You Will Be Mine Someday - Chapter 7 And We Meet Again..

Anna was about to sleep when gets a video call from Susan, she sits back in excitement and receives the call while leaning her back on the bed side wall.

“Hey, sweetheart…How is everything??? Are you getting adjusted with the climate and people around?” Susan questions non stop.

“Hold on lady…let me answer these at least…I am fine…this place and hotel is pretty good by people around here are questionable.” Anna rolls her eyes while responding back.

“All good…what happened???Did you meet your new boss??? How was the meeting??? Is he handsome??? Why is your mood off??? Don’t tell me you fought with him in the very first meet???” Susan starts her questionnaire again without giving gap to Anna for a response.

“Su…hold on…nothing happened as such…And I didn’t met the guy yet as he was busy it seems, I am going to the office tomorrow and will meet him directly in the meeting room. About my mood, it was spoiled by a man when I went out for a walk. You know what Su, he was so arrogant. His kid was pulling him to pick him up but he shook him off and walked away when I questioned him. I was fuming in anger.” Anna replies back with her face turning red in anger after remembering the scene back.

“Cool lady, Are you sure he was the father. I mean he can be his father but did you check with the kid or his mom to confirm again? What if he was just a passerby and the kid mistook as his father?” Susan calms Anna and questions her again because she knows that Anna has a habit of assuming things prior hand without giving a second thought.

“Umm…I didn’t actually…I got a call from his assistant and walked away from the kid and when I came back he was gone. But still I am pretty sure he was his dad.” Anna rolls her eyes again but deep inside she starts questioning her behavior.

“Alright, don’t stress yourself and forget what happened today. You have an early morning meeting tomorrow so grab some sleep.” Susan tries to change the topic.

“Yeah sure sweety, will sleep after your call” Anna relaxes finally after hearing Susan’s words.

“Then have a nice sleep and message me tomorrow once you are done with your office. Love you babe and miss you.”

“Sure…Love you too babe and miss u a lot.” Anna blows flying kiss to Susan.

Both hangs up the call and Anna prepares herself for the sleep.

7 o’clock

*Beep Beep*

Anna wakes up and switch off the alarm and heads to the bathroom to take shower.

She comes out after fifteen minutes and open her suitcase, picks up a formal peach color shirt and beige color overcoat and knee length skirt. She walks towards the dressing table and puts up a simple makeup with high pony. She checks all the document in the file and walks out of her room grabbing her file and handbag.

Anna usually don’t prefer breakfast until Susan forces her and thus she walks towards the dining hall to grab a coffee. “This will go for the breakfast.” She speaks to herself while picking up the coffee and settles at the nearby table.

She goes through the file while sipping her coffee and was interrupted by the text on her mobile. After receiving the text she quickly gulps her coffee and walks towards the hotel exit gate.

The text was from Ciao Chang, informing her about the car arrival.

She walks towards the car parked at the hotel entrance and quickly grabs her seat.

Throughout the journey she was busy reading the contract and proposal which she have to present in the meeting to Mr. Xian and other subordinate.

“Mam, we have reached.” Driver informs Anna while opening her car gate.

“Thank you.” Anna replied to the driver with a friendly smile.

She walks towards the entrance and reach the reception.

“Excuse me…I am Anna Xi from Chen Global company, here for a meeting with Mr. Xian.”

“Hello Miss Anna…we have been waiting for your arrival…Please fill in the details and let me help you with your temporary ID card.” Receptionist hands over a sheet to Anna to fill in her basic details.

Anna fills the details and hand it over to her back and collects the ID card from her.

“This way please.” Receptionist guides Anna towards the elevator. “I will inform Mr. Ciao about your arrival and he will be there on 9th floor near the elevator. Please take the elevator to 9th floor.” The lady informs Anna while pressing the elevator button.

“Thank you for the information” Anna smiles and response back.

Elevator was about to close when gets reopen by a hand.

“I am sorry.” A sweet manly voice draws Anna’s attention.

A tall handsome man walks inside the elevator and apologies to Anna for stopping the elevator.

She was taken back by the man looks. Anna kept staring at the man who was nicely tugged in his black color suit with his hair nicely placed with the help of gel. He was in his mid 30’s with a fair complexion and nice charm on his face.

“That’s Ok.” That’s all Anna could reply while getting back to her senses.

“Hello…My name is Wang Xu and you are???” The man speaks to Anna while stretching his hand for a handshake.

She quickly shook his hand and introduce herself.

When Anna walks out of the elevator, Wang waits for the elevator door to close and press the rooftop button.

After reaching on the rooftop he takes a deep breathe and chuckle after remembering the recent scene, he is a big time playboy and can get any girl on his bed but this time he has seriously fallen for a girl. He calls someone and asks them to dig out all the information about Anna and commands them to reports back to him in an hour. (*Wang Xu is the elder brother of Xian Xu and have another company to lead with but one can find him in Xian’s company a lot as both of them are very close. Xian loves and admires his elder brother a lot except to the fact that he is a playboy and thus Wang never discuss with him about any girl)

After reaching 9th floor, Anna was accompanied by Mr. Ciao who was already waiting for her near the entrance and introduce her to the team with which she will be working on the new project. “Miss Anna, please introduce yourself” Ciao requests Anna while making her way to come in middle of the team.

“Hello everyone, My name is Anna Xi, Marketing Executive Manager of Chen Global company. I am here to work with you all on the new project. Hope will have fun through out the journey and would request you to help me or guide me further.” She speaks in a soft voice and bows after finishing her intro.

Everyone was mesmerized with her beautiful face and perfect figure.

“Miss Anna, this way please.” Ciao guides Anna towards the meeting hall.

She grabs her seat which was on the right side of the long table, two seats after the main head seat.

“Do you need anything?” Ciao bends down and whisper in Anna’s ears.

“No…Nothing…I am all good.” Anna responds back with a smile.

“Alright…Please wait for five minutes… Mr. Xian is taking a quick team huddle and will be here with the team.”

“Yeah… no problem.”

After five minutes, door opens and Anna could hear people walking in and grabbing their respective places. Everyone stands up on Mr. Xian arrival and so does Anna.

She raises her head to get a glimpse of Mr. Xian and gets shocked. She whispers to herself “He is the same guy from last evening, what the hell is he doing here.” She tries to calm herself.

“Please have a seat” Xian address all the team member and asks them to get back to their seats.

Anna tries to avoid eye contact with him and starts the presentation.

Throughout the presentation she could feel a cold stare from the person sitting on the head chair but she didn’t dare to look at him and continued her presentation while making eye contacts with few people in the meeting room and gets back to her seat after completing the presentation.
