Yours Ours Us - Chapter 35:When Did You Regain Your Memories?
With teary eyes, she said, “Xiao Qiang, when did you remember everything?”
“I didn’t.”
“Then-how?”
“I remember small tiny bits of our time together. I have only begun to collect my spiritual powers, but they are much more busier trying to collect my physical body rather than my memories. However, every memory of you is important to me.”
“Xiao Qiang, how is it that I feel like I can’t love you anymore than I can right now?”
“Because your heart has long gone disappeared to mine.”
“Wouldn’t that make me heartless?”
“No, because you have mine.”
“How did you cook all of these, or did you buy them?”
“I cooked them.” He grabbed a piece fried fish for me to try. His cooking seem to have gotten better. When he first started trying to cook for me, his food were very horrible, but I ate them anyways because his love was sweet. Perhaps it was because of him that I started to like eating sweets. “Your cooking got much better.”
“Thanks.”
“Let’s eat. I don’t want to waste any of your food.”
After we finished eating we had a small chat. I didn’t want to waste our sweet time together for business. We rarely had time to spend together and now that he was not sitting on his seat, we can have more time together. It felt like bliss with how peaceful the moment was.
Maybe it was because I was starting to relax, but the fatigue of the past few days was starting to catch up and my eyes started dozing off. I was tired, but I didn’t want to waste this time. “Lin Lin, sleep. I’ll be here until you wake up.”
“Sleep with me.”
“Do you know what you are doing?” She cocked her head to side and wondered what her words made him think, but because she was too tired, she didn’t think much and instead placed a bed in the cave and lied down on it.
She then patted on the empty space next to her signaling that he was to lie down next to her. However, he didn’t and instead continued to sit on the chair. With sad eyes, she asked him, “Xiao Qiang, why don’t you want to sleep with tonight?”
“I do, but I may go a little further than sleep. You need to rest, so I don’t to disturb you.”
She again cocked her head to the side thinking about what he meant, but again she failed to do so. Maybe the wine was finally starting to kick in. She did drink a lot wine. However, her alcohol tolerance was quite high.
Since he didn’t come to her, she went to him instead and changed the chair he was sitting on to a long bench. She also got out a blanket and then laid her head on his lap. Feeling the comfort of him, she went to sleep.
However, for Xiao Qiang, he was struggling with inner demons. He didn’t want to move to make her wake up and her sleeping face was too pretty, so he just wanted to keep staring, but his inner demon was fully awake wanting her. He struggled pretty bad. He knew that if he touched her even once, he might go crazy, so he sat there mindlessly trying to control himself.
When the next day came by, he was still awake and Xia Lin was still asleep. He wondered for how long he had to abstain himself for. Logically, he didn’t need to, but she always came home with a tired face and he didn’t want to tire her out even more.
However, he was tired right now. The whole entire night, he had been controlling his inner demon. It was even harder with her face and body there on his lap.
After the sky had gone a bright orange, did she finally wake up.
“Xiao Qiang, you seem tired. Did you not sleep? You should have. You didn’t have to stay awake to keep guard for me.”
“Who’s keeping guard for you? I’ve been trying not to eat you while you were peacefully asleep.” He was straightforward in his words and she knew what he meant. She kind of felt bad for him. Then again, she was much much too tired yesterday. It was the first time she can finally lax her mind and body. “I’m sorry… Next time, just take action.”
“Then, what about now?”
“Cough, cough… It’s morning Xiao Qiang. You should wait for night time.”
“It’s almost night time.”
“Is it? Well, I still have time, so wait for a while. After I tell you why I had searched for you, you can do whatever you want.”
“Alright.” She then explained as to why she came see him. He agreed with everything, accept one thing.
She had made plans to go infiltrate the Underworld Palace to make her prediction turn into a fact. Her thought was that the person called Demon King right now was Xiao Qiang’s brother because his brother was good at manipulating bodies and changing bodies. The “Wei Qiang” everyone is paying respects to right now, is most likely his brother, Wei Kang.
She never had a good impression of him and she never will, but this matter had made her hate him even more. He was always making plans on how to usurp the throne and now that he has it, he has gone crazy. Back then, whenever she saw him she always had the urge to kill him. Now that sh ehad a reason, she wouldn’t hold back.
Not only that, he even dared to harm her beloved just for a stupid title. She was angry enough thinking about that it made her blood boil and her hatred showing out right in her eyes. She was going to kill that idiot right when she finds him.
The Wei Bloodline had chosen Xiao Qiang because of his superb leadership skills and his abilities. He was above average on everything that a king needed. Whether it was fighting or writing, he was excellent. His cooperation skills were top-notch and every team fight he lead was victorious.
However, Wei Kang was below him by a lot. Wei Kang never really paid attention to other people other than his greed, which showed everyday. This made the Wei Bloodline think twice before choosing. Wei Kang was the older brother, but he never really role modeled as one.
He was a typical bully. In fact, when I first came, if not for Wei Qiang helping me, I would have been raped by that perverted jerk. He had hundreds of concubines which made me puke and always had threesomes. Sometimes he went deeper into even more disgusting and perverted things that I even helped the girls out.
Not all really wanted to become his concubine after all. Most was forced. It was really sad, but this is a different story. Harming her beloved was something she wouldn’t tolerate which was why she recommended on infiltrating the palace. She had a much deeper and sinister plan that what she told Xiao Qiang.
