Why 200 - Chapter 8 8
(Need to keep track. Also I changed my mind the time skip will be after the integration of Arills personal team. Remember the Allies/Lackeys I mentioned by name they are gonna come back also he has been keeping steady contact because it was relieved as an ongoing mission to maintain at least five of them as allies/lackeys and yaaaay we hit five thousand also it would probably be better to exclude scenes I can’t explain well so lets hope for the best.)
It was a dark and musty area that was pitch black strangely enough Dreamy’s ability block out detection. Though it wasn’t fully developed or as good as his cousins he was good enough to help them sneak in. They entered through an alleyway side entrance already planned to be between the changing of shifts and to allow for easy access to the building.
These government buildings were more like a fort or a bunch of war rooms than any sort of political building. First of all there were five ways in on this one, the roof, which would take a wind Talentee to safely reach or escape from, back door, which is the second best guarded entrance considering a few to many people attempted entering the predictable spot look for food or really anything, front door, which obviously wouldn’t work though most weren’t obviously part of the resistance their mysterious presence in such a place would make them highly suspected if they could past the door not to mention they would be seen as regular citizens anyways so they most likely wouldn’t be let in and a window close to the weapons port which is where they entered. It was almost in the alley but had several detectors and guards in the vicinity as it did House a great majority of their weapons. Even weapons had use if you have the right talent.
The group consisted of Arill, Derrick, Dreamy, a wind talent user and a scan talent user. (Should I add a description of each mentioned talent in a chapter then additional ones in the authors notes?)
They were very prepared and easily snuck through the building using the scan Talentee to spot people and Dreamy to hide them from view while the wind talent hid their sound. Arill was the newest on the mission but he was in no way inferior to to those on his team disregarding Derrick. Even still they had to depend on the wind Talentee and Dreamy more than they would another mission due to the additional guards compared to the places the scanner and wind talent where used to. This also meant that despite the fact that they were rather well hidden in this base that not even the most trained spies of the
pre-talent era could have successfully traverse the wind and scan talent users were quickly tired out. As guards where rapidly approaching and the wind Talentee as well as Dreamy’s talent where rapidly dwindling. Arill swiftly decided to draw their attention. He threw his gun at the forward most oncoming guard and ran in a separate direction towards the “panacea “, which oh so happened to be opposite of the Information and maps storage.

In the dark corridor strangely enough there was a single man that had also invaded the base a leader of a different group. The Twilight Lynx’s they wanted to overthrow the current government but not because it oppressed the weak. Noooo that would be to kind they wanted an absolute dictatorship with their leader totally in control.
The Leader, Terral Kylen, was very interested in not only finding what the government has on the Midnight foxes but third cure so Terral could cure his sister who they have in a half morphed barely zombie state. I knew where the cure was and was ready to go in and take it when I saw a youthful boy rush towards me (only now realizing I’ve never give a proper description of Arill) he was short, less than 165 cm tall with blond hair slightly tanned skin and rather thin though you could see muscles building it didn’t make him look particularly masculine. The kid appeared to be in a hurry though and had yet to notice me, looking behind himself I couldn’t see his face.
“Well isn’t that interesting” I whisper quietly then went into the test lab. {Now how do I know which one is the cure}
/
Looking behind him the guards have stopped following but had followed him rather far making it practically impossible for them to impede the main team’s progress.
“Whew” out of breath Arill stops outside a door. “This is the one location my interface gave me a guide to so it should be where the cure is” he whispers under his breath then steps in quietly. Currently it appeared unattended and simply enough Arill grabbed a vial and prepared to leave.
“Why did you pick that one?” A vice from behind whispers as Arill arms are yanked to his backside restricting combat or resistance the vial swiftly removed from his hands.
“And why would I tell you” Arill growls upset that he lost a vial of elixir.
“Hahahaha, are you mad? Well you don’t have to answer my question I’ll just be taking this. See ya later, kitten, hahah” The mysterious man left laughing and Arill promptly took another vial carefully hid it and ran to the drop off point. However the team had already left. Arill escaped and traveled through nearby allies till he was far from the government base.
1-2 hours prior/
“We can’t just leave him” Derrick whispers ready to rush after Arill.
Are you stupid he did that to buy time and your going to waste it berates Dreamy
Not only that but if we go that direction all of us will undoubtedly be captured. Then the four band together to drag Derrick to gather the materials(what they came for) and left. Though Dreamy was reluctant the scanner and wind user convinced him Arill will either get out himself or have already been captured. They return to base with a now depressed and lethargic Derrick.
(I say I will shorten the chapter then don’t shorten them at all . don’t worry I will.)
