Would You Like To Join The Magic Academy - Chapter 22
Chapter 22 The Happiness of an Otaku Is That Simple
Chu Xiaoxiao was pleasantly surprised.
It was an exquisitely made magic necklace. It was rose-gold and had beautiful patterns. From time to time, it would reflect faint light.
In the middle was a thumb-sized magic gem.
“Cousin put it on for me.”
Chu Xiaoxiao sat in front of the dressing table and lifted her hair.
Jiang Han held the magic necklace from behind and circled around Chu Xiaoxiao’s white swan-like neck to put it on her.
There was a faint fragrance in her hair.
“Alright, I’m done. Take a look. How is it?”
Chu Xiaoxiao looked in the mirror and looked left and right. It was so beautiful.
Jiang Han could not help but praise, “Cousin, you’re so beautiful. With this necklace, you’re even more beautiful.”
Chu Xiaoxiao said happily, “Thank you, cousin, for the gift. I like it very much.”
After saying that, she turned around and held Jiang Han’s face. She gave him a peck on the cheek. She did not forget to add on.
“This is a reward for you. Don’t let your imagination run wild.”
“Yes, yes. I won’t let my imagination run wild. Can you give me two more kisses?”
“Scram! Stinky hooligan!”
Chu Xiaoxiao continued, “Cousin, after wearing this necklace, I feel that my perception of magic elements has increased a lot!”
Jiang Han nodded affirmatively. “Of course. It can also increase spiritual power and reduce the speed of casting spells.”
“Really?”
Chu Xiaoxiao couldn’t wait to try it out.
As she chanted, a water ball appeared beside her.
As she continued to chant, more than ten water balls floated behind Chu Xiaoxiao.
“It’s true. It has indeed reduced the chanting time by a lot!”
Chu Xiaoxiao was pleasantly surprised.
Jiang Han continued, “Right, there’s another elf tree planted in our school building. Why don’t you come with me to take a look?”
“Elf tree?” Chu Xiaoxiao nodded. “Alright, wait for me to change my clothes.”
“Turn your head around.”
Jiang Han placed his hand on his eyes and covered them, habitually revealing a crack.
Chu Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes at Jiang Han, changed her clothes, and said, “Jimmy, let’s go and see the elf tree. Where are you hiding?”
Just as Chu Xiaoxiao finished speaking, a cute little elf flew out from the fruit basket on the coffee table.
The elf was holding a large strawberry and was munching on it.
When the little elf saw Jiang Han, she flew to his side and circled around him twice before Jiang Han’s little elf flew out as well.
The two little elves met and chattered in a language that the two of them could not understand.
Chu Xiaoxiao asked, “Cousin, what’s the name of your little elf?”
“Dog Egg.”
Jiang Han replied.
Chu Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes at Jiang Han. What kind of name was that? It was so old-fashioned.
Dog Egg and Jimmy were having a great time.
Jiang Han and Chu Xiaoxiao rode on their magic brooms and flew out of the window towards the direction of the school building.
The towering tree required more than ten people to hug it together.
The old tree was verdant, and its trunks were lined up in rows. A group of fireflies surrounded it, and it was glowing.
“It’s too beautiful!”
Chu Xiaoxiao was extremely surprised when she saw the elf tree.
Jimmy and Dog Egg flew towards the elf tree and happily circled around it.
Chu Xiaoxiao came to the tree and felt the wondrous magic elements.
Jiang Han circled around the tree and felt that something was missing.
The elf tree was considered an iconic existence at Hogwarts University.
They had to make it special. For example, they had to set up a few swings under the elf tree. The students could read books under the tree and feel the wonders of magic.
Then, they would make some tags and write down the students’ names and tie them on the branches. It would be a beautiful memory.
Jiang Han shared his thoughts with Chu Xiaoxiao.
Chu Xiaoxiao clapped her hands in agreement. “Cousin, you’re quite good at it. I’ll get someone to make the tags and swing tomorrow. We’ll install them here.”
The next day. Under the elf tree, the students sat together, singing, reading, and exchanging magic.
Jiang Han even organized a bonfire party.
A person must be in a good mood when they study. When they are in a good mood, only then would the person have the motivation to study.
Jiang Han’s objective was to be happy. Studying was not about rote memorization.
Amidst the laughter, they spent a happy weekend.
Every weekend, they would rest for a day, and everyone would be free to move about or leave school to go home.
In the evening, Jiang Han returned to the office and thought about how to enrich the students’ daily lives.
For example, setting up a few interest groups.
They could let the students learn dancing, singing, or other things that could help cultivate their emotions after class.
Jiang Han called Qin Yanran to the office.
He said that he wanted Qin Yanran to work and study part-time.
In fact, Qin Yanran’s treatment was no different from that of a student.
Other than coming to Jiang Han’s office to clean up after school, she spent the rest of her time studying magic with her classmates.
Moreover, Qin Yanran was the fourth-ranked student who had mastered magic elements.
She also successfully obtained a magic broom.
“Good morning, Principal.”
Qin Yanran was no longer restrained.
The principal was still easy to get along with. He was easygoing and gentle, but he was not very serious…
Jiang Han’s expression was serious. “Student Qin Yanran, I remember you said before that you knew how to do otaku dance?”
Qin Yanran’s face was slightly red.
She knew how to do otaku dance.
However, it would be very embarrassing to do an otaku dance for such a handsome principal. She couldn’t help but feel her heart beat faster.
Besides, which girl would be able to resist a tall, handsome, and talented boy?
“I know how to do an otaku dance… Principal, do you want to see it?”
Jiang Han nodded. “I want to set up a club so that students who like dancing and are interested in it can join it.”
“After school, you should have some interests and hobbies, right?”
Jiang Han said seriously.
“How about this, you can dance first, and I’ll take a look. I’ve already thought of a BGM for
you.”
Before Qin Yanran could say anything, Jiang Han started playing “The Pure Land of Bliss”. It was a perfect dance for an otaku goddess!
“Student Qin Yanran, please start your performance!”
Jiang Han leaned against the chair and waited.
It had to be said that regardless of whether it was Qin Yanran’s looks or voice, she was an otaku’s favorite!
Along with the music, she danced gracefully, slowly getting into the mood from her previous shyness.
The Pure Land of Bliss made Jiang Han’s heart burst with joy.
As a loyal otaku dance fan, Jiang Han gave Qin Yanran a score in his heart. This dance posture could score 90 points.
After the dance, Jiang Han said in a serious tone.
“Student Qin Yanran, your dance is indeed good, but it’s a little boring.”
Qin Yanran lowered her head shyly. “I’m not a professional dancer… My dances might not be that good.”
Jiang Han shook his head. “No, no, no, it’s not bad. It’s just that in terms of temperament, it’s not that good.”
Qin Yanran lowered her head with some inferiority complex and did not say a word.
