Who Said A Mosquito Can’t Cultivate? - Chapter 28
Anyways, I can’t really talk that much since as I am speaking, a bit more blood trickles out of the large opening I made on the rabbit’s head…which has been mangled to the point where it has become unrecognizable.
I pity you, rabbit that I just killed. May your blood become a driving force for my greater constitution.
Poke.
Slurp.
Thanks to my blood sucking efficiency skill being at the third tier, the small body of this unique rabbit dried up in a short amount of time, turning into what looked like dried rabbit jerky…with tons of fur. Did I suck the blood that trickled down all over the ground? Yes, I did. Unfortunately, a great amount of the blood from this rabbit was absorbed by the ground already, and I can’t really suck blood soaked earth.
Ding!
‘Moon Blood Rabbit’s Agility (3/10) -> (MAX)’
‘Constitution +0.014’
‘Due to absorbing enough blood from the Moon Blood Rabbit, [Body Shift] has been upgraded to [Evasive Retreat].’
‘Due to absorbing enough blood from the Moon Blood Rabbit, [Evasive Retreat] has been upgraded to [Strategic Stepback].’
Well…to be honest, I wasn’t really expecting a rabbit to have that much strength, so this amount of Constitution from an awakened rabbit is quite decent. The skill I got somewhat makes up for the pitiful boost in Constitution though, seeing that it’s an escape skill.
Anyways, in the end, I got around 200 or so blood points from this unique rabbit, killing and sucking included. Considering its small body, it’s a pretty decent number.
Well then, time to move on from this unique rabbit. There’s still another animal within this clearing I can kill and suck blood from to increase my Constitution. Well…mostly blood.
Now, what could that animal be? To answer that question, it is an animal commonly known for their fluffy white fur and their powerful abilities in the proliferation of their future generation.
Yes, that animal is an…
Incredibly lecherous walking cotton candy.
If it was a real animal in this world, I would definitely lose my mind and scream at the heavens for making this. On the other hand, I would wonder as to what this animal would taste. Would its blood be sweet?
Either way, the animal I’m going to suck blood from is the common rabbit. Rare animals give Constitution skills that doesn’t overlap over the Constitution skills of normal animals, so it would be a waste to just skip all of these white rabbits here.
Not only that, it’s also a good time to test out the newly upgraded skill I grabbed from the Bloodlust Skill feature. Of course, this skill was none other than the Level 2 Skill, Needle Impact Maxima, the skill I considered as my ultimate move. Then again, I’m pretty sure that I can use it multiple times without breaking a sweat, unlike a normal ultimate move so…possible trump card?
Anyways, not only would I be testing the powers of this Level 2 Skill, I would also stack Void Enhancement on top of this skill, which could possibly increase the firepower of this skill by a great margin. This test would also probably give me a good idea of how much of a boost it gives?
Of course, that’s only possible if I use it first without the skill.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Buzz…
Flying away from the unique rabbit’s dried up corpse, I flew around the clearing for a bit to find an area that had a lot of rabbits…which was everywhere except for the place where the unique rabbit’s corpse was.
Okay, I’ll be a bit more exact then. I went towards an area of the clearing where roughly a hundred rabbits were moving around, which took a few minutes of waiting and looking for the chance to come up.
At the very instant the chance came up, I flew up to a height of 10 meters above the rabbits, the normal height I flew around while travelling through the forest and…
‘Needle Impact Maxima!’
Used the skill, pointing my body downwards.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
As my body flew faster and faster downwards, I could feel some sort of intangible energy surrounding my body, which originated from the tip of my proboscis. This intangible energy only took a short while to transform into a shape I could easily perceive even without Qi Perception.
Starting from the tip of my proboscis, the intangible energy took form into the shape of a…
Bullet.
Whoosh!
With this newly formed aerodynamic body, I was able to hit a white rabbit at its spine and even pierce through it, coming out from the other end as I hit the ground with a hard thud.
Bang!
Due to the force behind my shape, the rabbit I hit exploded into multiple rabbit meat chunks as the remaining force from my body spread out through the ground, sending tens of rabbits flying in the air. If I were to give a rough estimate of how many rabbits flew, I would say around 20 to 30 or so rabbits.
Not long after, these rabbits landed on the ground, with some landing head first, crushing their skulls at the sheer speed at which they fell, and with some ending up with crippled limbs as they landed on their legs. Mostly, it was the latter, but it was not rare for the former to happen as well.
Surprisingly, those that landed on their limbs had their limbs snap on the joints, bleeding them to death…which basically gave them a more torturous way of dying. Well…F, I guess?
Ding!
‘You have successfully killed a Rabbit!’
‘You have obtained 1 Bloodlust Point.’
‘You have obtained 13 points of Impure Blood Energy from killing this creature.’
‘Due to the rabbit’s shock surrounding your body, you have obtained [Rabbit’s Speed].’
‘Rabbit’s Speed (0/10) -> (3/10)’
‘Constitution +0.001’
Of course, the number of notifications I received from the system was not limited to just one alone. Since I had killed around 20 to 30 rabbits, I had received the same amount of notifications, with the notification of my Constitution increasing stopping at around the 4th rabbit, with the notification of Bloodlust Points and blood points piling up at the 5th rabbit afterwards.
After I skimmed through all of the notifications, I ended up with 23 Bloodlust Points, a Constitution boost of 0.01, and around 300 points of blood. Quite a decent harvest, but not really super decent.
Anyways, with that out of the way, now begs the question…would I be sucking blood out of all of the dead rabbits?
Normally, I would be lazy and skip doing all of that, but I don’t know if I’ve gotten this habit after going through a blood buffet, but I’m gonna suck each and every rabbit that died…except for the one that turned into meat chunks though.
Slurp. Slurp. Slurp.
Around 10 minutes later, the 23 rabbits that died under my Needle Impact Maxima had been sucked dry of their blood, including most of the blood that trickled down their wounds. This also included the rabbit that exploded after I collided with it, sucking up the blood that turned into a puddle on the earth.
This gave me around 2000 points of blood to use. Once I get a bit more and max out my storage, I might just go and upgrade my physique for once.
Oh, and also, Needle Impact Maxima is incredibly strong. It deserves to be called an ultimate move. Would I be using all the time from now onwards? No. Too destructive.
After sucking all of the blood from the rabbit corpses, I then looked around the clearing to see if there were any other variants of rabbits that I missed. I know I said that only one type of unique rabbit existed within this clearing, but I can’t be really sure about…oh shit.
As I looked around the clearing, the sight of a cabin hidden behind a few trees could not help but enter my eyes, giving me a small shock. As this cabin entered my mind, I could not help but think that this clearing filled to the brim with rabbits was owned by a human.
Now, it was a matter of whether it was a normal human or a cultivator. If it was a normal human, I could kill it no problem. If it was a cultivator though, I’d have to escape because I don’t have enough power to fight against one. My Constitution hasn’t even reached 1!
Wait…now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure that Needle Impact Maxima made a loud ruckus as I hit the ground. Well then, no time to waste. I should get out of this clearing as fast as possible.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Buzz…
As I flew away from the clearing, I could not help but look back, staring at the two things I did on it. A large encirclement of white rabbit corpses, and a badly disfigured skull of a unique rabbit. Should I say sorry to this human? Or should I say thank you?
Either way, I’m definitely sure that we won’t meet each other in the future. Well, I sure hope not.
And with that, I continued to traverse the forest, looking for more animals to suck blood from and obtain more Constitution from. I have no doubt that there are still a lot of animals I haven’t sucked within this forest, but for some reason, they just don’t pop up within my field of vision. Remember that with my physique upgrading my eyes by a lot of notches, I could see pretty far out now with great clarity. Well, the possibility of them just existing on another part of the forest comes to mind.
Maybe this forest is split into the outer and inner areas, which is why I haven’t seen a ton of variation in terms of animals within the forest I traversed. If so, I’ll have to do a thorough search through the forest after I reach a Constitution of 1…or I could do it right now.
Hmm…nah.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Buzz…
Oh? What’s this animal supposed to be?
Well…as I was traversing through the forest, I came acroos a weird looking animal that seemed to be a mix of an elephant and a giraffe. Of course, the weird part doesn’t stop there, since it was valiantly standing beside a large cubic rock beside it, like some sort of guard.
Does the large rock cube beside it hold some secret or something? But the more important question is…what the fuck is this animal?
Whoosh!
With that, I made my way down to meet this elephant-giraffe hybrid at a level where I could see its full body within my field of vision and all I can say is…damn this boi tall.
At first, it was a speculation, but now that I got a closer look, I could confidently say that it’s an animal that has both the features of an elephant and a giraffe. In other words, a chimera.
As I looked at this chimera, I could not help but glance at the large rock cube beside it, only seeing a circle inscribed on its side. At this point, my curiosity was at its peak, wondering about the connection between the chimera and the rock cube with a circle on its side.
Well…my curiosity for the chimera was higher…prompting me to head towards its back and suck a bit of blood for the system to identify.
Buzz…
I made my way towards the chimera’s back, landing on what seemed to be a hump that covered most of the chimera’s spine. Well, to be more exact, it wasn’t a drastic hump like a camel’s, but like a decently sized hump that more long than tall.
Either way, if I could suck blood out of it, I don’t care whether it’s a tall hump or a long hump.
Slurp.
Ding!
In an instant, the chimera’s information was revealed.
________
[Brave Rock Giralephant]
Base Species: Elephant-Giraffe Hybrid
Evolution Tier: 2
A successful crossbreeding experiment of the Forbidden Chimera Sect, a giralephant is a docile animal that packs a punch when retaliating. After awakening its bloodline twice, it obtained extremely intrepid defense and strength, allowing it to fight against strong enemies for a long time.
________
Oh? This chimera was made by a sect? Now, why would a sect make this? Well, of course it’s for power, but what else? What other purpose does it serve?
At this point in time, I could not help but look at the large rock cube with a more suspicious gaze, as if there was a big reason as to why this chimera and this rock cube was here, hidden deep within this forest.
Hm? Why is my point of view gradually getting higher?
As I looked at the surroundings, I end up looking at where I was standing on, the chimera’s hump…which wasn’t actually a hump as it gradually turned stiffer and stiffer, towering towards the heavens a minute later.
…
This sect is pretty retarded for putting the baby maker on the chimera’s back.
Also…
Fuck.
I just succed blood out of a chimera’s dick.
