Wrong Girl - Chapter 6- Messing
As their graduation was coming up, Scarlett didn’t care too much. Her mother was in a coma and that’s all she cared about.
She was walking into the hospital. As she was approaching her mothers room she stopped. She heard talking.
“Mom….I’m so sorry….” Marcus was holding his mothers hand as he cried. “I know you will never hate me…but I was too scared to tell you how I felt inside..” he took a deep breath. “That’s why I’m so sorry to tell you that I’m running away. And I never want you to worry about me. I have a boyfriend. He will take care of me. I promise. He loves me ma.” he wiped his eyes. “I’ll be okay” he stood. “I love you” he grabbed his bags.
Scarlett stood in the door as he approached it. She crossed her arms. “Are you for real?”
He sighed. “I know you don’t understand.”
“Whats there to understand Marcus?” She got angrier as she knew he was being a scared big baby. “I know this is hard okay? But you are not alone. You have me!”

“Just stop. I don’t want to listen to this.” he pushed passed her.
She walked a little in. She stared at her mother. “You know Marcus…”
He stopped.
“They say having a twin means you are closer than anything else….” she swallowed as she held her tears. “that no one can separate them. But…” her tears ran down her face. “I’ve never felt that way with you”
He cried as he walked away.
When she couldn’t hear his foot steps she broke down. She cried and cried.
“You okay?”
Scarlett turned to see the doctor that helped her with her mother. “No…”
He went to her. “Shhh” he held her as she cried. “No need to cry”
She slowly pulled away. “My brother left…so now I’m alone with her….and you know whats going to happen when she wakes up?” she sat in a chair next to her mother. “I’m going to be blamed for all of it…” She cried. “Its never fare…”
He patted her shoulder. “I promise I’ll be here when she wakes up with you”
“Thank you” she smiled. “I got school tomorrow.” she stood. “I have to get home now if I want to get some sleep.” she started for the door.
“Hey wait” he walked up to her pulling something out of his pocket. “Here” he handed her a big wad of cash.
“No I cant” she refused.
“Seriously please take it. Buy something new. Blow them away tomorrow” he put in her pocket as he walked out.
She sighed. She pulled out the cash. “Damn that’s a lot.” she smiled big.
A little later~
Scarlett was walking down the street. She was going to take the doctors advice. She would blow them away. So she went into a hair salon.
“What do you want baby girl?” A toned man asked as he sat Scarlett down.
She looked at herself in the mirror. “Make me look like a whole new person. Like someone that people look at and say wow who is she?” she laughed.
The man laughed as well. “Girl don’t we all”
As he cut, dyed and blew dried her hair Scarlett was excited. When he got done he turned her to face herself.
“Wow…” she stared at her refection. Her once black hair was now shorter. It was layered. She also had red under her black. “Damn…” as she lifted her hair. “Yep you are getting a big tip.”
“Awe why thank you!” he said pretending to cry.
After she left she hit up some clothes shops. She soon went home.
“Awe” she laid back on her bed. Her room was filled with bags from different stores. “That was great.”
The Next Day~
As Scarlett hit the halls of her school everyone stared at her. It was as if slow motion was happening. She felt happy. She felt pretty. Even though last time she was here she cussed out the whole school. But she didn’t care. She was walking on air. Some guys winked at her as she passed. Others bit their lip. Scarlett knew she was hot. She didn’t give a fuck if someone wanted to hate on her for now liking who she was.
She went to her locker. But when she opened it letters fell out. “Shit” she went to grab them when someone came over to help. They both picked up the letters. “Thank yo-” she turned to thank the person but instead she froze. Austin stood there smiling.
“You’re welcome…” he quickly walked away.
She watched him. ‘Is he still not over the other day?’ she laughed. “Whatever. I honestly dont even know what I saw in him.” she closed her locker. She soon caught some people walking up to her in the corner of her eye. She turned to see it was the red haired girl. “This better be good…” she whispered.
“Hello” The red girl said trying her best to look away.
“Hi…” Scarlett didn’t know what to say to her.
“Nice outfit.”
“Thanks. I just got-”
“Its so last season” The girl laughed at her. The group around her laughed with her.
“You got to be fucking kidding me. Okay you know what?” Scarlett was angry. Even after the girl poured her heart out she was just going to use her. But as soon as Scarlett was about to say something another group of girls walked between Scarlett and the girls. They faced the red haired girl.
“Can we help you?” The girl in the middle asked as she pushed the red haired girl. “Because it looks to me that you are bothering my friend?”
The red haired girl rolled her eyes. “Whatever” she walked away with her group.
The group of girls in front of Scarlett turned to face her.
“Listen if she gives you shit again come to us” she blew Scarlett a kiss as she walked away.
“What the hell just happened?” Scarlett was so confused. Why was everyone so nice to her now? She shook her head. “Just get to class. You are hot now. No need to focus on non sense” she noticed a girl looking at her. “What? You got a problem with me too?” the girl got scared and ran. She sighed. “What is wrong with you….” she softly hit her forehead. “Lets just get to class”
At The Hospital~
The doctor sat next to Scarlett’s mothers bed. He held her hand.
“Man…I really didn’t mean for you to get hurt” he waved his hand over her body. She awoke.
She quickly freaked. “mmmm”
“Shh” he bent over her. “Everything is okay” he whispered in her ear.
Suddenly her eyes rolled back. She started to shake.
He stood straight. He smiled. “Good girl…”
Nurses ran in.
“Shes dying! Hurry up!”
The man started to act normal. “Come on! This woman will not die!”
