Womanizing True Immortal - CH 132
The group of people “escorted” Yang Tian, Ci La and Wang Bao towards a large house. Although it was more apt to call it an altar. In front of it were two large statues of a man and a woman. The man had a three story tower in his hand and he had a dignified face. The woman wore a veil and was holding a lamp while looking far out in the distance.
Yang Tian knew very well who these statues represent. They were the Right and Left Dharmic Guardian of the Venom Clan in the Immortal Realm. Don’t be fool by their dignified appearance. The man was a devil that can kill without blinking an eye. He had massacred countless lives to nourish his Gu poison. The woman on the other hand was a whore. Or as Yang Tian would use a modern term – “Mother of the world”.
The two statues appearing here made Yang Tian a bit queasy. Could this Venom Clan here be a branch of the Grand Venom in the Immortal Realm? If that was true, then that means they would have statue of “her” in there.
The reality wasn’t far off from Yang Tian’s thoughts. The only difference was that it wasn’t statue but a painting. In the painting was a woman, turning away from the audience and showing her back. Her head was tilted up into the sky as if she was looking into the distance. Underneath her were countless small black butterflies. Many people wouldn’t know of the butterflies here but if it was at the Spirit Realm or even the Immortal Realm, these butterflies were infamous. They were the Perfect Moon Butterfly.
According to legends, a fully groưn Perfect Moon Butterfly had the strength rivaling that of a Tribulation Transcendence Cultivator. Such a large swarm of butterflies, even if a cultivator had reached Hallowed Form stage or even Cosmic Avatar, they could only run away.
However Yang Tian didn’t care about any of that. The only he thing that he noticed was the woman in the picture. Although he couldn’t see her face, Yang Tian could still tell that it’d be cold as ice and full of loneliness. It could make anyone feel an infinite sorrow.
– Han Shuang.
The escorts saw that Yang Tian was just standing there absentmindedly and was furious. One of the men slammed his staff on Yang Tian’s back. Before the staff could even touch Yang Tian’s body, the person immediately turned into a puddle of blood. It was quick and silent without even a wisp of sound.
The group of people were wide eyes and immediately retreated backwards, posturing to attack. However there bodies were still shaking. The scene just now was far too frightening.
Yang Tian already awaken from his memories. When he saw the people around him frightened and angered, he couldn’t help but be perplexed. After he turned around and saw the pool of blood on the ground, Yang Tian smiled:
– Ai, my sincere apologies. That was just my body’s reflex. I didn’t mean to kill him. However you shouldn’t just suddenly attack me out of the blue.
When everyone was still hesitant to attack him, a voice rang out:
– An esteemed guest has arrived, why are you all being so inconsiderate in welcoming him? Come, bring him here quickly.
Yang Tian looked up and saw a kid about 8 or 9 talking. With just a glance, Yang Tian could tell that this was an early Golden Core Cultivator. His true age was probably more than 400.
Yang Tian found a chair and sat down before looking at the child:
– You are the Patriarch of the Venom Clan?
– That’s right, this old man is Bai Tong Zhi. And you are?
A child calling himself an old man, it was truly a funny thing. However none of the people around them have that thought. They only showed the utmost respect in front of Bai Tong Zhi.
– I am Yang Tian. The reason that I’m here, you can ask those two.
Bai Tong Zhi nodded and turned to Ci La and Wang Bao:
– Why have you brought this fellow Daoist here?
Ci La was also frightened by the bloody scene from before and inwardly thanked his lucky stars. If not for Wang Bao’s plan, he would’ve tried to kill Yang Tian when they first met. Ci La knelt down and retold the story in a hoarse voice:
– My lord Patriarch, he is called Yang Tian. He was the one that crippled my disciple’s cultivation. He also raped my wife and killed my son. Not only that, he used poison to threatened me, wanting me to lead him to the Venom Clan to steal treasures…
The sip of tea inside Yang Tian’s mouth almost went flying out. When did he do all those misdeeds? This old man was old and filthy, his wife is probably not much of a catch so how could Yang Tian lust after her? He didn’t mind being a murderous robber but the sin of “Eating trash when too hungry” is something unacceptable to him.
Ci La was still passionately listing out all of Yang Tian’s sins. When the finale hits, he stood up and pointed at Yang Tian:
– Yang Tian, you didn’t think that I dare say all of this out loud, did you? I have long found a cure for your poison. Now you are standing inside the Venom Clan. Even if you are powerful, only death awaits you.
As he said that, he once again knelt before Bai Tong Zhi:
– Patriarch, please be my judge. My entire family died a dog’s death. The situation back then…
Even before Ci La finished his sentence, his voice went silent. His entire body was similar to the person that tried to hit Yang Tian and silently turned into a pool of blood. Yang Tian shook his head:
– You made two mistakes. First, you could’ve accused me of any sort of other crimes and I wouldn’t have batted an eye. However you shouldn’t have said that I raped your wife. That is a stain on my honor. Secondly, you shouldn’t have pointed your finger at my face.
Bai Tong Zhi didn’t think that Yang Tian dared to strike right in front of him. His white face turned bright red. He slammed heavily downwards and table, which was made with precious wood, splitted into multiple different pieces. If he wasn’t so rattled by Yang Tian’s attack just now, he wouldn’t immediately attacked.
– Yang Tian, what is the meaning of this? You dared kill a witness in front of me? Did you think that our Venom Clan was empty?
– Ah, no need to be so mad. Didn’t I give my reason for killing him? Besides, isn’t there another person here?
Yang Tian turned to Wang Bao and smiled. This was Yang Tian giving him a choice. If he knew what was good for him, Yang Tian could give Qin Xue face and spare his life.
Wang Bao saw the stare Yang Tian gave and had goosebumps. Bai Tong Zhi also turned his attention to him and said in a clear voice:
– You are the disciple that Ci La took from the outside. Can you verify that what he said was true?
This wasn’t a hard question, no harder than a multiple choice question. All he had to do was to answer yes or no. However the result was something else entirely. In a multiple choice question, if you get the wrong answer, you’ll fail the test. Wang Bao was in the exact same situation, only if he gets the answer wrong, he’ll lose his life.
Seeing Wang Bao’s silence, Bai Tong Zhi immediately let loose his aura. How could a mortal like Wang Bao take the pressure from a Golden Core Cultivator. His entire body was slammed flat into the ground and his eyes stared openly at the Patriarch.
Bai Tong Zhi retracted his aura and said coldly:
– I’ll give you one last change, speak.
After experiencing Bai Tong Zhi’s powers firsthand, Wang Bao made his decision. Bai Tong Zhi was that powerful and this is the Venom Clan’s territory so even if Yang Tian was more powerful than they thought, he would still be helpless. If Yang Tian died then the treasures on his body would be taken by Bai Tong Zhi. Wang Bao played a part in this and was a loyal servant so he would get something from this.
In the end, it all came down to human greed. Wang Bao stood up and tears flowed out of his eyes:
– My lord Patriarch, everything my master said true. This Yang Tian is an immoral criminal. There hasn’t been a crime that he hasn’t committed. Today he’s here to steal the Venom Clan’s treasures. My master tried to stop him but was sadly murdered as you just saw. I beg of you to be the arbiter and take justice into your own hand so that my master’s death was not in vain.
Seeing Wang Bao’s choice, Yang Tian sighed:
– Xue-er, it’s not that I didn’t give a chance. It’s just that he didn’t know to grab on to it.
