You Won’t Understand Me - Chapter 102
Zeng knew he was in deep trouble. He believed he had an idea what was going to happen in the near future, that was him being pushed face down on the cushion, filled to the maximum extent and his moans filling up the entire room. Given how it had always been, he would not actually mind that. He gulped, hoping that it would not reach that point so that he could at least save some face.
“I ask you a question, Zeng ge,” Yul repeated, not caring about Zeng’s internal conflict, “Were you thinking about me?”
Zeng bit his lip in response but didn’t let the truth out. How could a dignified man like him stoop that low to the point of begging his younger lover to take him? Nope, he had some amount of shame left in him and so he would not be opening his mouth to answer. Not that it was necessary because his heated eyes had already already given Yul the answer he needed.
The officer had that smug look on his face that guaranteed embarrassment. “So I was right, you were thinking about me.”
“And what are you gonna do about it?” Zeng challenged, breathless. He had given in to his desires and wanted Yul to dominate him and hence, insinuating him looked like the best thing to do given the situation.
Yul smirked, knowing that he had won. “Nothing.” And sat up to watch the movie.
“Seriously?” Zeng threw up his hands, “You are going to leave me midway like this?”
Yul shrugged innocently, “What? Were you expecting me to do something?”
Wang Yul could be such a tease sometimes and Xiao Zeng just knew how to make him obey.
He clutched the pendant of the necklace and jerked Yul towards himself.
Yul gasped at the sudden aggressiveness, his face a mere inch from Zeng in a way that he could feel the heat radiating off his boyfriend’s body.
“I need you,” Zeng said, looking him in the eyes heatedly, “Right here, right now.” His voice was a command and a demand and Yul found that extremely hot.
“Time to unleash the Leo,” Yul said, getting on top of Zeng who watched the pendant dangling again.
=====
Wang Yul’s life was going on quite smoothly and he was rather happy about it. This morning he greeted back his colleagues with what one could call a minimal smile, a rarity on his part.
Many female officers’ hearts skipped beats seeing their handsome, cool senior with a rare smile.
The day went without any troubles. His team had managed to successfully crack a drug racket they had been working on since weeks. He was done for the day. All the reports were in and ready to be presented to the prosecutors and samples of the drugs were on their way to the laboratory.
A knock on the door of his cabin interrupted his last minute actions.
“Come in.” He said locking the files away.
A head popped from the door inside and a junior presented himself with a pair of large boxy spectacles and a wide grin. “Hi, Boss!” The guy chirped.
Yul sighed as soon as he saw that face, which was quite annoying and amusing at the same time.
JJ, short for something that nobody remembered since they didn’t bother calling him by his real name, was an IT professional from the cyber cell on the second floor. Yul remembered him as the hyperactive, hyper talkative, borderline annoying junior, who was apparently the only man in the building that talked to Yul so casually which was almost whenever they crossed paths.
JJ was loved by everyone for being the mood maker.
Yul sometimes wondered why such a cheerful person would bother to be associated with a boring senior like him. Then again JJ radiated the same energy as Subin. Yul finally settled on the conclusion that indeed, opposite attracts.
Extroverted people sure had an affinity for him, Yul concluded.
“Hey boss, let’s go for drinking.” The boy said, putting his best persuasive smile.
Yul dismissed without a concern. “I need to go home.” Zeng must be waiting. Yul had promised him to go out for dinner.
JJ snorted, “Go home to whom? Your non-existent girlfriend? Don’t lie to me boss, you don’t have a girlfriend. I have been keeping an eye on your social media and you never have any girl or girly stuff in your posts indicating that there’s no girlfriend.”
This bloody cyber stalker!
Yul noted to himself that he needed to block this person on his social media later. Then again JJ could easily hack into anything and everything and see his posts meaning that there was no escape.
“Maybe I just don’t want to be near idiots,” Yul said without a filter.
JJ whined, “Come on. We just solved the big case. Your team has worked hard. Everybody needs a reliever. That and we were also thinking you could treat us.” His pouty face again had a mischievous grin.
Yul remembered the same thing happening before, “I treated you all the last time and you people stuffed yourself with the most expensive food and drinks in the bar.”
It looked like his grumpy senior would not be giving in with simple requests. Therefore, JJ decided to play his ultimate card. “Come on, aren’t the gracious senior, Wang Sir?” He smiled.
Yul’s eye twitched. Though he appeared all tough and hard on his team, he actually wanted to be a person they could lean on.
“Fine. He agreed, “But this will be the last time.”
“Yes, boss!”
Yul just knew it wasn’t.
On the way out, the other juniors joined JJ, rejoicing in how his plan had worked. His ultimate card never failed. Yul was sure his wallet would be empty by the time he reached home.
They were in the parking lot when JJ asked another senior, “Aren’t you coming, Choi Sir?”
“Actually, I will have to pass. Kids are waiting at home.” Choi rejected.
JJ scrunched up his nose, “Aish, you have become so boring ever since you became a father, Sir!”
Officer Choi laughed and got JJ in a chokehold, ruffling his hair. “Parenthood changes people. You won’t understand till you have children of your own.”
Yul blinked. Was that fortune ever going to be his? He shouldn’t be thinking like this. He was happy the way things were.
Yes, he was happy.
He should be.
