Phil Coulson had been working for his congressman cousin brother Bob. Phil Coulson mainly worked as security for his cousin brother Bob. At the same time Phil Coulson was gathering evidence against Umbrella Corporation. Much of what Phil Coulson could gather was that Umbrella Corporation was a legitimate multi level corporation involved in life sciences. Nothing illegal like zombies could be found except that they do bribe the Congress and Senate to get their drugs approved faster by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). With these bribery evidence which every single pharmaceutical company does, Phil Coulson called the only person that could possibly help him now, Nick Fury.

“Sir, is it you ?”, Phil Coulson said as he looked out into the shadow.

Out of the shadow appeared a black bald man with an eye patch, it was Nick Fury.

“Stand down Phil. It’s me Nick.”, Nick Fury said as he pulled up a cigar to smoke.

“Sir, you never smoked before.”, Phil Coulson said with a surprised look.

“There are many things I have never done before but times change and people change.”, Nick Fury said with a melancholy tone.

“Sir, the evidence of Umbrella Corporation’s bribery to get its drug approved faster.”, Phil Coulson said with pride.

“You do know that every single big pharma company out there does the same thing ?”, Nick Fury asked Phil Coulson as he smoked his cigar.

“Yes sir. But I believe Umbrella Corporation is a special case. If Shield was still around we could have taken it down like we took down Hydra.”, Phil Coulson said proudly.

“But sir…”, Phil Coulson said with a straight face.

Nick Fury took out a gun and shot a Phil Coulson on the spot. It was a tranquilliser gun. In it was filled with poison.

Phil Coulson fell down on the floor with a look of shock on his face.

“Sir… you betrayed me.”, Phil Coulson said in disbelief.

“Yes I did Phil. Yes I did.”, Nick Fury said with a sad tone.

“But why ? I thought you were one of the good guys.”, Phil Coulson said in shock.

“Phil, I was never one of the good guys. I was a bad man that did many bad things with the power of Shield. Now that Shield is gone, I sorta gotta change my ways a bit.”, Nick Fury said with a sadness in his tone.

“But why sir ?”, Phil Coulson asked as he lay there dying.

“I suppose you deserve to know. First off, Shield never had a chance. Even if we fought the organisation behind Umbrella Corporation we would never have won. They have total control of the world. In fact they even put in a black president, that’s pretty liberal of them. And they are putting in a dictator for China…”, Nick Fury said with pride.

“They are the Hand. Their beliefs are the same as my belief. The principle of the Hand is improve your lot in life through capitalism. The very thing I have been protecting all my life until I gave my right eye to. I have lost my life, my pride, my eye. All for what ? Just so some fuċkɨnġ pencil pushers up in capital hill can tell me what to do. Well the Hand tells the pencil pushers in capital hill what to do. We couldn’t win even if Shield was around, the Hand is not Hydra. The Hand is stronger and bigger than Hydra. The Hand has conquered the world long ago. The Hand was only worried we would disrupt their plans by exposing them.”, Nick Fury said with pride as he smoked his cigar.

“Sir, please tell me why you betrayed me ?”, Phil Coulson asked curiously.

“Sigh. I suppose you deserve to know. I already told you the Hand is bigger than Hydra. The Hand now controls a Hydra as well as Umbrella Corporation. However I didn’t know that. In fact the Hand led me to a faction of a Hydra under a Baron Von Strucker which they did not control. There someone I loved named Meatball was with me.”, Nick Fury said with a tinge of nostalgia.

“Meatball, sir ?”, Phil Coulson asked curiously.

“Yes. Meatball was the She Male that took care of me when the Winter Soldier almost killed me. When Shield was disbanded, she followed me to Europe to take down Baron Von Strucker’s Hydra. The fool that she was she confessed to me that she was with the Hand and if anything were to happen to her, the Hand could revive her. During our failed operation in Europe, she took a bullet for me. She died in my arms Phil. She died in my arms. I swore I would do anything to have her back. The only option for me was to bring her back to the Hand.”, Nick Fury said with a sad tone.

“Is she dead sir ? Is that why you are turning your back on America ?”, Phil Coulson asked curiously.

“No… she is pretty much alive. Come out Meatball.”, Nick Fury said with a smile.

“Ai ! Ya ! Nicky boy, I am suppose to be your ace in the hole ! Why you ask me to come out ?!”, Meatball the Asian She Male shouted out in anger as she stepped out of the shadow.

“How ?!”, Phil Coulson shouted out in shock.

“How ?”, Phil Coulson asked curiously.

“You are dying Phil and we are here to make sure you never revive again. So I suppose you deserve the right to know. The god of the Hand is able to bring the dead back to life and grant immortality. The god of the Hand also gives the Hand alien technology so advanced that the Hand is years ahead of anyone.”, Nick Fury said sadly.

“Why did you decide to take this mission to kill me ?”, Phil Coulson asked sadly.

“You deserve to know that but it’s not only just to kill you…”, Nick Fury said sadly.

“Bob…”, Phil Coulson uttered out.

“Yes to kill you and Bob. Your death would be made out to be an accident. A tragic heart attack here in the docks. As for Bob, suicide. Bob would shoot a bullet through his own head soon.”, Nick Fury said with a sad look.

“Why would Bob do that ?”, Phil Coulson asked curiously.

“As I said before Umbrella Corporation is under the Hand. And well Umbrella Corporation has stopped giving Bob his T-Cure. Unless Bob wants to infect his family and the general public he will shoot himself in the head tonight. He has been told he would be become a zombie tonight.”, Nick Fury said with a sad tone.

“Why ? Why do all this ?”, Phil Coulson asked passionately.

“I am happy for you Nick…”, Phil Coulson said his last words as he closed his eyes. Phil Coulson smiled as he was happy to have been killed by his friend Nick Fury rather than a total stranger.

“Come on Nicky boy. Don’t be sad. I give you nookie nookie bang bang tonight.”, Meatball said as she approached Nick Fury and hugged him.

“I would like that.”, Nick Fury said as he smiled and walked into the shadow with Meatball hugging him.
