You Won’t Understand Me - Chapter 109
Zeng narrowed his eyes. Yul was not backing down and his already hurt pride was hurt even more. So like any other person with a hurt ego, he reverted to the most plausible thing. Alright, so if it had come to this and if his cocky boyfriend was not budging, Zeng decided to resort to violence.
He was angry, he was hurt and he was pissed and nobody messed with him when he was pissed because his inner surgeon was ready to fight and cut everything down.
Looking at Yul dead in the eyes, he caught Yul’s privates and twisted them.
“Aaaaghhh fuck!” Yul screamed painfully and limped to the side of the bed. “My balls!”
Zeng lifted himself off the bed like Frankenstein and looked down at his victim, “A surgeon knows where it hurts the most.”
“You are evil, Xiao Zeng,” Yul mewled, not even having the power to be angry. “Weren’t you the one who said you won’t hurt me?”
“You asked for it,” the doctor shrugged as he got out of the bed. “It was an assault with your granted permission.”
Yul curled into a ball with his wounded, painful erection.
“Now please excuse me, I have a book to read.” Zeng picked up his book and glasses and was on his way to the study room.
“Wait, you can’t leave me like this,” Yul threatened.
“Actually, I can,” Zeng took sumo steps away for emphasis. Yul tried getting up but fell back again.
“Good luck with the boner which you unfortunately can’t jerk off. Don’t worry, you will be okay in an hour or two, just lay still and don’t move much,” Zeng said with enough sass to drown the entire city.
Yul gritted his teeth, “Fuck you.”
Zeng rolled his eyes, “You always do.”
He waved. “And I will be eating your remaining doughnuts. Bye-bye.”
Yul laid there clutching his balls, having lost tonight’s battle and his doughnuts.
=====
The next day, Yul was very careful with his balls whenever Zeng was near. He would cover his jewels with his hands any moment Zeng decided to approach him.
Zeng couldn’t help but snort seeing his antics. Yul kept glaring at him as his boyfriend laughed till his stomach ached. The same thing continued during breakfast.
While Zeng I was engrossed in his phone, smiling at something on it, Yul was glaring daggers at him, thinking about what he had been made to go through last night.
Zeng looked up smiling to see a grumpy Yul glaring at him.
“What?” He asked innocently like he was not the one who did an aggravated assault on his boyfriend. If Yul were to tell somebody that Zeng had been the cause of his grief last night, nobody would believe him especially when Zeng would be giving them that angelic smile.
“You are evil,” Yul hissed, chomping on the sandwich. His cheek bulged heavily due to mild rage and partly due to the sandwich.
Zeng snorted once again as he got up. Yul’s eyes didn’t leave Zeng as he approached him and stood beside him, leaning on the dining table.
“Sorry about last night,” the doctor said and bent down to kiss him firmly on the cheek. “I feel sadistic sometimes,” he confessed, “Especially when you make that face.”
“Not just sometimes. You are a full-time sadist,” Yul grumbled while chewing.
Zeng huffed, “Look who’s talking? You wanted to try cuffs on me once.” He was digging old graves.
“It was just a one-time thing, okay?” Yul insisted, looking embarrassed at his secret desire.
“They bruised my wrist,” Zeng pointed out.
Yul didn’t know how to counter that. He had regretted asking Zeng to get on with the experiment. Though the experience was alright, it certainly wasn’t his slightest intention to actually hurt Zeng and if his curiosity was hurting his beloved boyfriend, then fuck it, no more cuffs.
“I said sorry,” he mumbled, not meeting Zeng’s eyes as the other crossed his arms over his chest.
“So you don’t want to try it again,” he asked mischievously. To be honest he quite liked it, not the bruises but the experiment.
“Well… if you want it too,” Yul shrugged, “But we will be careful this time. Let’s buy velvet cuffs. Are those even a thing? I don’t know but then you won’t be hurt that way.” He spoke so excitedly that Zeng couldn’t help but get caught in it.
“Look at you getting all hyped up,” Zeng ruffled his hair.
“Hey, I had set it.” Said Yul, annoyed, pushing Zeng’s grabby hands away. He had spent ten whole minutes getting the perfect hairstyle not for his dork boyfriend to ruin it. Zeng was amused at the sudden mood swings. Smiling at one moment and pouting the next. It was adorable.
“Finish breakfast. I will set it for you again,” Zeng said, ruffling his hair again or whatever was left of it to be ruined.
Yul merely sighed and let Zeng do his thing. He could take his revenge in bed later.
After breakfast, Zeng kept his word and put the hairstyle back in place. He also straightened Yul’s crooked tie and dusted his uniform on the shoulders.
“All done,” Zeng said, taking a step back. “Put your necklace in.”
Yul took the pendant in his hand and kissed it before hiding it away inside, close to his heart. Wearing jewellery was not favoured in his department but for Zeng, looked like he was about to break some rules.
“Come home soon today,” Zeng said while sending him off.
“Anything special?” Yul asked while wearing his shoes. Zeng had your lunch box in his hand and Yul’s bag in another. He blushed a little.
“It’s nothing. I just… I want to see stars with you.”
“Stars?” Yul raised an eyebrow, “Are they even visible in this part of the city?”
“Yup,” Zeng nodded excitedly, “The news said the air was clearer these days and thanks to the newer Pollution Control Act, pollution levels have decreased so we may see some stars. So, can you make it?”
“Cool. I will be there. But where are we gonna go? Did you book a place?”
“Don’t worry about that,” Zeng said, thrusting the lunch box and the bag into Yul’s hands and pushing him towards the door. “Just go for now and come home early.”
“Okay,” Yul agreed, turning back for a goodbye kiss.
“Have a good day at work,” Zeng kissed him back and sent him off with a wave.
