White Online - Chapter 687 Silencing The World.
“Swing, swing, swing, little bird~” Inside a private plane, Loki sang softly while kicking his legs back and forth. A few seats away, Arthur sat alone while gazing out of the window at the passing clouds. He joined Loki’s team to hunt down a Demon Lord called Garmagello.
They had tracked him to a remote city, which had evacuated several hours ago, but there were still some stubborn ones who stayed behind.
Garmagello and his army of demons planned to track the evacuated citizens, kill them, and move to another city. They would keep repeating it until someone came to stop them.
Arthur looked with a side-glance at Loki and wondered, ‘He is the owner of Fenrir? I heard tales about that crazy demonic wolf, who is strong enough to bring fear to Odin. I heard Loki is not strong, but tricky.
‘I never would have expected him to be the owner of Fenrir.’
“We have an eye on an enemy ship!” The pilot of the private plane shouted as a fleet of ships appeared in the distance. The demons hadn’t yet arrived at their first city!
Arthur looked out of the window and said, “We shall not let them near any civilization! Let’s bring them down!”
At the stomach of the plane, several missiles flew out of square-shaped cannons and crossed the distance between the plane and the demons.
Boom!
The first missile exploded once, grazing the back of the first demon ship. The strange ship, shaped like a generic U.F.O, started spiraling down to the ground.
The blast’s impact didn’t bother the rest of the ships.
The cannons shot more missiles, but this time, the demon ships dodged them by making moves that could be classified as gravity-defying.
Swoosh!
The door of the first demon ship opened. Then, a demon jumped out of the ship with his fist clenched and reeled it backward. He was Garmagello and was jumping straight at them with the intention of destroying the plane!
“Light!” Arthur’s whole body shone brilliantly, and soon the entire plane was as bright as the sun!
Everyone inside the plane wasn’t affected by the light, but all the demons were, especially Garmagello!

“Argh!” Garmagello covered his eyes and flew straight through the plane’s right wing, separating it from the rest of the plane.
The pilot lost control of the plane and it started spiraling out of control. However, before falling down, the plane crashed into the rest of the demon ships, causing all the ships to fall down!
Crash!
The plane crashed through a snow hill and dragged across the endless snowland while crashing through trees, rocks, and hills.
After the second wing was shattered, the plane painfully came to a stop with the pilot’s face bleeding heavily. Everyone inside seemed alright, except for the only mortal, the pilot.
The demon ships managed to land safely on the ground, but couldn’t fly again as the ships were smoking badly.
Garmagello crashed on the ground, causing an enormous crater around him.
“Get out of the ship, quick!” Arthur shouted as he punched a hole in the side of the plane and jumped out. He was followed by the gods, who joined in this endeavor.
Loki carefreely helped the pilot out of the plane and laid him down on the snowy ground, around fifty meters away from the fallen plane.
“Loki, what should we do?” Arthur asked their leader, while the rest of the gods waited for orders. They all had their own egos and prides, but they knew they needed to throw those away for survival.
“Nothing.” Loki said.
“N-Nothing?” Arthur was stunned.
“Yes, there is nothing we have to do. We are only here as zookeepers, so rest and wait for our turn to do our job.” Loki patted off the snow from the fallen bark and sat down.
Arthur and the rest of the gods looked surprised. The trickster god looked very unreliable right now.
Arthur frowned and hoped that Loki knew what he was doing.
Crunch, crunch. Then, they all tensed as the sound of snow getting stepped on reverberated in the distance.
Garmagello and hundreds of demons appeared from the depths of the snow forest and surrounded them!

Arthur and the rest of the gods went to their fighting stances while Loki sat with a snowball in his hand.
“We, accept your surrender.” Garmagello said as he approached them with towering momentum. Arthur and the gods felt powerless.
“Kneel down, let the demons cuff you, and you all shall keep your lives.” The Demon Lord stated.
Arthur gritted his teeth and a small light particle appeared in his palm.
“Arthur, don’t!” But then, Loki’s voice echoed in his ears. “He doesn’t like light. Don’t make him target you.”
‘Who?’ Arthur frowned and made the light disappear.
“You are the leader?” Garmagello turned to the lazy-looking god. “Your leader has already surrendered. Why bother fighting when I can kill every single one of you with one attack?”
Loki scratched his hair and lowered his head to look at the ground. It looked like he had indeed given up and surrendered. The gods felt rather desperate and cursed Loki inside their minds.
However, then Loki felt tremors beneath his feet. The tremors were moving closer and closer…
“Heh.” His lips curled upward. “Finally woken up, eh?”
“Enough of this nonsense.” Garmagello’s aura increased and it looked like a massive giant, who reached the skies, appeared behind him with aura powerful enough to suffocate everyone.
Arthur and the gods fell to their knees while their shoulders felt immensely heavy. The tree bark beneath Loki cracked and forced him down on his buttocks.
However, that attracted attention of certain creature…
RUMBLE!
The ground cracked and shook like it was struck by an enormous earthquake. The nearby mountains fell apart, trees were unrooted from the soil, and even the skies were shaking!
“What is this?!” Garmagello had trouble staying standing as the entire world was shaking around him. It looked like the world was crashing down and he was at center of it!
At last, a single howl silenced the world.
“Hoooowooooooooooooooooo!”
