Wild Crimson Rose: Beloved Handyman Princes Courtesan Wife - Chapter 408
“Well… I think it should just fit both groups, though it’ll be tight. And we’d need to move the girl’s body.” He grunted. Shen Tianyu thought he might be squatting to inspect the body or move it.
“Do you need more people to help you move the body? It’s better to check out the path out of there in case something lies in wait. Actually, don’t move yet. We’ll send more people down to help scout out the path and then we can throw the body somewhere before having the rest descend. The problem would be, though, the other groups would definitely see us going down en masse. In that case it really won’t fit everyone since they’ll probably follow us.” Shen Tianyu’s brain was churning as she thought about what they should do next.Find authorized novels in , faster updates, better experience, Please click <a href=”#%E2%80%99s-courtesan-wife_11622167006444805/tianhao-ruins-(16)_52688693655290630″>#%E2%80%99s-courtesan-wife_11622167006444805/tianhao-ruins-(16)_52688693655290630</a> for visiting.
“How about we send a small group to scout out the situation first before the rest follows? If there isn’t any danger, then it doesn’t matter if the parasites follow since they’d cause a ruckus again otherwise.” Elder Yu advised.
“Then, we’ll do what you said, Elder. You three and you two.” Shen Tianyu pointed to five of the older members that she remembers seeing around.
“You guys go down there and help scout out the path. If there’s any irregularity, contact us through the talismans.” She took out five more Communication Talismans and handed them to the five.
Without any waver in their expressions, the five each took a talisman and jumped down into the pool of liquid. This was a bigger group compared to the couple that went before and the fact that people from the same group went down again after the first caught the eyes of many of the other groups. However, fear of the unknown was still holding them back so they just watched and didn’t dare take a leap of faith.
Shen Tianyu noticed their gaze but didn’t show any indication, agreeing with Elder Yu that they should just let them do what they wanted. At the very least, they can serve as cannon fodder and meat shields down the line. After all, just because they haven’t been attacked so far doesn’t mean there aren’t any dangers at all further in.
“Reporting to the Young Miss, we have reached solid ground.” A different voice from before echoed from the Receiving Talisman in Shen Tianyu’s hand.
“Okay. Meet up with Yun Tianhao and them to discuss what to do. No need to report everything to me, just tell us when you guys are done and your findings.” She spoke back into the talisman.
The Communication and Receiving Talisman worked like walkie-talkies here. Before, there had only been one-way communication talisman and users would have to send another that recorded their reply, which was not much different than sending letters. Shen Tianyu had made these talismans in cooperation with the elders in charge of Ancient Script, including the Head Elder of the Talisman Branch of Yaodu. These two types of talismans only exist within Yaodu and are only used by their people. Though it wasn’t necessarily nature-defying but being an invention that belonged to them, the members and elders were strict in its distribution and regulation. Though, Shen Tianyu herself does not see the reason for this, even to this day. Any of these two types of talismans that appear on markets, black or secular, are either bought back or forcefully retrieved by other members. Usually, members would not leak these outside of the organization so those that do appear are stolen.
Though the outside world more or less is aware of the existence of these talismans, no one has been able to replicate them. There are a few other big horses that have tried to forcefully incur a sample but the experiments conducted before their retrieval was never successful. They do not have the guts to go to war with Yaodu head-on, especially with it’s rise in the recent years and forcing Masters of Ancient Script was never a good idea since they had as much clout as doctors. And even if younger disciples have started learning how to draw these, it was far from the ones that Shen Tianyu has been given to use. Though she did not have a clear grasp of Ancient Script, she did have enough of a grasp on radio waves and spiritual energy for these to work. With some additional help, of course.
‘To put it simply, we replaced wave frequencies with spiritual energy and the electrical interior with Ancient Script.’ Shen Tianyu thought as she held onto her slip of paper that was much thinner than the walkie-talkies she had seen in her other world.
“Reporting to the Young Miss, the path from the cavern leads into another cave with a much higher ceiling. There are torches attached to the walls that automatically light up when we enter. There doesn’t seem to be another exit or entrance so we surmise there’s another puzzle here. We are leaving it to Shao Wei as there seems to be Ancient Script written on the platform in the center of the cave. As far as we can see, there aren’t any dangers here. And this place should be big enough to accommodate us in addition to the pests.” It seems they had already picked up on Elder Yu’s language.
Shao Wei was the youth that was under the tutelage of the Elder of the Talisman Branch that had went down with Yun Tianhao.
“Alright. Then, we’ll start coming down. Did you guys move the body out of the way?” Shen Tianyu already had one hand on the railing, ready to flip over.
“Yes, we’ve moved the body to a corner of the bigger cave. Be careful as there is a rock jutting out of the ground in the first cavern, where the girl had died.” The voice replied back.
“Okay, got it.” Shen Tianyu responded, then turned back to her and Rong Jian’s people.
“There doesn’t seem to be anything dangerous down there so let’s decide on the order of who goes down, shall we?” She looked from the heavily black clad group to the ones wearing a variety of colors of clothing that was still convenient to move in.
