What?! The Gamemaster And The Top Player Are Dating?! - Chapter 275
Beating this creature was certainly not going to be easy and even if it was Li Ying who was currently in Huang Zhen’s position, she was sure that she would also not be able to save herself.
Huang Zhen did the only thing that the boy could think of doing and took out the gun from his pocket.
In front of such a big dragon, a small gun was probably useless and even Huang Zhen could clearly see that, but he still hoped to make some use of the gun and didn’t recklessly try to shoot the creature.
Instead of shooting, he continued to run as he avoided being eaten by the Dragon.
Various thoughts seemed to be racing through his mind as he tried to come up with a solution that didn’t have any big chances of failing but as expected, there was no such solution. All plans that his brain could come up with were simply too reckless and with just one wrong step, his life would probably be in a fatal condition.
Huang Zhen took a sharp breath in and grabbed onto one of the whiskers of the creature before jumping and avoiding the creature’s mouth that had almost managed to bite his leg.
He used the whisker as a rope and swung towards the other side without any plan in mind but just as he landed, his mind went blank for a single second as he realized that he perhaps had a great idea that he was yet to consider.
The boy gulped as he looked up at the creature and he had an indecipherable expression plastered on his face.
Li Ying who looked at Huang Zhen’s sudden pause in movements could clearly notice that there was something wrong and it didn’t take her more than a few seconds to guess that Huang Zhen probably had a sudden plan.
Huang Zhen coughed as he tried to catch the creature’s attention, however, this was a waste since the creature was already pretty interested in eating him, however, it seemed that one couldn’t easily judge his actions.
The boy waited at his spot for a solid second as if almost challenging the giant creature to take a bite out of him, but just before the mouth closed in on him, Huang Zhen ducked his head and crawled forward, hiding under the creature’s chin.
This was the only blind spot that he could find and it seemed to work in the beginning as the creature looked to be thoroughly confused after not seeing the boy anywhere.
Huang Zhen mustered up his courage and took in a deep breath before he opened his mouth and shouted loudly, “I’m here!”
Li Ying who saw this couldn’t help but want to smack herself unconscious.
What the hell was this boy planning?!
First, he was trying to hide in the blind spot and now he was calling the dragon to come and eat him?!
Did this boy lose his brain or something?! Did he fall on his head?!
Li Ying’s eyebrows creased together and she sighed in disbelief but in the very next moment, she found something strange with the creature’s behavior and she couldn’t help but be drawn to this fight as she noticed this.
The creature… Was not attacking…?!
Huang Zhen’s lips curled up in a smirk as he realized that his thoughts had been correct.
He sighed as he got ready to execute the rest of his plan.
The boy ran out of the creature’s blind spot and displayed himself out in the open as if trying to invite the creature to come and take a bite.
The creature growled first before opening its mouth to roar and when it was done showing its aggressiveness, its head sprang forward towards Huang Zhen who stood in place.
Huang Zhen took a sharp breath in as he bet his life on the line and jumped up, reaching out his hand as far as he could to grab the whisker that he had previously used as a swinging rope.
If his hands slipped or missed then he would fall into the mouth of the creature and be thoroughly grounded up like minced meat.
His eyes went wide open as he barely managed to grab a hold of it.
“Yesss!!” The boy exclaimed with joy as he swung around with the help of the whisker first before moving on to the next part of the plan.
The creature seemed to have understood that Huang Zhen was on its whiskers so it shook its head and tried to get the boy off, however, Huang Zhen was determined and stubborn.
The boy refused to let go and the creature let out a hot steamy breath, almost making Huang Zhen feel as if his clothes could burn into ashes at any moment now because of the heat coming from the creature’s nostrils.
“Just what in the hell are you trying to do…?!” Li Ying questioned the boy on the screen as she muttered to herself and the answer to her question presented itself in the very next moment.
Huang Zhen climbed up to the snout of the creature before raising the gun and aiming it at the creature’s eye.
This dragon was deaf and Huang Zhen thought that the only thing he could do to ensure being uneaten by the creature was perhaps blinding it as well.
It could then be both deaf and blind. A perfect combination for a useless predator.
If this creature’s smelling senses were strong then Huang Zhen had a lot more to worry about, but it seemed that the boy hadn’t thought that far ahead just yet and Li Ying almost wanted to laugh since this was to be expected of this boy.
To not think too far ahead, was perhaps the trademark of Huang Zhen while his brother was the exact opposite.
Huang Zhen closed his left eye and focused on his aim as he tried to balance himself on top of the creature.
It seemed that this creature had two blind spots. One was under its chin and the other was on top of its snout.
Huang Zhen hadn’t actually realized that he was standing in another blind spot, and if he wasn’t lucky enough to be standing on one at this moment, then he would have surely been shaken off.
Falling from here would have injured him which would have further resulted in being defenseless against the creature.
Huang Zhen took a sharp breath in as he supported the gun with both hands this time, having learned the lesson after not doing this the previous time he had shot this thing.
He calmed himself down before carefully pulling the trigger and aiming to take out one of the dragon’s eyes.
He flinched as he felt the bullet leaving the body of the gun and the bullet went forward, hitting the creature’s eye and making it go blind from one eye.
The creature roared loudly and cried out in pain as it moved around in agony. Huang Zhen lowered himself down before grabbing tightly onto the whiskers so as to not be thrown off.
If this creature was real then Huang Zhen would have certainly had a hard time shooting it since he was such a big animal lover and although dragons were supposed to be fake, they were his favorite kind of mythical beasts whom he considered to be alive.
He was still young so it was only natural that he still believed dragons to be real. If he were to ever find one in his real-world then this boy would definitely be naive enough to try and train that dragon. Killing the creature… Well, he couldn’t even think of doing such a thing.
However, the dragon in front of him at this moment was nothing more than a computer program. A bunch of codes that had no real emotions or feelings. Although it acted as if it was hurt, Huang Zhen could clearly understand that it was probably programmed to act that way and it felt none of the pain that it was trying to display, but although he knew this, he couldn’t help but feel a little guilty.
Li Ying sighed as she clearly noticed the guilty expression plastered on the boy’s face.
“That’s just a virtual monster! What’s there to be guilty about?!” She cried out in disbelief but Huang Zhen could naturally not hear her say anything.
When the creature had calmed down after a few minutes, Huang Zhen carefully stood up and aimed his gun at the creature’s other eye, hoping to blind the dragon completely.
He got ready to pull the trigger but at that very moment, the creature shook its head and Huang Zhen lost balance, falling down as a result.
His eyes went wide and there was only one thought that crossed through his mind: “I’m dead…!”
He knew that this was it but the boy wasn’t an idiot and even though everything looked to be unfavorable for him at this moment, the boy still raised his gun and roughly aimed it at the creature’s eye before shooting, praying for the gods of luck to have some pity on him.
