You Will Forever Be My Always - Chapter 2
The day flew by and as usual it feels like the nights never last long. I was sitting at a small table waiting for Aera to arrive, but as usual she was late plus the fact that she didn’t know we had a library made it convincing of how she was late.
“I’m sorry I was late I got lost.” She admitted.
“Yeah I thought so.” I laughed.
We both continued to make jokes of her lateness and lack of directions. After all we are best friends. I helped her study the materials for the next test and before we knew it, it was time for gym class which we both very much dislike.
“Ugh I can’t believe we’re running again!” Aera shouted in distress while changing to her gym shoes.
“Me too! All we ever do is run.” I stated while dislikeness.
“Come on girls! Let’s go!! We’re running 3 laps around the track!!” The coach yelled while blowing his whistle repeatedly.
Aera and I groaned and started running the track like everyone else. As soon as we made it on our second lap I was ready to give up. When I looked at Aera, she already seemed dead. A few minutes later after we finished I had to help her back to the classroom where it was cool.
We had some free time in class since our teacher wanted us to study, but half of the class doesn’t take advantage of it instead they mess around which I don’t blame them. I got out my journal and pen and wrote down the last part of my story. It’s called ” Tears of Endearment “, it was about a girl who loves playing the piano, but is suffering from chronic eosinophilic leukemia, which is when the body produces too much of eosinophilic, a type of white blood cells that release chemicals in response to some types of infections and allergic reactions. The girl had a best friend and he wanted her to live out her life to the fullest and wanted her to experience adventure and romance because she doesn’t have much time left.
After I finished writing the ending it was time to go home. I called Kai to come pick me up since my legs were dead and sore after running. I saw a black car pull up and Kai opened the door for me to go in. After taking my seat we drove off.
“Miss Aia, your father has guests arriving soon. As soon as you get home please go clean up and dress nice for dinner.” He started keeping his eyes on the road.
“Of course.” I answered.
“This is our daughter Aia.” My mother announced signaling me to come forward to them and I did.
“It’s very nice to meet you Mr. Takahashi and Lady Takahashi.” I politely said with a smile.
“It’s very nice to meet you too Aia.” Lady Takahashi replied.
I sat between my parents and that’s when I heard footsteps coming from the hallway. It was a boy that looked around my age. He had really blond hair and london blue eyes.
“Oh and this is our son Riku.” Mister Takahashi said.
