You Will Forever Be My Always - Chapter 16 (Aia's P.O.V)
After shooting, we were all excused. I gathered my things and saw Sun Hee talking to Riku. I forced myself to look away, but she looked at me and winked at Riku and oh my gosh I cannot handle that woman anymore. She already complained so much to me about my novel and the characters and is never satisfied with anything! I’ve had just enough of her. I’m so glad that I don’t ever have to work with her again. I walked out and went down to the lobby and took a deep breath and sighed. I’m glad all of that is over. I walked out of the building and saw Himari waiting for me outside with a concern look.
“Himari, what’s wrong?” I asked going over to her.
“Aia, you won’t believe what just happened!” She shouted.
“We didn’t get it did we..” I said looking at the floor.
“No we didn’t because Jinx said that they wanted to officially publish your book worldwide!!” Himari shouted.
“Oh my god! No way!” I smiled in excitement.
Jinx is the biggest publishing company in the world. They chose books from countries all over the world to publish worldwide since the writing industries we have now can only publish books only in a few countries. Having a book published by Jinx is huge! It will definitely change my life.
I was so excited and happy I had to tell Riku when I get home. I hugged Himari and thanked her before I left. This is the best day ever! Aside from filming of course. I got a taxi to drive me home and saw Riku’s car home which is odd because he usually has errands to run.
I gave the money to the taxi driver and went on inside but the door was locked. I knocked on it and Mrs. Yua opened the door and she was looking fancy and all dressed up.
“You look nice Mrs. Yua.” I smiled.
“Why thank you dear.” She smiled back and let me in.
“What’s the occasion?” I asked putting my purse down.
“Someone wanted to set up a nice surprise for you.” She smiled and moved out of the way. I saw Riku standing there all dressed up and I have to admit he looked very handsome and charming.
“What’s all this?” I asked.
“I just wanted to do something nice for you.” He smiled grabbing my hand and leading me to the kitchen.
“This is beautiful and so sweet.” I smiled after seeing the dinner he fixed up with wine on the side.
“I’m glad you like it.” He smiled and brought me to the table.
I sat down as he poured some wine in our glasses. Everything looked perfect as if this was all a dream. I pinched myself to wake myself up, but turns out all of this isn’t a dream at all. It’s actually real.
“Listen Aia, I know we aren’t close than we should be, but I’m hoping that we can start over and get to know each other better.” He said fixing his tie nervously.
“I would love to Riku.” I said smiling at him. I could see him trying to hide the fact that he’s blushing and I don’t know, but seeing him like that makes him even more cuter than he already is, like seeing a guy blush is really cute and attractive.
“I’m sorry about being rude to you the first time we moved in together…it’s just I’ve always been surrounded by people who abuse their powers and positions to get whatever they want ever since I was little. Meeting you is the first time I’ve ever met someone whose so kind and sweet and helpful and never need anything in return.” Riku said with a warm smile.
“I understand why you would act like that, but that’s all in the past now and once we get married, we both can start a new chapter of our lives together.” I smiled.
From that night on we both kept talking about our lives and personal emotions/feelings. It made me feel closer to him as a person and his soon to be wife. It turns out he’s a really sweet guy whose all soft on the inside and cool and cold on the outside, which I don’t mind. It makes him more attractive. As the night went on we sat there chattering and laughter. This is a night to remember.
