You Will Forever Be My Always - Chapter 19 (Riku's P.O.V)
It took me forever to get all that flour out of my hair and not to mention a bit more tough getting it out in the shower. I was sitting at the table looking on my phone reading the news on the movie premiere next week. I have always loved going to movie premieres and award winning shows just because I get to dress up. I kept scrolling through the media and went to get a plate of sweets to eat. I came back to the table and saw Aia.
“Did you get all the flour out?” I asked sitting beside her.
“It was a bit tough, but yes I did.” She said.
“Would you like some sweets to eat?” I asked moving the plate towards her.
“Don’t mind if I do!” She smiled and started eating the sweets happily.
I smiled at her and finished eating the sweets with her and went to go do the dishes. This was our first day off in a long time and it feels weird since we’ve hadn’t had a day to ourselves for once in a long time. After dishes I made some tea for Aia and brought it over to her.
“Aia don’t forget the movie premiere is next week.” I said handing her the teacup.
“Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that!” She said in complete shock.
“Do you need to go shopping?” I asked.
“In fact, I do.” Aia said sitting up straight.
“When would you like to go?” I asked sitting down by her.
“Let’s go tomorrow and we can spend out time off today before we have to go back to work.” She said.
“Yeah, you’re right.” I said laying back against the chair.
We both relaxed on the couch and tried to live in this moment until our phones went off and that’s when we knew it was time for us to go. I went to the living room while Aia stayed in the kitchen to answer her call.
“Hello?” I asked.
“Mr. Riku, we have a problem. Do you mind if you can come down here immediately?” Director Reo asked.
“Yes sir.” I replied and hung up. I looked at Aia and saw her hung up her call.
“Aia, I gotta go down to LSC. There’s something I gotta deal with something over there.” I said.
“Okay Riku, just drive safe. It’s raining pretty hard outside.” She said.
I went upstairs and changed into my work clothes, grabbed my jacket, and went back downstairs. Aia handed me my keys and I said by to her and kissed her cheek and left. It was raining and pouring really hard which it made harder to see where I’m walking. I unlocked my car and got in and turned the heater on. I turned my headlights and windshield wipers on and left.
I drove slow in the rain and watched out for people and their driving cause nowadays people drive like crazy. The further I went, the lighter the rain got which is good because driving in the rain is scary. A few minutes later I made to LSC Entertainment and went inside. I saw Director Reo surrounded by paparazzi with Sun Hee and it hit my mind that Sun Hee most likely leaked out false information. The security guards were trying to push them back while Director Reo and Sun Hee made their way upstairs. I went up and followed them.
“Director Reo, what’s happening down there?!” I shouted getting his attention.
“It was awful Riku! They wouldn’t stop bothering me.” Sun Hee said whining at me while hugging me.
“Well now that we’re clear of them. I shall give you guys some privacy.” Director Reo said and went back down stairs to get rid of the paparazzi.
Sun Hee and I walked into another room for peace and privacy. I wasn’t falling for her acting she pulled earlier when she hugged me. After working with her for years, her acting isn’t that good and she obviously wanted something and I on the other hand was not ready for it.
“That was quite a show you put on.” I said leaning on the desk.
“Well what can I say, I’m a born actress.” She said smiling while waiting for me to praise her.
“I guess, so what do you want.” I asked out of annoyance.
“It’s very simple Riku. You see all I want is for you to break off your engagement and cancel you marriage plans with Aia.” She innocently smiled.
“Never in a million years.” I said coldly.
“Why?! She’s not that great of a person. She can’t act, her writing sucks, she’s not even that pretty, and don’t get me started on her sense of fashion.” Sun Hee said rolling her eyes.
As soon as I heard her talking bad about Aia I instantly walked out the door and slammed it. I didn’t care how loud it was or if it bothered other people. No one treats and talks about Aia like that and I mean no one. I got so mad that I completely avoided Director Reo and the presses that were waiting outside of the building. I went straight to my car and drove home. I drove a bit fast because I knew that Aia was waiting for me to come home and I couldn’t wait to just hold her in my arms.
Once I got home and locked the car I rushed inside and took of my jacket and saw Aia coming downstairs. I instantly ran up to her and hugged her. I hugged tightly but not to the point where she couldn’t breathe but just tight enough to where I feel safe with her. I felt her hugging me back and it gave me a warm feeling inside like she’s also keeping me safe. I smiled as I hope she never lets go of me.
