- 1 Prologue of The Loli's Tears Floods Blue City Arc
The Broken Earth Kingdom. The capital of the kingdom, Flowing City. Clouds Cutter Castle, in a secret martial arts training room.
Under the light of the Luminous Spheres, a mother and a daughter, both human, are facing each other. The daughter seems to be seventeen years old, and the mother, twenty-five years old. Of course, their appearances don’t reflect their actual ages since both are cultivators of Complex Energy.
Rose Alch, the daughter, looks at her mother, Angela Alch, with shyness in her posture and fear in her clear green eyes. This is not because Rose Alch has done some mischief, it’s simply because in The Broken Earth Kingdom you can count with just one hand the number of people who would not be afraid in front of the queen of The Broken Earth Kingdom due to the suffocating aura of power that she exudes.
“Why are you interrupting my training?” Angela Alch asks her daughter coldly.
Rose Alch shivers slightly, shocked by how intimidating those words are when coming from her mother, but she still gathers all her courage and says with a slightly weak voice: “I request permission to go to The Land of Monsters.”
Angela Alch’s right eyebrow rises quietly while she speaks: “Don’t tell me, you can’t stand the pressure of your position as princess anymore, due to your weakness, and in the end, you’ve decided… to throw away your life?”
“I-I know that the probability of dying there is very high, but being in a place where there is no Complex Energy and is full of dangers perhaps could help me to breakthrough this bottleneck that I been carrying for twenty years now.” Rose Alch says while firmly clenching her little white fists.
The room turns silent. As the seconds elapses, Rose Alch, bit by bit, feels increasingly anxious and her heartbeats become faster and faster; but thanks to Rose Alch’s well-trained Awakened Skill, Angela Alch could not hear any sound coming from Rose Alch’s body.
Finally, Angela Alch turns around to give her back to Rose Alch, and she then says with a hint of anger in her voice: “It was very clear that you were and are laughably weak, and now it seems that you also are severely stupid!” Angela Alch lightly moves her head to look at Rose Alch with a single eye and continues: “You’re no longer worthy to carry the surname Alch. From now on you are no longer Rose Alch but only Rose. Get out of here, and do whatever you want.”
Rose sucks a fist of cold air and stays stiff. She didn’t have much hope in her mother giving her permission to leave, and now it seems that she could leave but it will be forever. After processing her situation a bit more carefully, Rose calms down and then could not help but to raise the right end of her pink lips. After all, to Rose, her freedom is a great blessing and also a necessary blessing to achieve her dreams.
“Understood. I’ll start to arrange my stuff and I’ll leave tomorrow morning. Mother thanks for all, I’ll always remember gratefully all you’d done for me and everything you gave me.” Rose says these words while determination shines through her entire body, then, unhurried, she gets out from the secret training room.
Once alone, Angela Alch proceeds to sit in a lotus position as she lets out a delicate sigh, and, having her eyes full of sadness, she mutters softly to herself: “My dear Rose… surpass yourself: The only one that could stop you. Don’t disappoint me, I’ve always expected great things from you.”

Southwest of The Broken Earth Kingdom. Blue City, the main port city of the kingdom. In a private chamber.
The chamber has a lot of bookshelves in it, there are also piles of books on its floor, and at its center there is a big desk.
A little being that looks like a six years old girl, is sitting at that big desk. She has long white hair, almost down to her waist, and she has silver eyes, and pale skin. Her name is Aly Blue.
Right now, Aly Blue is working on a blueprint. She is drawing the structure of a complex battleship.
Sadly, even though she is doing what she loves the most to do, she looks like she would start to shed sour tears at any moment.
Soon she finishes her work, so she gets up from the chair. She then begins to walk towards the exit of the chamber, but halfway, all of a sudden, she gets dizzy and weak, and, eventually, falls to the floor.
*Punm*
There is a dull sound when she hits the flat floor.
Aly Blue isn’t bothered in the slightest by the negligible pain from the fall, but still, she bites her lips hard as she starts to cry in agony and despair while she is yelling bitterly in her mind: (I know! I know! This is the consequence of my own choices! But is it really no hope!? I have only a few months to live, but I still want to do a myriad of things, what can I do in such short span of time that I have left!? It’s just not enough! It doesn’t even come close to be enough…!)

North border of The Broken Earth Kingdom. Lurep Village, in a room of some inn.
The morning’s gentle light pass through the only window of the poorly decorated room, it illuminates a trembling opened hand, which is holding a small glass vial that contains some yellowish liquid substance.
Suddenly, as the devil’s soft whisper, a resentful voice echoes through the room: “Hehehe… I can’t stop myself from shaking… Of course, it can’t be helped, after all, very soon, I’ll be able to tear apart his heart… Hehehe…”

Somewhere, in a closed room.
*Drip*… *drip*…*drip*…
Drops of blood fall to the floor from a table that glows slightly with a mystical dark blue light. On the table there are thirty-seven swords, also emitting mystical light but this is white, all of them are penetrating the body of a naked young man.
Some swords are nailed in his arms, others in his legs and most of them in his trunk.
The face and body of this mysterious young man seem to be eighteen years old but his bright, deep violet eyes seem older, much older… almost eternal. Oh, his eyes, so mature, so overly mature that they’ve turned into two rotten things, so long ago, oh, his eyes, unrivaled with others in their abilities to harbor loneliness, pain, sadness, melancholy… anger and hatred. Those eyes, oh, those eyes that are able to create poets on a whim, oh, those eyes which are always shining desperately with a light of something that has gone far beyond the madness.
Suddenly, the mysterious young man begins to move slightly to breathe in the oxygenless air, this action causes him to start bleeding more profusely. Then just as he finishes breathing in, his hoarse voice fills the room.
“Larana… larana… He’s coming, he’s close. He comes alone, he comes wounded. He comes walking, he comes staggering. He comes carrying the pain that he wants to share…
Larana… larana… Escape flying, while you still have your wings. Escape running, while you still have your legs. Escape swimming, while you still have your arms. Escape crawling, while you still have your chest…
Larana… larana… Because when he arrives, it will rain tears. Because when he arrives, it will rain blood. Because when he arrives, the earth will be burned… Because when he arrives, the skies will be broken…”

Rose leaves completely alone the Clouds Cutter Castle.
Meanwhile, on a high wall, two goblins are seeing how Rose’s silhouette becomes more and more distant.
“So it’s true. Rose Al– No, I should say just Rose, she has finally been discarded by her family because of her uselessness.” A young voice sounds, in a mocking tone.
“It’s like you say, young master Ben.” This time it’s a mature voice. “*Sigh*… but it’s a pity, to think that such a monstrous talent that shocked all the Four Great Families of The Broken Earth Kingdom has ended in such a sorry state.”
“Ha! Pity!? It was a gift from the heavens that she has been stuck in the First Level Initial Awaken! If she had continued to grow in strength at that rate back then, the enemy kingdoms would have acted and the delicate balance of the war would have been broken. That would have started a total war with a completely unpredictable outcome!” Ben represses his subordinate for his light words.
“Of course, I understand that. Excuse me for speak without thinking first, young master Ben.” The subordinate responds quickly to apologize.
Ben nods lightly. After a few moments, he orders to his subordinate: “Send Dani Zelu, tell him: Follow her from afar to avoid being noticed by some possible protector that the queen could have sent.” At this moment, on the face of Ben, a sinister smile appears, his eyes become ones full of malice, and he then continues speaking: “Once we confirm that Rose has no protector, we will be entirely sure that the queen has forsaken her, at that time I will abduct her and let her become my little toy!”
