“Are you sure I can join the team?”
Xi En’s question stunned the girls.
“What do you mean?” Vivian asked, slightly puzzled. “Do you have any concerns?”
Xi En’s immediate response was to answer honestly yes, he did. However, it would be considered rude of him to do so. Nonetheless, he did it with tact.
“The members of this team are all female Adventurers. It may be inconvenient when a male Adventurer like me joins the group, right?”
What Xi En meant was that they might have concerns of their own regarding him.
Vivian and her girls did not expect Xi En to bring this up. She ended up smiling.
“We’ll be affected more or less.” Vivian answered sincerely. “But we have actually gone through quite a number of similar scenarios. It was arranged by the guild this time too. Whether it’s for the sake of our duties or the obligation of a senior Adventurer, we should be responsible for training the new recruits.”
