When The Villainess Became The Male Lead’s Obsession - Chapter 17 – Part 1
While Elysia was helplessly defeated by Ariel’s adorableness, a savior voice echoed from afar.
“Miss!! Miss Ariel!!”
The person who was shouting from afar was Ariel’s maid Roa.
As she ran toward them, her dark chestnut hair that was tied back shook from side to side like a dog’s tail.
Roa’s voice mixed with her ragged breathing as she continuously called Ariel’s name.
As Roa got closer to them, despite not doing anything wrong, Elysia felt sorry for Ariel’s maid, whose breathing became more evident.
While Elysia was unaware, Ariel, the main culprit who made things difficult for her maid Roa, made a face of disappointment as she saw her hunter come closer.
“Miss! The cl, class… hah… heuk… will begin soon… Huu… Euk? Eh! Mi,Miss Elysia!”
Roa staggered and panted heavily as she arrived in front of the two, but she stiffened as her vision became more clear, and Elysia’s figure became visible.
Soon thereafter, Roa dropped a 90 degree bow to Elysia and greeted her with a ferocious spirit.
“M, Miss! Greetings!”
“Hmn. Hello.”
Elysia was not surprised by Roa’s action in greeting her with a nervous tone, so Elysia responded to her nonchalantly.
She already expected that she herself had made a scary impression on Roa after all.
“Ariel. Don’t give Roa a hard time and go attend your lessons.”
“Th, that’s not it, Miss! The Miss is not giving me a hard time! It has been a long time since I had exercise; it feels refreshing! It feels like my stamina has improved!”
Roa’s statement was unreliable, as her legs shook while she defended Ariel.
For Roa, she would like to wish if her lifespan wouldn’t cut short, much less her stamina.
Compared to Roa, Ariel’s stamina seemed to be much better, as she was only sweating when she caught up to Elysia earlier.
“You won’t have any time left to wash by the time you arrive inside, so attend your lessons right away.”
Elysia said as she took off the coat she was wearing and draped it over Ariel’s shoulders.
It was out of concern that Ariel might catch a cold because of her sweat from running earlier.
“You’ll catch a cold if you dry down your sweat in the cold weather, so wear this.”
A sisterly-love fell and wrapped around Ariel’s shoulders.
With Elysia’s action, Ariel couldn’t refute anymore that she didn’t want to attend the class.
Fearing that the coat that wrapped her small shoulders might fall, she held on the ends and nodded her head at her sister’s reminder.
“Okay…”
As a result, Ariel was dressed in three layers of top.
“Roa. You too, be careful not to catch a cold.”
“Thank you for your consideration, Miss!”
Contrary to Roa’s vigorous reply, her back was still bent.
Elysia couldn’t help but smile at the sight and waved her hand.
Her hand gesture meant for them to quickly leave.

When Elysia confirmed Roa and Ariel had entered the mansion, she checked her surroundings to make sure that there was no one else again following her.
And fortunately, there seemed to be no one nearby.
That was the reason why Elysia went to meet Eden around this time.
There were fewer people in the garden around this time of the day.
So it was a time when Elysia could visit Eden with a calm heart.
Elysia momentarily paused and continued on her path toward the bare trees, their leaves shed and fallen to the ground.
Not caring about unexpectedly losing her coat to Ariel.
Thankfully, the coat she had forgotten and left in the annex the day before came to her mind.
‘I should wear the one I left in the annex when I go back.’
Other people would have been shivering from the cold, but by Elysia’s standard, it wasn’t much.
And it was not the cold that was her problem.
“Right. The sweets.”
Elysia’s real problem was that the sweets she had bought for Eden were in the pocket of the coat she gave to Ariel.
She unconsciously touched her hips, where the pocket was supposed to be.
There was nothing to find; no sweets to be seen.
“It’ll be difficult to go back to the mansion at this point…”
Although Elysia was worried that Eden might be disappointed if she were to come empty-handed, she continued moving forward.
Elysia concluded that the best option would be giving up the sweets and visiting him as early as possible rather than arriving late and making Eden wait.

“Hehe~”
Ariel wore the coat Elysia gave her and put her arm in the coat’s sleeve as she smiled contentedly.
Roa saw Ariel smiling to her ears at what her sister gave her out of concern, and Roa couldn’t help herself but ask with an uncomfortable expression.
“Are you really that pleased?”
“Of course!”
Because it’s the coat her sister wore!
Roa awkwardly laughed at Ariel, embarrassed at her honest confession for her sister with an innocent face.
‘Don’t younger siblings dislike hand-me-downs from their older siblings?’
‘No, in the first place, it was wrong to discuss supposedly normal things with Miss Ariel.’
‘Miss Elysia is terrifying, but Miss Ariel is…’
After the death of Isabella, all the new maids were afraid of Elysia.
The fear they felt was different from that the old maids had of her.
Roa couldn’t help but be terrified.
It was because of what Elysia had said after she called for an assembly of the new hires.
