When a Bossy CEO Meets Gary Stu - CH 71.2
Charm?
What charm? Charm what? How to charm? A contest of calligraphy where the best written word ‘charm’ wins?
He Jünle wouldn’t say a word, just like those super A-list movie stars who wouldn’t let a single bit of information leaked out no matter what. He had his mouth blubbering for half a day only to produce such sentences as ‘it’s all for your good’ and ‘I know what I’m doing’ and finally, when nothing would deter him, He Jünle can only lean on the door to actually act like a movie superstar and squeeze a few refreshing Spring raindrops out of his eyes to finally shut Murong Jihua’s mouth up.
Fine.
You’re the pregnant one, so the shaoye will obviously choose to forgive you,
For the shaoye is such a generous, merciful, all-forgiving man.
──Today’s Murong Jihua, is once again scrambling for excuses for conceding.
When he is descending through the elevator with He Jünle, Murong Jihua suddenly hears the question out of nowhere,
“You like kids?”
Murong Jihua answers without a second thought, “anyone would like kids, I think. If I had a kid, there’s no question the shaoye’d spoil him so badly.”
He Jünle has his gaze fixed on the changing floor number display, replying with this enigmatic tone, “oh…”
──Murong Jihua finds himself on alert. Did, He Jünle, just ask him the incredible death trap of a question in BL novels?
Did his answer hurt him?
When he knew clearly he’d never have a kid with him?
Would he think I don’t actually love him?
Would he think I want to surrogate a kid?
Murong Jihua is more and more anxious as his thoughts continue. He even tried placing himself in the young man’s shoes; if it were himself, then wouldn’t he…
Yes, He Jünle must have been heartbroken!
Yes, he screwed up right now, so he should fix it right now!
Yes, their love will forever stand the test of time!
Murong Jihua grips tight on He Jünle from behind and says with such a burst of profound emotion,
“It’s alright. You might not be able to give birth, but you mean far more to me than my being able to be a father.”
He Jünle merely replies, “hah? What are you going on about now??? The elevator door is open, so stop it! Let’s move──”
The aunties and uncles and kids waiting outside just watched in absolute shock as a man is getting a piggyback from another man while spouting nonsense. They all look at each other, and quickly separate into a path for them.
He Jünle “…”
He Jünle never expected Murong Jihua to have such a desire for fatherhood,
So much so he’s gone mad?
He doesn’t understand, because he was just idly working out what kind of ‘abortive’ process would be easiest to work with Murong Jihua’s pitiful amount of acting skills to be most realistic──
And ends up asking that question. Then the man looks to have just gone mad entirely?
Since he isn’t actually pregnant.
So obviously, after that competition, finding an opportune moment before his pregnancy begins ‘showing’ and aborting the ‘foetus’ is the best way forward.
What is with Murong Jihua now? Is he really so emotional and crying just wishing he could be a father?
He Jünle says, “… don’t do this, Murong.
… If you really want to be a father this much, I’ll help. I’ll call you daddy in bed, alright?”
Murong Jihua “?!?!”
What He Jünle referred to as ‘we’ll be getting busy’ literally does mean the two of them are getting busy.
Poor Murong Jihua, now the very rich CEO, thought that ‘getting busy’ meant his subordinates would be getting busy.
Murong Jihua “??? Why are we buying childcare products in a supermarket?”
──He asks, holding a doll in his hand.
He Jünle turns around to answer, “we have to perform all the way; it is most normal for couples to prepare these together early in the pregnancy. It’ll be more suspicious if we did nothing.”
──He answers, holding a pacifier in his hand.
There are many people in the supermarket, and with the both of them having rather bulky, masculine bodies, Murong Jihua finds it difficult to remain sticking onto He Jünle. So soon enough, Murong Jihua grows impatient.
He gives a devious smile as he puts on his best bling and handsome act to say, “easy, this shaoye will contact butler Cui──”
He Jünle clamps down on his restlessly showy hand to tell him,
“We don’t need a new supermarket. Stop your fantasies.”
Murong Jihua “…
Fine, then. Childcare and midwifery, right? Then I──”
“We do not need 180 midwives and nannies. We’re putting on an act, don’t overdo it or we look suspicious nonetheless. Stop your fantasies.”
“Oh.”
He Jünle is certainly adept at picking up goods. At least, Murong Jihua is unable to identify the brand or the make or whatever. That’s unimportant, what’s important is that he just has to clear out He Jünle’s increasingly full shopping trolley every so often.
… But, aren’t you way too experienced with this?!
Aren’t the both of them first-time fathers here?
Murong Jihua remains troubled for a while, and finally gives in to ask,
“… He Jünle, you don’t actually have many illegitimate sons hanging out there, do you?”
He Jünle bonks on Murong Jihua’s head with the milk bottle in his hand, saying,
“What are you on about this time? Xüeru was really little back then, so I had to take good care of her.”
And now, Xüeru has grown up.
And I’ve met who I should take care of better now.
