sure that Zhihao was nowhere near enough to hear his voice.
“Eh?” Li Ling innocently tilted his head as he wondered what he had done but Jiangshi gave him no explanation.
Of course, Jiangshi wasn’t happy with Li Ling and this was because the man had called him over and not let him ride in Zhihao’s sports car.
That car was precious to Zhihao and the man was so stingy in letting people travel in his car. If such a situation were not to arise then Zhihao would have surely never let anyone get in his car and this was also the reason why this was such a rare opportunity for Huang Zhen to finally travel in that car!
Li Ying seemed to have read the boy’s head so she chuckled as she made some space for him, “Get in fast or we’ll leave you behind and you’ll have to walk to the next arena.”
Huang Zhen frowned as he heard this but dare not say anything against the girl. He quietly got seated inside the car and before he could even put in the seat belt, Li Ling had started driving.
“Damn it…” Huang Zhen gasped as he cursed at the sudden speed.
“What a monstrous driving skill,” He commented under his breath and because of the sound coming from the engine, nobody had managed to hear him.
They only had two minutes with them and they had at least used a whole minute to simply get inside the car, this only left them with another minute to get to the destination so it was only natural that Li Ling was driving as if there was a cyclone chasing after their car. In fact, he wasn’t the only one who was driving recklessly, Zhihao was driving at a greater speed and his car almost gave the illusion of being invisible because of the high speed.
Liang Feng kept his eye on the screen as he glanced up every now and then to see how much further away was the destination.
Throughout the way, nobody dared to say a single thing as their breaths got stuck in their throats and their racing heartbeat became the only thing that they could hear vividly.
Since Zhihao was way up ahead of them, it was only natural that he reached the destination first but Li Ling was also not too late as he managed to reach before the two minutes were up.
It needed to be said that he had barely managed to win against time but at least he was able to win.
This time, their destination was actually… Much different than all the previous ones…
The first competition was in an office building, the second one was in an arcade while the third one was in the national football stadium, however, the fourth competition was in a place that they would have least expected.
It was a dark abandoned alley.
Zhihao gulped as he got out of his car and cautiously took a few steps into the alley. Wang GuiYing and Zhou Xinyi also followed closely behind.
