Your Wish - 19 He's Not the Villain?
After they clean up and wash the dishes, they prepare to go out and immediately proceed with the plan of buying a building for the restaurant.
John and Sophia headed to the agency that sells buildings and houses on foot.
As they walked around they saw many people, where some even greeted them which are mostly those that live around their neighborhood.
In just about a few minutes of walking, they arrive at the center of town, where it is bustling. The center of the town is where all the shops and stalls are built. There are transactions everywhere you look. Like a person buying shoes, A vendor happily smiling as he made some sales, and also those people who don’t know how to cook so come here to buy food from stalls.
Everything is pretty much harmonious.
But then, the sound of a fight appeared in one of the stalls. And the noise attracted the attention of the people at the market.
“You have no heart to dare scam me, huh, Old Man!” yell a man, who looked like a typical lowly villain from an anime or something that will die just for the MC to be known.
He has red spiky mohawk hair, looks to be about in his mid to late twenties with a fierce face. He is holding a 2×2 wood that is perfect for a weapon on the street, also just from the looks of this man it is obvious that he is a man who did not know how to do good.
He order the two men following behind him,
“Boys, get him!”
The two look like malnourished hooligans because you can also see the bones in their body if for the skin. About late teens or early twenties. With a sinister smile on their face like they are enjoying the thing they are doing.
They most likely came from the slum in the town, where all kinds of people from the underworld gather. This is also where the unfortunate people are being dumped into, those people who did not have luck on their fate.
John, as a kind hearted youth, was already going to interrupt the fight or defend the old man to at least question them of the details of what happened. Although from the looks of the three people yelling in front of the stall that just screams ‘I AM A THUG’ he did not judge him immediately because he did not know the full story… Yeah, trust me, he did not.
Okay, so back to John.
He was going to rush in when he saw the man with a mohawk hair ordering his men. Then as he was running towards the stall, his eyes lit up and his feet stopped.
He is staring in the space in front of him as if he is looking at something even though there is nothing in there.
She can’t help but think, ‘Has his brain been damaged?’ but she immediately shakes her head to remove that thought about her child.
‘How could you think of something like that about your kid! Maybe he just remembered some stuff or something like that!’ she reprimanded herself as she stayed looking at John.
As for why John suddenly stopped and why he is staring in space like an abnormal. I think you all know why, right?
Yes, that’s right! Another mission appeared! God bless you all!
He hurriedly looked at the details of the mission.
[New Mission!]
[Mission: Savior from scammers]
[Details: Mark and his group have been scammed by the stall owner. They brought the rice that they bought earlier back to the stall, but the stall owner keeps denying that he sold that rice to them. Anger dawn to Mark and he is about to make a mistake. Help Mark to prove that the owner scammed and prevent them from being put to jail.]
[Time Limit: 5 minutes
[Reward: 20 tokens, 3 AP]
“Wow! This mission is very detailed,” John muttered, “So the man is not a thug, huh”
He looked again at the face of the thu- Mark, yes right , right it’s Mark, He looked at the face of Mark.
“Luckily, I did not judge him based on his looks… It’s good that I’m not that kind of person.” He said.
After John was sure that he understood the mission, he knows who he should side with.
John started running towards the fight that will probably result in Mark and his lackie if not stopped.
When John arrived at the scene, one of the lackie is about to make a move. John gulp a large amount of air and immediately shouted,
“STOOOP!”
He stopped when he noticed that all the attention is now on him. Not just those that are fighting, but also from all the people here in the Town Center.
They all have different reactions in his outburst. Some look curious, some disappointed that they did not see a drama because a kid interrupted the fight, and of course they will not be gone from all those people, those that don’t really care and just watch for the show.
When he makes sure that the two sides are not making any hasty movements, John slowly strides to the middle of the two sides.
John looked at the stall and did not see any damage as the lackie did not do anything to harm things.
He turned to look at the two lackie and said, “You two, step back.”
The two turn to look behind them, where Mark is standing.
Mark looked at the kid and a frown appeared on his face.
He said to John, “Kid, don’t butt in here. Go away and play somewhere else.”
A tick mark appeared on John’s face. He was irritated because he is being treated as a child but he can’t do anything about it as he is really a child.
Sophia then came rushing in, and took hold of John’s arms. She turned to look at who she thinks as a hooligan or Mark, and said, “I’m very sorry about that. Me and my child are going to go now.”
She tugged on the hand of John to tell him they are going.
But John did not follow, and he said, “Mom, wait. I just have to do something here.”
“Can’t you do it later and not here?” Sophia ask,
“But Mom, I have to stop them from fighting!” John told his Mom as he took back his hands.
“You..Sigh, I don’t know what to do with you.” She sighed as she understood that she can’t stop John from doing whatever it is that he needed to do.
“Okay, do what you need to do. But don’t make yourself be hurt, understand!?”
“Yes Mom”
Sophia backed off just behind John and watch what’s going to happen.
After John made his Mother back away, he turned to look at Mark who have a frown on his face.
He held his one hand on top of the other one and said, “So, let’s continue.”
…
