Heaven Destroyer - Chapter 219
“Heh?” the man appeared surprised when his attack missed its target. He turned around and peered at Ayaan and the two children beside.
Space element?
No, I haven’t felt any space ripple.
What was that?
He looked at Ayaan and licked his lips before chuckling. “It looks like you have really got something from the tower. Don’t worry, after killing you, I will take everything from your body. If I can’t take it from your body, I will take it from your soul.”
Ayaan was already annoyed with this man, and his bragging made his expression even worse. However, this bastard really had the capital to be arrogant. He was already at the peak of the Butterfly Realm, after all. “Do you think it would be this easy to kill me?” Ayaan snorted.
“Of course I am fully aware about this, that’s why I have a… special plan for you.”
Ayaan frowned when he heard his words. He did not understand what this man was trying to say. Just when he was lost in thought, a sudden dangerous feeling crept into his heart and his back shivered. “Be careful!” everyone around him shouted when they saw a shadow behind him out of nowhere.
Though Ayaan was powerful, even he couldn’t avoid this attack and a shadow dug the dagger into his chest. “Puchi!”
“Puff!”
Ayaan vomited a mouthful of blood when the dagger penetrated into his body and his guts lurched inside his stomach. He clasped the hand of the attacker with one hand and dagger with another, and eyed the man who successfully landed the attack. “Why!?” Ayaan asked in shock when he saw his attacker.
“Because I wanted to destroy that bastard Alexander!” he gritted his teeth in hatred and kicked Ayaan on his chest. The dagger left in his hand while Ayaan was sent flying farther away.
“Ayaan!!” everyone screeched horrifyingly when they saw such a scene. Tears fell out of their eyes and hatred flickered in them—Ayaan coughed blood once more as he fell, and his eyes felt blurry. All the girls dashed towards him with a terrified expression.
“Why did you do this, Armori?!” Alexander demanded when he saw that his closest friend did such a thing. In this world, he trusted this man more than anything, even more than his own daughters. He was like a brother to him. They have gone through thick and thin together. They have encountered hundreds of life and death situations and fought out of them, together. He never treated him like a brother-in-law but as his own blood brother. Even better than his own brother.
However today he felt as if he knew nothing about this man. He looked completely stranger to him. What happened to those who have fought with him and overcome many perils? He couldn’t believe that he was looking at the same person.
“You damn bastard!” Armori cursed, hearing Alexander’s question. “You are asking why I hate you? I hate you because you snatched my Sophia away from me!”
Hearing Armori’s words, Alexander left stumped. He could not understand what was going on anymore. What Sophia has to do with this situation?
“What are you talking about?” Alexander frowned. He did not understand what she had to do with this situation. She died a long time ago, after all.
“You ask what am I talking about? You fucking pig!” he cursed, while looking at the man in front of him with eyes filled with hatred and indignant. “I loved her! I wanted her! But then you came in between and stole her from me! And you are asking what am I talking about!!?” the voice continued to raise and at one point it became a roar, echoing in the entire area.
“You… wanted… her?” Alexander left dumbstruck when he heard his words. He couldn’t process those words. “But… but you are her brother…”
“So what I am her brother?” sneered Armori. “Love doesn’t care about these petty things. Love is beyond that—beyond the blood relation, religion, cast or anything.”
“You are sick!” Noor couldn’t take any more of his nonsense and blurted out. “You should die, you bastard!”
“I also wanted to die after that fucking third elder killed Sophia. Even though he had promised me to spare her life.”
“Wha-what did you say?” Alexander couldn’t stop himself from asking. “You were the one who led all the soldiers of the Heavenly Palace into the two clans?”
Armori looked at Alexander and chuckled. “Who else other than me would have the guts to do something like this? Of course I wanted Sophia, and I wasn’t as powerful as you. So what option did I have other than using an underhanded method?”
“I will kill you, bastard!” Alexander roared and lunged at Armori. Suddenly Armori disappeared from his place and appeared behind him and kicked Alexander’s neck as the man smashed on the ground like a dead pig.
“Humph! Do you think you are still stronger than me after Milord has baptised me? Now I am a powerful eater who would eat your flesh slowly but surely.” After that he turned towards Noor and Isbel and licked his lips in a most perverted way possible. “You don’t know how long I have waited for this day. Though I have lost Sophia, she left you behind. Come here.”
“You crazy maniac, I will slaughter you!!” Noor lost her composer when she saw her father lying on the ground without moving while this bastard continued to blurt those ugly words. She couldn’t believe that she had treated him like her kin previously. Who knew he was such a disgusting person.
“Keep calm!” just when Noor was about to attack, Leafwhisk held her arm and shook her head. She looked at Armori and said. “I have seen many disgusting men in my life. Only a few can beat you in this matter.”
After that, she looked at everyone and said. “Noor and Isobel, you two will fight with this disgusting man and slaughter him. I, and Rebecca will go to battle with that dog.” Afterwards she eyed the two children, looking at her worriedly and patted on their heads before speaking. “You two will guard Ayaan. He is poisoned.” She looked at his unconscious, pale face and sighed. But she was unaware that when he would wake, everything would change.
