World’s Mystery - Chapter 91
“i believe it’s your turn to fulfill the deal”
“Before we begin, drink this” i said handing prof stine a drink which max had handed me
“what is in this?” prof stine asked as he eyed the drink suspiciously.
“normal apple juice” i said and he drank “with a bit of truth serum” i added
he spit out the drink “WHAT THE HELL!” he yelled
“we need to know the truth besides it isn’t supposed to kill you”
“isn’t supposed to?! have you even tested this stuff”
“not sure. max, do you think it has been tested”
“max” i said only to turn and find max asleep.
“guess we will never know” i said turning back to face prof stine.
“ask the one you were speaking through the earpiece” he said
“like i said we will never know” i said
“now let’s begin.”
“are you the killer?”
hesitantly he said, “no…”
“this stuff that James gave me does work” i thought
“where is the killer right now?”
“I don’t know”
“since when do you know the killer?”
“a few months before the killing began”
“did you kill anyone?”
“no”
“did you help the killer kill?”
“yes”
“why?”
“huh..what do you mean why?”
“why did you take the blame? why did you frame yourself as the killer?”
“isn’t it obvious, it was to take her place?”
“why go to prison for her?”
“because i care for her”
“what is the killer’s name?”
“luna”
“what is your daughter’s name?”
“luna”
IMPORTANT NOTICE
so I have been thinking for a while about scraping the entire first volume and just move on to the next volume or rewrite it. and during my dilemma, i went to my mom for help, and even though I hate to admit it she was right(this time) so I am not scraping this volume because even though I hate the chapters I wrote two years ago because one I love the characters and the story and two I am going to hate what I am writing right now two years from now. i want to rush the story so that I can move on to the next volume but I don’t have the heart to do it and also because I still like writing the interactions so the story is going to move as usual but might speed up a bit as I know the entire plot of this volume, unlike a year ago. Also, there will be few changes in my writing in the second volume.
