You Plus Me Equals - Chapter 46:Special Episode 3
“You said, gods.” Sam retorted like anything else would be dumb, despite being almost half-naked in the school.
“Yeah, see I get yours, it makes sense your dad is an Egyptologist, I should have figured you went, Egypt instead of something more common like Norse or Greek. But what the heck is he wearing?” Max asked, confused by Evan’s attire.
“How does wearing a navy blue Tracksuit and a purple handkerchief, make you a god?” Max asked.
“You’re kidding, right? I am Yato from Noragami. How do you not know who I am?” Evan asked annoyed.
“It’s an Anime…” Evan waited for any recognition to spike in Max.
Max nodded “Oh, okay, like cartoons.”
“I am going to pretend I never heard that, and we won’t speak of this to Leo ever if he finds out what you just said he may just disown your ass.” Evan looked down his nose at Max.
Sam snickered.”He knows what they are I have made him watch a few episodes of anime before, he is just messing with you.” Max turned to look at him.
“I have?”
“What? How did you forget?” Sam stared at his best friend intrigued.
“Oh, I dunno, I save my brain for important things. Like college exams and my future.” Max snarked back.
“It’s a waste, a total waste to be that smart and that stupid at the same time,” Sam responded back, shaking his head dramatically.
Evan nodded his agreement,
“Turns out beauty isn’t everything, I mean you were given a prompt like gods and went with something as basic as Loki. Didn’t even try did you.” Evan stated critically.
“What, I modified it so it isn’t just store-bought… Pshh, judging me and you’re just wearing a tracksuit.” Max defended.
“I suppose.” Evan turned his nose up at him, then he turned to look Sam over.
Sam was dressed in golden sandals and a long white and gold skirt and a bare chest, a white tattoo that circled around his belly button. The skirt had a thick belt with three long and flowing scarves in black, green and gold tied around his waist. Alongside it tying and holding everything up were gold chains and tassels that hung low on his hips. Almost as if it were extremely heavy and doomed to slip from his body over the course of tonight.
Evan berated himself mentally for how much he wanted to make that happen.
The whole outfit was completed with golden bands across his biceps and large black flowing material that hung from his arms like wings. The material billowed around him beautifully with every move he made. He wore a broad collar that looked like real jewelry but Sam knew it couldn’t be because where would he get something like that, and a pretty golden circlet hung off his white wig. Evan gulped and cleared his throat.
“But who are you supposed to be?” Evan asked, turning to stare at Sam, who had white hair a monocle and was wearing some sort of Egyptian wrap that covered half of his chest and hung low on his hips.
“I am Thoth the Egyptian god of wisdom, magic and the moon, I am supposed to have a set of huge wings, but they didn’t come in the mail on time. I am pretty sad about it.” Sam sighed, dramatically.
“Do you like my Usekh though at least that came in time?” Sam’s mood lifted immediately and he beamed waiting for affirmation while touching the necklace.
“Uh, yeah, it’s nice,” Evan said, trying to pretend like that’s what he was staring at.
“Wait, if you are an Egyptian god isn’t your head is supposed to be some kinda animal though?” Evan teased.
“It is supposed to be, but how could I wreck my beautiful face with sweat all night?” Sam motioned at his Egyptian eye makeup. Evan looked down at the ground and tried not to think about how gorgeous it looked with Sam’s almond-shaped eyes.
“Ahhh, sorry guys, sorry I am so late, it took me forever to get my four layers of Hanfu on.” Everyone looked up and Evan sucked in his bottom lip before turning slowly towards Sam and Max.
‘They are both dead, that’s hilarious, but poor Max.’
“You look prettier than every girl in here Leo… What are you wearing??” Sam said, honestly.
“Oh, I am the God of heaven from one of my favorite Wuxia shows,” Leo stated happily
“Yeah, you are,” Max said enthralled.
The long green robes flowed around him, elongating his body and making him seem like he was some sort of being that was needlessly handsome if anyone asked them who had captured the look of a god it was Leo hands down.
The wig he wore was so elaborate and authentic he wondered if he had magically grown his hair that long. It didn’t look fake, but had a cute little top knot on top with a little crown that held it in place and some sort of jade-colored stick that pinned it down. There was a small crown that rested against his forehead, with a big green gem on it that twinkled whenever the crappy strobe lighting caught it. The long wing went down to Leo’s bum and the long bits of hair that were not tied back fell softly around his face.
His creamy skin looked even smoother and prettier against the dark contrasting colors. And Evan could easily tell, that while everyone loved Leo’s curls, this might just be an easy second place. He looked so stunning like this, unbelievably stunning.
“Max, pick your jaw up off the floor and let’s go get some drinks huh?” Sam teased happily before throwing his arms around Leo and Max and dragging them off into the crowd. Leo followed
Evan chuckled, but followed them into the mess of bodies.
