When You Are Mine - Chapter 331
After settling Blake into his bed, Jake joined his uncle at the garage who had taken Hillary and Dr David there. He had wanted to get rid of the woman once and for all, but he had been surprised to hear the revelations which were being made.
“What did you just say?” He turned to his uncle who had just muttered something unbelievable.
Did he just hear him say Hillary was responsible for his mother’s death?
Adrian sighed when he saw the bewildered look on Jake’s face. He slowly nodded his head and said, “It is true.”
Jake stood thunderstruck when he heard that. He felt like his whole body had been hit with a truck as he remained unmoved. He couldn’t believe what he had heard, as a matter of fact he didn’t want to believe it.
He shook his head, “That’s not true. Mother had died of heart–” He paused why it finally donned on him. Heart disease.
She had poisoned her too. Jake felt like his world was spinning. How could someone plague his family in such a way?
He had never seen anyone as vicious as Hillary. He could never had imagined this woman was responsible his mother’s death. How had that happened? He had thought his mother had died from a heart disease but unfortunately she had been poisoned to death by this evil witch? Why?
“How can you be so cruel?” He asked with lividity. His body shook vehemently as he stared at her, anger blazing through his eyes.
“What did my family ever do to you? What did my innocent mother do to you for you to murder to her?!” He demanded angrily while Hillary scoffed in derision.
“What your mother did?” She asked in an irritated tone, but continued without waiting for his reply. Her eyes staring daggers at Jake.
“Your mother was a stingy bitch! She was crazily stingy. She had all the wealth, influence and power and a caring husband, but she couldn’t offer me anything yet she called me her friend. I was struggling as a little star but she did nothing. She liked seeing me beg her for support when she could have easily shared what she had. So yes, I killed your stupid mother and married her husband to make a better life for myself as I deserve. She kept enjoying all our tea meetings little did she know I was poisoning her, because that’s how dumb and stupid she was. And believe me I’d do it ten times over, because she didn’t deserve all she had!” Hillary spat out.
“You crazy bitch!” Jake lunged at her and violently grabbed her neck the moment those words left her mouth. He pushed her backwards till he slammed her body hard against a car, but instead of whimpering or screaming the wench was laughing and that riled Jake even more.
“Your parents are idiots most especially that stupid father of yours.” She cussed.
“You witch!” Jake growled as he tightened his grip over her neck, squeezing whatever miserable life she had in her, he pulled her closer towards himself and once again rammed her body against another car the force was hard that that side of the car had slightly compressed. “I’ll fucking kill you!” He roared, his eyes were full with anger and hatred.
Adrian sighed when he saw Jake in rage, with the way he looked and behaved he was sure he’d kill Hillary with his own hands and he didn’t want that. He moved towards him and held his hand which was tightly gripping her neck.
“Jake let her go. You’ll kill her.” He told him.
“Then let me kill her.” Jake growled as he once again tightened his grip over her neck, he placed his other hand on her neck too and vehemently pressed on it so badly that her face had turned red. He couldn’t think well, and all he could think about was killing her, he wanted to sniffle the life out of her because she didn’t deserve to live. He wanted to kill her a million times over and torture her soul.
“Jake listen to me you don’t want to do that.” Adrian said, forcefully gripping Jake’s hand and pulling it away from Hillary’s neck, while she gasped for air before she started coughing. Her face was dark red, she could hardly breathe. She had thought he was really going to kill her now. She placed her hand on her neck which was burning with pain and glared at Jake and Adrian.
“You..fool.” She raged, apparently her end hasn’t fully dawned on her.
Jake lividly glared at his uncle, “Uncle what are you doing?” He furiously demanded as he tried to wriggle his hand away from his uncle’s but the man wasn’t letting him.
“Jake you can’t become a murderer because of her, she isn’t worth it. Your mother wouldn’t want that, don’t let her death be in vain by letting someone like her turn you into someone you shouldn’t become.” Adrian told him but Jake didn’t want to listen.
Adrian didn’t want his sister’s child to become a murderer especially not because of someone like Hillary. She didn’t deserve that special treatment.
“You….should listen….to your uncle.” Hillary who was still coughing managed to say. She was in so much pain, the impact of the hit had made the gunshot wound which had been wrapped to resume bleeding. She had her hand over it as she tried to control the bleeding but to no avail. How she hated Jake and desired to kill him now.
Hearing her speak made Jake even more livid. He just wanted her to drop out of the surface of the earth and stop existing.
He didn’t know how Hillary could be so cruel. Fifteen years ago she had once been his mother’s friend. He had never liked her even as a child. But she kept visiting their home and his mother was so affectionate towards her. She doted on her like an elder sister would, little did she know she was catering for a viper. When his mother died it had broke the whole family. But after his mother died ten years ago, Hillary started visiting their house more often acting like an obligated sister who must look after her late sister’s family. She’d act nice when Henry was there and non-chalant when he wasn’t. She tried to comfort his father and had somehow paved her way into his heart. When grandfather had asked him to remarry someone to help look after the children because they were both busy at the company, he had protested at first but had later surprised everyone when he chose Hillary. Simply because she was more familiar with the children and his wife had trusted her. To him that was what made her the best fit. And that was how this witch had ended up in his home.
What sort of a monster was she?
